Thursday, March 15
“Well, the Ides of March have come.” “Aye, but they are not gone.”
Sorry there was no Top 10 Shows for you yesterday, my lovely ‘Gasmii. My internet provider cut off my internet access claiming that I had used up all of my allotted GB even though we were only two days into the billing cycle, which is a really crappy thing to hear when you write for a TV blog and streaming video is more or less crucial to your daily mental health. But it is all straightened out now, so here I am.
Missing (ABC 8pm) Premiere: When 18-year-old Michael Winstone goes missing while studying abroad, his mother, former CIA operative Becca, suspects foul play and immediately travels to Europe to track him down.
Not to be confused with the Lifetime program of the same name that ran from 2003 – 2006 and was about a psychic detective and Vivica A. Fox running all over the place having highly unprobable and wacky adventures.
Community (NBC 8pm) When Andre (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) and Shirley decide to remarry, Britta and Annie plan the wedding as Jeff prepares a speech; Pierce and Shirley present a sandwich shop idea to Dean Pelton.
It’s back! It’s back, it’s back, it’s back it’s back, it’s back! OMG, you guys, Community is back!!! It doesn’t matter at all what else is on tonight because Community is back!
American Idol (Fox 8pm) 1 voted off: the contestants face elimination
A) You’re too lazy to spell out the word “one?” Really? B) Didn’t they boot Jermaine Jones last night? I’m guessing that they’ll put everyone through the entire “drama” of an elimination show just to reveal at the end that no one’s going home because they already lost a contestant this week. So basically, you can just tune in for the last 3 minutes, if you’re at all interested in who stays and who goes. But I suppose that’s true about every results episode.
The Vampire Diaries (CW 8pm) Episode: 1912 — Current murders in Mystic Falls remind Damon of a similar crime spree in 1912; Elena and Matt try to prove that Dr. Fell (Torrey Devitto) is a killer.
At first glance, my brain read that as “Danny DeVito” and I really wished I had been keeping up on Vampire Diaries this season.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC 9pm) Derek asks Meredith to work with him in neuro again; Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen) comes back to Seattle Grace and takes an interest in Richard; Cristina becomes increasingly suspicious of Owen; Morgan may be falling for Alex.
Debbie Allen! Fun fact, did you know that she’s Phylicia Rashad’s (Clair Huxtable from The Cosby Show) sister? Also, she’s awesome.
The Office (NBC 9pm) Andy drives across the country to get Erin; Nellie shows up and tries to claim the manager position.
They’re not Pam and Jim, but I sure do want to see those two crazy kids make it work.
Touch (Fox 9pm) After widower Martin Bohm discovers that his emotionally impaired 11-year-old son can predict the future, he meets with a social worker and a professor who may be able to unlock the boy’s mind.
How did the Fox execs not see a problem with naming a show about an 11-year-old boy “Touch”?
Swamp People (The History Channel 9pm) Episode: Treebreaker 2
Treebreaker’s Revenge (I know nothing about this show.)
Project Runway All Stars (Lifetime 9pm) Finale: The three finalists have four days to create a signature collection for a red carpet runway show.
I’m still trying to reconcile the universe I know with this picture of Austin Scarlett not looking… well, not looking like Austin Scarlet. He’s kinda hot, right? Nothing makes sense any more.
Jersey Shore (MTV 10pm) Finale: Mike starts a rumor about Deena’s sister; Pauly and Vinny prank the house; a storm hits the Shore.
Paving the way for mediocre spin-off shows that you know you’re going to watch.
If you like it, spread it!:

PR Allstars finally ends tonight? Yay! That is a very pretty picture of Miss Scarlett.
Swamp People is awesome. Also an excellent reason Smell-o-vision never happened/needs to happen.
If there is one thing I hate fighting with (other than hubbycat) it’s the ‘puter people. Either way I can’t seem to win.
Glad to “see” you back! Gonna be an awesome JS recap, I’ll bet. Then what????????????
I was so excited about sending friends Ides Day cards. It’s Latin for middle or mid-way. Kinda like Hump Day for a month.
