Jesse-1

I’m definitely “Jesse’s Girl!

Some shows take time to connect with the vast majority & are definitely NOT for everyone. If you are looking for intense drama, shocking twists & turns, “want to look away, but can’t” moments, then this is the show for you. Season #3 of Breaking Bad premieres tonight at 10pm. Follow cancer-ridden, chemistry teacher Walter & his small-time, drug dealing, ex-student, Jesse, while they try to figure out just how & why things got so BAD! Sunday’s are getting crowded….

Seriously?

Kirstie Alley’s Big Life premieres tonight at 10 & 10:30pm, on A&E. I’m not sure if she’s finally embracing her largeness, or she’s just trying to promote her new twist on dieting. Organic Liaison, a weight-loss program she developed & is selling, will roll out at the same time as her new reality show. Her two teenage kids, True 17, & Lillie 15, are her co-stars. Hopefully it will be funny. I won’t pass judgement until I see it.

Gene Simmons Family Jewels begins it’s 5th season at 9pm, on A&E. It’s premiere is the lead-in to Kirstie’s new show.

Polar Bear Bliss!

LIFE premieres tonight on Discovery at 8pm. This 11-part documentary is from the makers of Planet Earth. It will be simulcast on 7 networks, six in stunningly beautiful HD. Narrated by Oprah, it explores “the adaptability & diversity of life on Earth, revealing the most spectacular, bizarre & fascinating behaviors that living things have devised to thrive.” There ya have it. The other channels are TLC, Animal Planet, SCIENCE Channel, Planet Green, Discovery Health, & Investigation Discovery.

The Naked Chef is sick of fat Americans. Watch out Kirstie!

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution premieres or “previews” at 10pm, on ABC. The “Naked Chef” is on a mission to save us, claiming that our nation’s children are the first generation not to live as long as their parents. That’s most likely true, but turning this sobering fact into an entertaining show is a bit ambitious. Chef Oliver takes on Huntington, N. Va., which has recently been named “the Nation’s Unhealthiest City”. He will park himself amongst the locals for the whole season or until he gets cancelled. We shall see. (It will be re-broadcast at it’s new time slot on Friday night at 8pm, with a new episode at 9pm.)

…… to THIS!

As I was researching Jerseylicious, the new show premiering on STYLE at 10pm, I came across the first picture, promoting the show, back in November. The second one is the “new” promo picture, just released last week. This New Jersey love affair is in the minds of the networks, not the public. Don’t you agree? Everyone is trying to cash in on this new trend of “loud, self-absorbed & not overly bright” Jersey girls. If I was from NJ, I’d be pissed. This time it’s hair stylists from Green Brook, NJ. Mother/daughter owned, “The Gatsby Salon” has just been re-modeled & is hiring. There’s one dude stylist, Anthony, who’s probably the sanest of the bunch.

Season #3 of Kimora: Life in the Fast Lane premieres beforehand, at 9pm.

All of our regular favorites are still on tonight, with all-new episodes, so set your DVR wisely, so you don’t miss anything good.

Don’t forget, tomorrow night Dancing With the Stars!!! My “pick of the night” is Breaking Bad. It’s a no-brainer.

Chooch, I WILL fight you for Jesse and I WILL win. I’ll be watching too.

Don’t forget about NCAA on CBS when setting your DVR’s. I also heard a rumor that Obama might break in if the health care reform bill passes.
