A History Lesson From Robocop

weller

It's not very often that I get a chance to pimp some Roman History on TVgasm, so I was excited when I learned about a new interview with Peter Weller at 24 The Podcast. What does Peter Weller have to do with ancient Rome? Actually, he's hosting the new series Rome: Engineering An Empire, and take it from somebody who just this weekend made a joke about Hadrian's Wall: this is very exciting indeed. The interview is actually very interesting (watch out for the annoying, overly-loud rock intro) and Peter Weller also talks a lot about his character, Christopher Henderson, from this past season of 24.

Isn't Peter Weller like a professor of history or something?

Weller is a lecturer at Syracuse University. I saw him on a documentary about the Roman Empire on the History Channel. Here is what Wikipedia had to say:
"Weller also holds a Masters Degree in Roman and Renaissance Art, and is an occasional lecturer at Syracuse University on the subject of Hollywood and the Roman Empire. He was a featured commentator on the History Channel's documentary, Rome: Engineering an Empire, which debuted September 5, 2005."
