We missed the Simpsons’ anniversary! Yesterday, April 19th, marked twenty years to the day that The Simpsons first appeared as short, primitive “bumpers” on The Tracey Ullman Show (remember when Tracey Ullman was Fox’s next big thing?).

Fox did nothing special to mark the occasion. They’re saving the party for the 400th episode in May.

And of course, there’s the matter of The Simpsons Movie, which opens July 27th.
The Simpsons is seen in 60 countries. Check out the trailer, customized for dozens of them–and hear the characters’ dubbed voices– here.

(TAKE THE SIMPSONS QUIZ!)

    First!

I remember when Matt Groening was writing his Love in Hell books, and then eventually graduated to The Simpsons. What a difference 20 years make. Congratulations Matt.
