TV Patrol: It’s Monday. Let’s Dance!

I think we’re all getting comfortable with the new season. I know what shows I’m drawn to & the ones I’ll never watch again. There are a few premieres still to come. Don’t forget, we’ll get a whole slew of new shows & returning shows (LOST) in 2009. Let’s talk about it after the jump.

I watched so much TV Sunday night!!!! It was all so good. We had to say goodbye to Mark & Bill on the “Amazing Race”. The worse thing you can do is not read the frickin’ clue! These two proclaimed proudly that they would win with brains, not brawn. They forgot to go off to see the Wizard & get those brains before they signed on.

“Mad Men” spiced things up a bit. Don found out just how wild & crazy those west coast people are when it comes to sex. Back at the office, Peg’s date declares, “I make love with the men, not the women.” stunning everybody & then styles Peg’s hair! He’s European! hahahaha!

“Dexter” & “True Blood” both had me in a tizzy by the end of the night. The intensity of “True Blood” just grabs you & won’t let go. It’s a rollercoaster ride, right there in your livingroom. “I’ll be sharpening a stake with your name on it.”

“Dexter”, on the other hand, calmly leads you down the path of emotional highs & lows. Tender, loving moments mixed with calm, precision blood-letting for the good of the kids. How can you not love these shows.

Okay, enough about Sunday. Let’s talk about Monday.

CBS:

“Big Bang Theory” at 8pm. (new episode) Sheldon seems to be the ‘break-out’ star on this show.

“How I Met Your Mother” at 8:30pm. (new episode)

“Two & 1/2 Men” at 9pm. (new episode) Jake can’t act. Now that he’s a teen, the cuteness is gone and he’s got nothing.

“Worst Week” at 9:30pm. (new episode) I still think this is the funniest new sitcom this season.

“CSI: Miami” at 10pm. (new episode) I always think of Joel McHale when I see Det. Cane.

ABC:

“Dancing With the Stars” at 8pm. I wonder if the judges are going to continue their love affair with that skinny bitch, Erica Kane.

“Samantha Who?” at 9:30pm. (season premiere) I can’t remember what this show is about. I must have amnesia.

“Boston Legal” at 10pm. (new episode)

NBC:

“Chuck” at 8pm. (new episode)

“Heroes” at 9pm. (new episode) “Angels & Monsters”. NowChooch thinks that FutureChooch isn’t going to understand anymore of this show by the season’s end.

“My Own Worst Enemy” at 10pm. (season premiere & new show) Christian Slater is sharing his body with another man. Who is this other man? Batman maybe? I need to watch this one.

FOX is airing Game #4 of the NL Baseball Championship playoffs. Phillies @ Dodgers.

CW:

“Gossip Girl” at 8pm.

“One Tree Hill” at 9pm.

MTV:

“Sex with Mom & Dad” at 8pm.

“Paris Hilton’s My New BFF” at 8:30pm.

“The Hills” at 9:30 & 10pm.

“The Hills: AfterShow” at 10:30pm.

TNT is airing a new episode of “Raising the Bar” at 10pm, after 2 episodes of “The Closer”.

TLC:

“Little People, Big World: Operation Iraq” at 8pm. (season premiere) Why the hell is Matt going to Iraq when he still hasn’t finished the frickin’ house he tore apart last season!

To Cattyfan: I did watch “The Unit” last night. I thought it had it’s moments. Isn’t that the dude who says, “You’re in good hands with Allstate.”? I think I need to see past seasons. I felt like someone who watches “LOST” for the first time & thinks: “What the hell is going on here?”

Wednesday night we will be having our final Presidential Debates. More fodder for SNL!
