Take Jack's Breath Away -
by madeyoulaugh
Just a little something to keep you equally as distracted during tonight’s episode of 24 as I have been for the past 4 1/2 seasons...Jack is always out of breath. Last week, J-Unit came by to watch 24 on my sexy new HD flat screen, which makes me cool. During the show I mentioned to him the Jack Bauer breathing problem, assuming everyone had noticed, but he never had. I thought I'd pass on this tidbit to you guys to see if I was the only person who's noticed that Jack can be standing still in a hallway, sitting on a chair, or simply driving a car and for some reason, 80% of the time, he is totally out of breath. He has the breathing cadence of Edgar Styles after a box of ring dings. This may seem like a random post right now, but tonight when you watch, it will echo in your mind and make complete sense.
Enhancing your television viewing since 2004.

Not to mention that fact that he constantly talks in the loud, ragged, breathy whisper. Drives me bonkers. Love the show, hate the whisper. I always wonder if he ate a breath mint before taping, because surely he is blowing some wicked air on whomever he's in the scene with.

BTW, it is the sexy new HD flat screen, along with the bitching HD DVR that make MYL cool, not the fact that I was watching TV with him.
But yes, Jack is out of beath. I don't know if that completely explains the constant hoarse whisper, but it has to mean something...

Yes, appologies if that was unclear. It is the sexy TV that makes me cool, NOT J-Unit. I mean, Im not quite cool enough to get B-Side around, but his rider is such a bitch to fulfill.

The whispering drives me crazy too! Not only Jack Bauer but Wayne Palmer is a whisperer too.

According to Kiefer's interview in Rolling Stone, he has "never ever tried to quit smoking."
I think we will be listening to his panting for the next three years...

Lotsa ladies dig the whisper, which may or may not be related to the smoking. From what I hear, ol' Kief can barely put down the ciggies long enough to shoot a scene.
Hmph. I've had a HD TiVo for like 3 years, but do I get to be cool? Only in my own mind, I guess.
