TV Patrol: What’s on Wednesday?

We have a premiere tonight. High School Reunion returns to TVLand for a second season at 10pm. This years 15 classmates are from Arizona’s Chandler High, Class of ’88. They all meet for their reunion party in Hawaii. The Jock, The Homecoming Queen, The Ugly Duckling, The Class Clown, The Outcast… they’re all back. Old grudges will re-emerge, old flames will re-ignite. And one of these classmates will reveal the most shocking secret in High School Reunion history. Let’s check out what other “reunions” there are after the jump……….

There are two episodes of LOST on ABC tonight. A repeat of last week’s episode, “This Place is Death”, airs at 8pm. The new episode, “316″, airs at 9pm. Ms. Hawking takes 2 of the Oceanic 6, along with Ben & Desmond, down into the cellars of Oxford & into a room with a huge swinging pendulum. The Dharma Initiative called it “The Lamp Post”. Ms. Hawking declares that this is how they found the island. Are they going back tonight? I hope so. The previews hint that they do.

ABC’s Life on Mars airs at 10pm. Sam keeps getting bits & pieces of the past colliding with the future & this episode is no different. When a councilman gets busted with a hooker, it shakes lose an unexpected secret. Sam is also trying to dodge Lt. Hunt because he slept with his daughter. This is proving difficult to do, since the Lt. has the precinct in lock-down after a shooting & murder takes place there. (I’m still loving this show).

It’s results night on American Idol at 8pm on FOX. We get to see who America voted for. Three finalists are chosen & nine are sent packing. Michael John & Carly Smith are scheduled to perform a duet tonight. In case you don’tremember them, they are rejects # 8 & #6, respectively, from season 7.

Lie to Me follows Idol at 9pm. The “liar team” is hired to protect a S. Korean ambassidor who’s running for president in his country. He’s had a few death threats while attending his son’s wedding. The son ends up dead & everyone in the wedding party is lying about something. This is just what our hero, Tim Roth, likes, a room full of fibbers. I love the fact that his daughter can’t lie to him, cuz he knows if she does. This is a great show.

CBS has The New Adventures of Old Christine at 8pm. Gary Unmarried is at 8:30pm. Gary’s getting audited by the IRS & has to trust his ex-BIL to help him. Criminal Minds is at 9pm & CSI: NY airs at 10pm.

NBC’s got Knight Rider airing at 8pm. Life is on at 9pm & Law & Order follows at 10pm.

It’s getting down to the end on BRAVO’s Top Chef. at 10pm. Tonight our final four chefs are off to New Orleans for part 1 of the 2-part season 5 finale. Emeril Lagasse is the guest judge this week. I’m in love with Fabio, so I would really like to see him win, but I don’t think he will. Hosea just isn’t consistant enough. I think that the arrogant Stefan will run away with the title. Wouldn’t it be awesome if Carla out-cooked the guys & walked away as “Top Chef”!

That’s all I have for you tonight. I’m watching LOST & recording Lie To Me. I’m a sucker for a sitcom, so I’ll also watch Christine & Gary on CBS. Maybe I’ll even peek in on Idol, since it’s only an hour tonight. Oh & by the way Pottymouth, I did try to watch Heroes last night & got as far as Claire at the comic book store. Then I gave up & deleted it. I don’t regret it either.
