I live for moments like this!

Jeff Probst’s Live For the Moment tearjerker TV show airs tonight on CBS at 8pm. It’s being called a “pilot” right now because CBS is testing the waters on how it will be received. Jeff is going out of his way to assure us all that it is NOT a kleenex show. He says it’s not suppose to make you cry, but to get you off the couch & start living. That alone would make ME cry…..

“Thrusting off into space IS alot like Lou Gehrig disease.”

The first episode is all about Roger Childs, who suffers from ALS & isn’t letting it stop him from living a full life. Kudos to Mr. Childs. I commend him for having such a positive attitude, but is this entertainment? CBS takes him & his family off to NASA to meet astronaut Buzz Aldrin. They get to watch the space shuttle lift off & Roger gets the ride of a lifetime in a fighter jet. Inspiration indeed, but is CBS gonna come & get me to take me to my dream adventure…. visiting Flipit in LA & watching his improv show at IO West? Until that happens, I’m staying on the couch. Nice try Jeff, but I’m not inspired & I haven’t even watched it yet.

What else is on you ask? Well I’ll tell you. Lots of repeats. Why do the networks start a “new” season & then resort back to reruns the minute we go to the bathroom. Oh there are a few new episodes on tonight…

Just love the picture…. but I’ve never seen the show.

FOX has a new Bones at 8pm, with the team checking out the bones of a dentist, found at the site of a Civil War dig & he’s definitely not from the war. It’s followed by Fringe at 9pm.

The CW is airing The Vampire Diaries at 8pm & there’s a new vampire in town! Supernatural follows at 9pm & there’s a little “Freaky Friday” going on when Sam swaps bodies with a nerd.

“…fuck me running…”

Project Runway airs it’s 3rd episode tonight at 10pm, on Lifetime. It’s all about teamwork when the designers are split into teams of 2 for the next project. With this year’s crew, this is sure to cause some great drama that I’m sure will boil over onto the runway. I can’t wait to see who gets paired up with the clueless Ping. I’m loving this season. At least these guys know what color means.

I smell a rat!

A new documentary series begins tonight on the Discovery Channel at 9pm. Flipped: A Mobster Tells All tells all about modern day gangsters who’ve turned on their mob families like dirty little rats. Squealers! Why they aren’t dead is beyond me. Maybe they will be after these shows.

New episodes of Burn Notice on USA, at 10pm & Real Housewives of Orange County on BRAVO, also at 10pm.

On the Road to …..

If you’re into the oldtime movies, TCM is having a comedy marathon of “The Road” movies which starred Bob Hope, Bing Crosby & Dorothy Lamour. Starting at 8pm it’s their first of many pictures together:

Road to Singapore (1940) 8pm.
Road to Zanzibar (1941) 9:30pm.
Road to Morocco (1942) 11:15pm
Road to Utopia (1945) 12:45am-fri.
Road to Bali (1952) 2:30am-fri.

There ya have it kids. My “Pick of the Night” is Project Runway on Lifetime at 10pm. If anyone watches Jeff Probst’s new show, let me know if it was sappy, will ya?
