TV Patrol: Monday Moments

Tonight is the season finale of The Closer at 9pm, on TNT. It’s the day before the big day, Brenda & Fritz are finally getting married. That is, unless something happens to interfere with the blissful plans. Helping with the nuptials will be Brenda’s parents (Barry Corbin & Frances Sternhagen) & Fritz’s sister (Amy Sedaris). Both Fritz & Brenda are working on high-profile cases. Will they make it to the wedding or will we get a ‘cliffhanger’ ending…..

It’s the reunion show on The Bachelor: The Women Tell All at 8pm on ABC. It’s down to Molly & Melissa & while they’re off prepping for that final rose ceremony, the roseless 15 losers are brought back to raise hell with Jason. ABC also gives us an update on their biggest dating game sucess story ever. We get to see how Trista & Ryan are doing since their 2003 wedding. There is also an update on Charlie O’Connell & his 2005 pick, Sarah Brice. Are they still together? The Bachelor finale airs next week at this time. I’m rooting fot Molly.

True Beauty wraps up tonight with it’s season finale at 10pm. I wasn’t going to get involved in this superficial show, but I can’t resist phoney people trying to be sincere. We have three “true beauties” left, Billy, Joel & Julia. Tonight it’s the evil ‘half-naked’ photo shoot. The guys are all for it, but Julia wants to be Miss Texas & is afraid this is not in her best interests. They are also interviewed individually to determine which one really has that ‘true’ inner & outer beauty. The winner gets a spot in the People Magazine “100 Most Beautiful People” issue & some money too. I’m all for Billy getting the win. I’m smitten! I guess Tyra & Ashton did create a pretty good show after all.

NBC has all new episodes of Chuck at 8pm, followed by our favorite cartoon, Heroes at 9pm. Medium, which should be on a different night away from these other two loser shows, rounds out the night at 10pm.

Rumors have it that on House tonight at 8pm, on FOX, House & Cuddy are finally going to do the down & dirty, dip into the inkwell, play a little slap & tickle, but it’s just a rumor. Wison & Cuddy get suspicious of House when he starts acting nice. I’ve heard another rumor that he gets a new med that takes his pain completely away. We’ll just have to wait and see. 24 is all new at 9pm. It’s still day 7 & it’s between 5-6pm.

CBS has opted, once again, to air reruns of their Monday night comedy line-up. That’s starting to piss me off! I like these shows, but I’m not one of those idiots that wants to watch the same shows over & over again. Blech!

ABCFamily is airing a new Secret Life of an American Teenager at 8pm. The soon to be cancelled, Kyle XY follows at 9pm.

E! has The Fashion Police at 10pm. A rundown of the 2009 Academy Awards designer gowns & accessories will be picked over. I’ve already made my “Best Dressed & Worst Dressed” choices.

TLC is back to showing new episodes of Little People, Big World at 8 & 8:30pm. I’ve always loved these little guys & their trek thru life. Now I’m beginning to hate them. They just spend way too much money! They have this huge mansion of a house to live in now. Why do these little folks need such a big house! I’m wondering if Matt’s feeling the crush of the financial fall-out. He just beg, borrowed and stole to get the money to re-do the whole place. There can’t be that much money in pumpkins. If there is, then I’m gonna start tilling up my front lawn. Stop & see me on Halloween.

MTV has a new The City at 10pm & they are following that with The City Aftershow at 10:30pm, like they used to do for The Hills.

TRAVEL has Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations at 10pm. Tony’s going to NYC to visit some of his favorite restaurants & to see how they are doing with all the changes going on in the city.
