“Saturday Night Sarah”

TV Patrol

Saturday Night Live has been really bringing politics to the people! Tonight’s show will be all over the news & internet by Sunday morning. The host for SNL is Josh Brolin, Oliver Stone’s pick to play the lead in his new movie, “W” about George Bush’s ‘road to the White House’. David Cook, of “American Idol” fame is the musical guest, but the ‘icing on the cake’, is the appearance of Gov. Sarah Palin. It’s been said that she will parody Tina Fey’s American Express commercial. Whatever she does, it’s gonna make headlines. Is there anything else worth watching tonight? I’ll let ya know after the jump…..

Joe the Plumber bought me dinner at Chili’s with his AmEx! It was hot.

I just finished watching “Crash”, which premiered last night on STARZ. Get the fuckin’ net, they’re all crazy, & I LOVE crazy! We have the has-been music producer who pulls knives, guns, & his dick out whenever he deems it necessary. His driver tries, unsucessfully, to keep things cool. The pervert cop creeps me out with his “you make my dick hard” attitude. His female partner is annoyed with him but is too busy screwing a ‘dirty’ married detective, who takes money from the Korean Mafia to “fix things”. This is where our Korean (I said Chinese in the post yesterday) EMT comes in. He puts a straw in some dude’s chest for breathing. (I always thought you put it in their neck?). The ‘dirty’ cop comes after him. In suburbia, we have a lovely couple who have the father-in-law living with them cuz hubby cracked his ribs when he choked. Did I forget anyone? All these people are suppose to connect at some point & “Crash”…. get it! I’m hooked, and think you should “Check it Out”.

“Crusoe” was a different story. I cried “BULLSHIT” in the first 10 minutes. When our “hero” rode a zip-line for almost a quarter mile through the jungle tree tops, stops at this landing, loads a flintlock rifle, fires it at this target which sets in motion this wooden machinery that eventually ignites this tower for a rescue signal, I was ready to shut it off. I watched a bit longer & then shut it off. Like I said….. Bullshit!

Okay, okay, enough about last night. We have to talk about tonight.

We have a few notable new shows:

MTV:

“The Hills: According to Me” at 2pm in the afternoon. (new show) It is suppose to be a parody of their most popular show, “The Hills”. I’m sure they will show this more than once.

Bravo: “Notting Hill” at 9pm. Julia Robert’s when she was on a roll.

I’m sure you will all watch SNL at 11:30pm on NBC. I hope my friend RachWho watches. She’s a huge David Cook fan!

politics aside I think the big issue tonight is Sarah is a bit older maybe and much prettier than Tina Fey… That will be obvious.. but I would look for a back slap that Sarah is not expecting which will be rather sad ……as she doesn’t really deserve people making fun of her husband sleeping with his daughter because there isn’t anything else to do in Alaska.
