Halloween’s just around the corner and all those scary movies will be on TV. Linus will once again sit in that pumpkin patch and wait for the Great Pumpkin. AMC is planning a HorrorFest that week. I will let you know in plenty of time to set your dvr. SpikeTV gets things rolling tonight. More after the jump….

You’re the Biggest Loser!

SpikeTV is airing the “2008 Scream Awards” at 9pm tonight. They will be honoring the best in horror, science fiction & fantasy. Matt from “Heroes” interviews the nominees on the ‘Blood Red Carpet. Some of the categories are:

“Best Scream”

“Best TV Show”

“Best Villian”

“Best Sequel”

….. and, of course, awards for actors, actresses, directors, & writers in movies & TV.

Other shows for the night are:

ABC:

“Dancing with the Stars: Recap Show” at 8pm. We get to see all the losers get the heave-ho once again. I bet we see Misty screw up her ankle too! At least we’ll see Maks one more time.

“Dancing with the Stars: The Results” at 9pm. I’m wondering just how far Cloris can go in this competition. I don’t know who will go tonight. We may even get an upset and see Lance & Lacey go. If there is a god, Susan Lucci will take her fragile, broken ankle back to Pine Valley. I can only hope.

“Eli Stone” at 10pm. (new) Katie Holmes comes back to TV in this episode. Do you really think she’s a Stepford Wife to Tom Cruise? I’m a new fan of this show, thanks to Narcs! This is just fun to watch.

CBS:

“NCIS” at 8pm. (new)

“The Mentalist” at 9pm. (new) This guy is still making the cops look like dopes. Love him!

“Without a Trace” at 10pm. (new)

NBC:

“Biggest Loser: Families” at 8pm. I hate watching the torture they put my fellow fatties thru. It’s cruelty to the ‘big boned’.

“Law & Order: SVU” at 10pm. (new) This is one of my lovely niece’s favorite shows. I’ll watch tonight Steph, but there better not be perverts! Didn’t Robin Williams play one on this show a few years ago?

FOX:

“House” at 8pm. (new) Did you watch last week. Wilson came back! No sign of the ‘private dick’. I liked that dude.

“Fringe” at 9pm. (new) Another niece favorite. I’m not watching this one. They lost me the first episode when the plane landed itself.

CW:

“90210″ at 8pm. (repeat)

“Privileged” at 9pm. (new)

Animal Planet is airing a new show tonight. “Living with the Wolfman” at 10 & 10:30pm. A wife joins her hubby in the wild, living with a pack of wolves. The preview shows her getting her face licked by about 6 wolves. (yuk! …doesn’t she know they lick their asses.) I hope she doesn’t get eaten like the girlfriend from the “Grizzly Diaries”.

BRAVO has the first two episodes of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” at 8 & 9pm, followed by a NEW episode at 10pm.

FX is airing a NEW episode of “The Shield” at 10pm. (I will try to catch it tonight JasonR.)

As Nads reported, “FrankTV” starts it’s new season tonight on TBS at 11pm.

ABC Family has two new shows:

“Lincoln Heights” at 8pm.

“Greek” at 9pm.

RealTV has the latest episode of “Gimme My Reality Show” at 8pm. The 6 so-called celebrities have to generate their own “publicity”. Two will be eliminated tonight.

That’s all I have for you today. Let’s hope there’s more exciting fare on Wednesday, but I don’t know how that can be with “Project Runway” over…. and they screwed us out of a ‘reunion’ show! Bastards.

    Thanks for letting me know the first hour of DWTS was a rip off. I almost didn’t DVR House because I thought it was the results….
    you rock TV Patrolwoman.

    And tomorrow is the DINNER:Impossible at 10 PM
    With Chef Symon..and the guy who won the last food network next best chef …Aaron…. what’s hisname is helping.

    Simon Baker’s charm totally carries The Mentalist. With a less engaging actor, this show would be a flop. (Robin Tunney is unlikeable in this show.)

    I agree about Robin. If they’re trying to make some sort of sexual tension between those two, it’s not working. Agent Cho’s a better candidates.

    And yes, she’s totally a Stepford. I’m still holding out that with her getting more acting gigs and doing really well in Broadway, she’ll see she doesn’t need him anymore and run.
    After all, Britney isn’t crazy anymore and I didn’t see an end to that madness coming any time soon. Why can’t Katie do the same? :[

    okay, robin is a talented actress and just bc you have no lives doesnt mean you should be posting shit on her on forums. she is wayyy more successful than you and are you the directors? its a good thing what they are doing with the show, they are trying to make it MORE interesting and unless you have a PROBLEM, i would advise you shut up. is it right that we go on forums to post reasons why we LIKE the show? i am a huge fan of robin tunney and the mentalist and i really dont appreciate you talking about her (or simon). and to answer your rhetorical question, she was and is still very likable. i dont think she would’ve gotten many roles if she wasnt…
