DEAREST TVGASM READERS,

It has only been a week (or two, depending on your shows) that the ‘gasm has been in hibernation, and I imagine you’re wondering where your good times went.

Nowhere! It’s summer, bitches!!!

We’ve taken our week in the sun (you know that’s a lie, cuz my pasty ass can’t even begin to deal with sun) to come up with a batting order that’s sure to please. As usual, your comments are NECESSARY. We need your input to know what’s working and what isn’t. After all, we are here only to get giggles from you. We’ve scoured high (ok, I have) and low (hiring people when you’re sober or depressed just doesn’t work, so I got high again) and came up with a pretty sweet summer batting order for you.

    Okay I am a long-time reader, seldom-poster…but Flipit you made my mother-freakin DAY with the announcement that you would be covering Top Chef again. I needed to share my happiness with the TvGasm world. SO EXCITED!! You rock.

    Also really glad that Flip-It will take on the Chenbot. Can’t wait till July.

    I’m disappointed that we’ve missed out on the latest Challenge and ESPECIALLY The Sopranos…this season has been utterly amazing

    Also, isn’t the Hills coming back this summer?

    I’m sure you and Schoonie know that you have a tough act to follow, since Big Brother recaps basically made TVG what it is today, but I know you’re both going to deliver the funny big time.

    I am sorry not to see Screampillar taking on a summer series. Please please tell me she’ll be back in the fall for “Friday Night Lights”!!!

    Aye, Aye with Pirate Master. It is the summer version of Survivor, and as Pixie Gal has stated, it IS insanely delightful…. I’m hoping you’ll recap it [fingers, crossed, eyes closed tight while hitting my veins]

    Ok – will anyone on THIS site be recapping Pirate Master? Because that show was created for someone here to mock.

    Also – what is with the lack of Hit_Em_Upton? I mean I like Kitty – I really do. But I am now watching Real World with UPton’s voice in my head and I was so eager to read his Vegas Reunion recaps. I feel totally bummed.

    Hey! HitEmpton and Screampillar are both taking the Summer off. This shit can burn you out. It’s like being a doctor. Wait. No it’s totally not anything like that.

    Umm…Pirate Master. We are looking as I type. Bringing in all sorts of new, solid writers for you to sample and choose from. Change is hard, but we are going to make it well worth it.

    In the meantime, we know of a friend doing a bang up job on that show as stated in the (borderline tacky) comments above. MidseasonReplacements is made up mostly of writers from here who moved on to make their own mark, and they’re doing a killer job. Check em out.

    And no, I’m not the new boss. I am the new secretary who’s always mis-filing people’s shit. Bear with me.

    GIFFORDSAZ, people post links to other sites and blogs all the time. I think by now all the drama is (or should be) over and people realize that yes people can, and do, visit more than one website.

    And Flipit, I’m only borderline tacky? Give me some credit!.

    oh yeah? well here’s what I don’t get….no one ever got back to recapping Veronica Mars….I mean, just cause it was cancelled????? Not even the season (series)finale???????? Damn, that’s harsh……POOR V……

    Um… what’s wrong with sending someone to a site that recaps a show that isn’t being recapped here? TWOP also recaplets it, FYI.

    It’s not like we’re sending them over there to read about a show they can get here.

    (BTW I really do hope you guys do Pirate Master… that show is ripe with morons! The more people making fun of them better!)

    Awwww Tink, thanks for the compliment. I know what you mean about hearing the writer’s voice in your head. KrankMills pretty much pwns most of my favorite TV show narrators on a regular basis.

    As for PirateMaster, the name alone begs for ridicule.
