This just looks wrong to me……
There are more of our favorite shows returning. Here is just a quick look at what’s up tonight. Little Miss Perfect is back on WeTV, at 10pm, for it’s second season. I’m not a fan of dressing little girls up & parading them on stage like tiny adult hookers, but this a “guilty pleasures” show to alot of people. I have to admit, I’ve stopped in my channel surfing to give it a look-see & ended up watching the whole show…
Was ’89 really 20 years ago?
TVland begins a new season of High School Reunion at 10pm. This year we see the “Class of ’89″ from Chaparral High School in Las Vegas. But they send this pack of cliques to Hawaii for the show. I think it’d be more fun if they would have stayed in Vegas!
Attention Grabber
MonsterQuest, on the HISTORY Channel, starts off it’s 4th season, at 9pm, with a 2-hour look at the Great White Shark! Why is it always sharks? Why can’t it be a possum? Those things are down-right vicious if you corner them & they have nasty teeth, just like a shark…
The real Indiana Jones?
The only new series premiering tonight is Solving History with Olly Steed on DISCOVERY, at 10pm. Mr. Steed is a journalist who loves an adventure. He will take us all over the world searching for answers to the biggest historical mysteries. Tonight, just like Indiana Jones, he will scour the Mid-East, looking for the Ark of the Covenant, which disappeared 2,500 years ago. Will I watch? Will you?
Hottest MILF on TV
CBS has it’s Wednesday night comedy line-up returning, with all-new episodes to compete with ABC’s hugely successful comedic night. The New Adventures of Old Christine & Gary Unmarried go up against a repeat of Modern Family & a new episode of The Middle at 8 & 8:30pm. At 9 & 10pm, CBS’s Criminal Minds & CSI:NY go up against new episodes of ABC’s Modern Family, Cougar Town & Ugly Betty in it’s new timeslot.
FOX, of course, will have night #2 of American Idol auditions & NBC has new episodes of Mercy & Law & Order: SVU. Oh yeh, The Jay Leno Show too.
The weird thing is that American Idol will go to 90-minutes tonight. It will be followed by a repeat of The Simpsons 450th episode, which aired Sunday. Why? My Little Genius, which was suppose to premiere tonight, following Idol, was yanked at the last minute. Producers report that rumors of the “little geniuses” being fed answers had some truth to it. They felt that the integrity of the show had been marred. The show will air at a later date, without the cheaters. The contestants on the premiere show got to keep the money they won, so that’s a good thing. Proves that cheaters sometimes win!
New episodes of Launch My Line on BRAVO, Nip/Tuck on FX, Real World on MTV & Leverage on TNT are all on at 10pm. See, there are plenty of alternatives to Leno.
Tomorrow is an even bigger night with no fewer than 17 new & returning shows to choose from. I will have that list for you by then. Sometimes I really think I need another DVR.
