Gone Country premieres it’s 3rd season tonight on CMT at 8pm. I think the group John Rich gathered this season is priceless in their diversity. There’s no Bobby Brown, but who needs him when we have funk-meister George Clinton? Justin Guarini of American Idol fame is trying again. I’m rooting for him because he’s got a great ass. Sheila E & Miss USA Tara Conner are the divas. The other two are actor Richard Grieco & Monkee Micky Dolenz. CMT will re-broadcast this show at 10pm. Did last season’s winner, Julio Iglesias Jr, become a country hit?

The LIVE Miss America Pageant begins at 8pm on TLC. Mario Lopez is the host for the evening at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. It will be the first time four beauties, from the 52 competing, will be voted into the Top 15 by viewers. My pick for the winner is Miss Georgia. She’s gorgeous.

NBC has the US Figure Skating Championships in Cleveland, at 9pm. This is the women’s finals tonight with defending champ Mirai Nagasu expected to compete. Ice skating hasn’t been the same since Tanya was banned.

For those of you that missed LOST on Wednesday night, ABC is repeating it tonight beginning at 8pm. And for those who didn’t record it, you can check it out again & maybe catch some things you missed the first time. Maybe you can see what’s written in Daniel’s journal.

CBS has two episodes of Gameshow in My Head at 8 & 8:30pm. I happen to enjoy this show. It’s much better than Howie Do It on NBC. I watched Howie last night & saw absolutely nothing funny about the ‘pranks’ he pulled on people. I don’t think making someone believe they electrocuted a friend is entertaining to watch. Does anyone agree with me?

If you’re looking for some laughs, COMEDY Central has stand-up comic night starting at 8pm with Kevin James: Sweat the Small Stuff. Ralphie May: Austin-Tatious follows at 9pm. Then at 10pm, we have Dane Cook: Rough Around the Edges.

So there ya have it. All the things worth watching tonight. Sunday can’t come soon enough.
