Wednesday: All is Not LOST……

ABC is getting us all primed for next week. “What’s next week?” you ask. Well, I’ll tell you. It’s the season premiere of LOST! Sorry, I get a little excited when I think about it. Tonight at 8pm, ABC is repeating the final episode of last season’s LOST. They are giving us 3-hours to refresh our memories of all the action packed, heartbreaking & thrilling final moments of our castaways. “We have to go back…..” I wish the premiere was tonight, but I will wait one more week, just like you guys. Did you watch American Idol last night on FOX? I only saw bits & pieces. I think the new girl judge is a tad on the bitchy side. She’s new to this game (oh I know what a big shot she is, but damn, it’s just the beginning. Save it for the finals), so I’ll cut her some slack. Maybe Paula will share some of her pills with her to calm her down a bit. A few of the singers were pretty good, but I don’t think we’ve seen our “IDOL” yet. The rock star dude that got the shaft was such a crybaby. He cried before, during, & afterwards, all on national TV! There will be more auditions tonight at 8pm.

PBS is doing a six-part series on comedy’s history entitled Make ‘em Laugh: The Funny Business of America, host by Billy Crystal at 8pm. Tonight is called Nerds, Jerks & Oddballs: “Would Ya Hit a Guy with Glasses” : Breadwinners & Homemakers: “Honey, I’m Home!” Holy crap that’s quite a title. The show’s filled with all the best, from Bob Hope to Roseanne & it’s full of clips and interviews. If you love the classics in TV & movies, you’ll love this series.

BRAVO has a NEW Top Chef at 10pm. Our cheftestants are goin’ down on the farm for their next challenge. They will pick from fresh produce & cook a meal for the farm hands. (kinda makes me think of the movie Witness where they built the barn….) I’m soooo hoping they have to milk a cow! Can you see Fabio doing that?

TRAVEL Channel has a NEW Man v. Food tonight at 10pm. Our Man goes to Boston’s famous Eagle Deli to take on their famous Challenge Burger. It has 5# of beef, 20 slices of cheese, topped with 20 slices of bacon. Can you imagine!! I want to go get a cholesteral test just typing that mess, but I could reduce the fat content by replacing the beef with ground turkey & substitute the pork bacon with turkey bacon. The cheese is another story though. You just can’t find good fat-free cheese. I hope this guy doesn’t eat the whole thing.

The BBCA has a NEW series premiering at 3pm this afternoon. Gordon Ramsey’s F-Word is all about our favorite chef, swearing his way through adventures in food. Today’s show has him going to the frozen seas of Norway to go diving for King Crabs. Hey, he could be on Deadliest Catch after that expedition. I’m going to record it for later. I think it’ll be fun to watch while defrosting the freezer.

CW has a NEW 13: Fear is Real at 8pm, followed by a repeat of 90210 at 9pm.

FX is airing a NEW Damages at 10pm.

MTV has a NEW Real World: Brookyn at 10pm.
