The new season of Survivor really snuck up on me, so I didn't have time to do the customary contest, but that doesn't mean we can't get in the mood for The Amazing Race. Yes, in one week, Phil is back, and now that the teams are back down to a more manageable size, we expect a return to greatness. To celebrate the return of The Amazing Race(Check local listings.), we though we would have a contest for our readers to pick the winners. If you missed out on your chance to win authentic TVgasm merchandise from any of our other challenges, you still have time to take part in this little giveaway fever we've been having the last month or so.
The Rules:
1. Go to the Amazing Race 9 homepage, and review the teams.
2. Choose the three teams you think will finish one, two, and three overall.
3. E-mail your answers to amazingrace@tvgasm.com, with the subject Amazing Race Challenge.
The winner, to be announced at the end of the season , will be the person who gets the three final teams, and the overall winner of The Amazing Race correct. In the event that more than one person gets the correct answers, the tiebreaker will be who picked the second and third place teams correctly as well. If more than one person has all three correct, the person who e-mailed their answers first will be awarded the winner. For their great victory, the lucky individual will receive one free item from the TVgasm store.
Only one entry per person/e-mail address will be accepted, and TVgasm will never give away your name or e-mail to anybody. Entries will be accepted until 9PM Eastern on Tuesday, February 28. Any questions or comments e-mail amazingrace@tvgasm.com.

I can't wait for the new season and to join the commenting! The archived recaps I've read are absolutely hilarious, and the comments right on the money. The Amazing Race is my all-time favorite show. And, it looks like it is going to be really good this time. Yay!

Yay bluebell! This IS the best show on TV. We are gonna have way too much fun. Since we aren't on the show, we may as well be here. As they say, if you can't beat 'em, snark 'em.
Incidentally, those look like the Korean ladies from the bitchy nail parlor in Seinfeld. "You brought a spy?"

Lizardqueen, you are so right! If not traveling the world with Phil, then signed in to tvgasm! But, I would love to be on the Amazing Race, not only for the great travel opportunities, but also to show the public that speaking a foreign language does NOT mean addingo an "o" to everyo wordo!!! ERG!!

yea - Phil package, real TAR contestants, real TAR places - on airplanes, trains, elephants and camels in real foreign countries - Tuesday's will never be the same!!! Can't wait for the first episode and B-side's recap

If not for TVGasm I wouldn't have learned the art of watching Amazing Race via the PhilCrotchCam. I now focus on it whenever it's in site.
