We have had magical Christmas Elves working on the site all week, but they surprised us this morning and put our server and WordPress update into effect. So we were gone all day. WHY GOD?!?

I am now done freaking out and crying and rocking back and forth so that I can get our very special group Best and Worst article done tonight. In the meantime, read! Let me know here in the comments if anything is messing up for you. We should be running faster now and able to accommodate all the new Gasmii that 2011 has brought without crashing twice a day!!

UPDATE: The comments and page numbering are still all jacked up. CAPTCHA not working either. OY! Working on it now. We are trying our best to get things in working order! Love to you guys! Oh, and don’t forget….

    Oh fark. Commenting still doesn’t work right. We are working on getting our login issues fixed. ;( Looks like you can’t login unless you are using a username and password. OH LAWD. We’re on it.

    Plus 1) You can’t see all the comments (I was checking the T&T comments were it said 98 but I could only see the first 8) and 2) the comments are showing up in reverse order (the newest at the top)

    I can see the 1st pages of everything but if I click 2 or next or any other number it just has the login box and the My Damn Channel thing but nothing else. No matter how many times you reload or flush cache.

    I have XP and Firefox if that helps.

    Something is janky with the comments. I can see comments in the scroll on the front page, click on them and they aren’t in the recap. In fact, I clicked on one to get here and it is gone.

    I also noticed that mass amounts of comments from before the outage are not gone.

    Ok… and that comment I just posted is now number 1 of 13. Numbers 2 of 13 and 3 of 13 where there before I did the comment. And where are the other 10?

    The comments aren’t the only thing messed up. Some pages of the recaps aren’t showing up. I can only read the first page of this.

    Still having a lot of trouble with the pages running as they should. Ads appear on an additional page by themselves (with no page numbers to go somewhere else,) and comments are also separated.

    Perhaps the Elves were feeling spiteful about something.

    Also, every few pages I’m having Virus Threats Detected. I have never had that happen at TVGasm before, so I’m a bit concerned. Is there some kind of website condom you can get?

    @cattyfan Go to malwarebytes.org RIGHT NOW and get the FREE version, install it, and run it.

    (It works just as good as the pay version which just has fancy stuff you don’t really need)

    Anyway as soon as you get it installed, do a check for updates so you get their latest database and then tell it to scan.

    It will probably find whatever bad thing you caught. (Which you didn’t catch from here.)

    After it’s got all the bad stuff off your computer, clean out your cache and history and stuff, reboot, then come back here and see if you’re still getting virus threats.

    And if you’re using Internet Explorer, stop doing that and get Firefox. It’s way safer.

    Looks like comments are wacky again. When I click on a comment for T&T on the front page, it takes me to the recap but the comment isn’t there. I noticed there were a couple of comments in the front page thingie that weren’t on the actual recap. Also, there are extra pages on recaps still. For example, if you look at the november comment recap, the recap is only 3 pages but it says there are 5 pages. The last two is a repeat of what was already showing on the sidebar (ads and quotes).

    But the comments do seem to be appearing in the right order! Progress! :) Flipit, everything you do here at the ‘gasm is very much appreciated. Hope you have a wonderful new year.

    Ok that is weird. When I posted my comment above, there was only 1 comment on this recap. It was the first one where Flipit is saying he is commented on his own post to see if he could comment. Now there are tons (according to date/time, they were there before but I just didn’t see them).
