With the end of 2005 looming, we thought we’d take a look back at the following year of TVgasm, starting with January. The month started off with a bang — or a butt, really — as Randy Moss fake-mooned Green Bay Packer fans, causing Fox commentator Joe Buck to balk, “That is a disgusting act by Randy Moss. And it’s unfortunate that we have that on our air live. That is digusting by Randy Moss.” Of course, the rest of us found it funny and proudly embraced this crude endzone celebration.

January also brought us the stunning season premiere “event” of 24, which in its fourth season introduced us to such wonderful characters as Curtis Manning, Edgar Stiles, Joseph Heller, Behrooz Araz, and of course the late, great Dina Araz.

Perhaps the biggest TVgasm story of January though was the outing of Bachelorette suitor Fabrice. When a very, very reliable source told us that he’d actually dated Fabrice, we immediately posted the scoop, and the rest is history. Soon, photos of Fabrice surfaced on sites like ChicagoPride.com and BigMuscle.com, and the national media took notice as outlets such as People, E! Online, and Us Weekly hopped on the story. Fabrice himself never confirmed nor denied the rumor, but his shirtless Friendster photos and BigMuscle profile have since evaporated. Yeah, that’s right. We caused a scandal. We’re cool.

Oh, and TVgasm received its first cease and desist order after madeyoulaugh posted FHM photos of Teri Hatcher.

    Lest we forget the introduction of Constantine last January- my eyes still burn! He tried to sing some sexy Christmas Carol on Regis and Kelly last week. Ahh- the horror!

    Speaking of Constantpreen, thanks Kelley, now I need a shower ;) I can not WAIT for the new American Idol season.

    Maybe they will bring Constantine back like Survivor did with Steph and Bobby Jon. Yea!

    Oh Svan, it’s the Holiday Season. Surely you can muster some warmth in your heart for a little TVgasm self-adulation!

    B-Side, I just think it’s been done over and over. People can go through the archives for this. Take some time off if your shows are and have fun with friends and family. Just tell that Project Runway dude to get on his recap! ;)

    Just wanted to say Randy Moss mooning was AWESOME! I am a huge Vikings fan, and despise the Pack. Thanks for bringing back those fond memories of sending the Pack home in the playoffs. (Too bad we lost the next round) GO VIKES!
