TV Patrol: Monday’s Mayhem

Tonight is the premiere of The Sherri Shephard Show on Lifetime at 7pm. Sherri says it based loosely on her real life & the cheating husband she has kicked to the curb. Check it out……

Coincidentally, Sherri’s new book, Permission Slips: Every Woman’s Guide to Giving Herself a Break, hits stores today & she’s still clueless on The View every day. Lifetime is running new episodes of The Sherri Shephard Show all week at 7pm. Next week it will take up it’s regular timeslot on Tuesday night’s at 10pm. Can we stand it? I’ll let ya know.

Rita Rules follows at 7:30pm for it’s second season. Nicole Sullivan is working her real-life pregnancy into the show. This sitcom will also have new episodes every evening this week at 7:30pm & takes up the Tuesday night 10:30pm slot next week.

Over at BET, actress/comedian Mo’Nique throws her hat into the late night talk show ring tonight at 11pm with, naturally, The Mo’Nique Show. She promises it to be just like ice cream, “two scoops of fun, a sprinkle of Hollywood, topped off with a little real talk.” Her first guest is fellow comic Steve Harvey.

” ….whole lotta love, not all that gossip & trash talk! I promise to put you to sleep by 11:30!”

On a new Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC, at 9pm, Kate gets an organizer to help her clean out the basement. She’s settin’ all Jon’s stuff on the curb for the neighbors to pick through. Love the fact that they reported today that Jon did some cleaning of his own, by clearing out the joint bank account & leaving Kate with $1000.

Oh, on another TLC note, Little People, Big World returns next Monday night at 8pm with their season premiere. I’ve missed the Roloff’s & can’t wait to catch up this Matt & Amy! I’m waiting to see if their huge mansion goes into foreclosure!

All the networks are full steam ahead with all new episodes. The repeats shouldn’t start trickling in until the holidays. Premieres will be popping up here & there right until November.

NBC:

Heroes at 8pm. It’s a Nathan episode tonight. I’m thinking they are pulling a Capt. Kirk on us. We have “good Sylar” in Nathan & “bad Sylar” in Matt. Hiro’s back tonight too, running around like a chicken with his head cut off. I didn’t miss him & Ando last week.
Trauma at 9pm. I know I watched this last week, but for some reason, I can’t remember a thing about it. What does that tell ya?
If anyone cares, The Jay Leno Show is at 10pm. He’s got Jamie Foxx as his guest. Poor Jay, his ratings are lower than The Beautiful Life & that show’s been cancelled.

CBS:

How I Met Your Mother at 8pm. Barney is still trying to do Robin & asks Ted how just how to “do it” with her.
Accidentally on Purpose at 8:30pm, is just biding it’s time till it gets shoved into the cancellation barrel. They should have kept Worst Week.
Two & a Half Men at 9pm. Charlie runs over the girlfriend’s cat. Hilarity ensues! Annie Potts is guest starring as Judith’s drunk as a skunk mother.
The Big Bang Theory at 9:30pm. Sheldon trains Penny like a lab rat, with chocolate instead of cheese.
CSI: Miami at 10pm. Calleigh squeals on Delko in court. I think that scews up their romantic evening later. Cheryl Ladd is a guest star tonight.

ABC:

Dancing With the Stars at 8pm. I can’t wait to see the famous people in the audience.
Castle at 10pm. Murder at “Fashion Week” in NYC! Did Kenley finally get revenge?

FOX:

House at 8pm. James Earl Jones is the patient & he’s an African dictator. Hmmmm, like Idi Amin? Wasn’t he a cannibal?
Lie To Me at 9pm. Everyone lies on this show.

The CW:

One Tree Hill at 8pm.
Gossip Girl at 9pm.

Monday Night Football at 8:15pm on ESPN has the Packers @ the Vikings.
