I agree. What a waste of time. This guy, what's his name? Corey? I don't think he's lying but I think he's a loser. If he did score with Paula, it's certainly the best thing that's ever happened in his little life... and like all losers, he's trying desperately to spin this thing into a career. I have to admit that I can't figure out why Paula would even look at this guy though. I mean, if she wants to get layed, all she has to do is go to one of the clubs and get picked up or except one of the 100s of propositions I'm sure she gets on a regular basis. She doesn't need to reach to the bottom of the barrel and scoop out some scum to satisfy her itch.

As far as ethics go; Yeah, it was wrong of her to get involved with this guy. It does take some credibility away from an already questionably unethical show. If there is a next season for American Idol, I don't think that Paula will be a part of it.

After the fifth time they showed Corey recording his album, I turned it off. It was obvious he agreed to do this in exchange for publicity for his album. Journalism at its finest.

And using Corey's thug friends as "credible" witnesses? Um yeah. Something tells me they took them to Sizzler for the buffet in exchange for them corroborating Corey's claims.

I don't think those seven contestants they trotted out were semi-finalists. I don't remember them at all. I think they were kids that made it to the Hollywood round, but nothing beyond that.

My favorite moment came after Quinnones spent most of the program talking about how Paula was 40 in 2003 -- Corey's mother proved she can't do math and mentioned Paula was 38.

They pissed me off in the first 5 seconds of the show when they announced the loser of AI. I tivo the west coast feed and don't watch it till later. What did the loser of last nights show have to do with that piece of shit they call "Shocking Revelation". I am dropping ABC from my satallite subscription.

and as for the whiny semi-finalists bitching about how 'unfair' this is: since when does fairness have anything to do with success in the music business? isn't the judges' role on this show to pick favorites and influence the audience anyway? oh, by the way: sleeping your way to the top is actually a pretty realistic and well-worn career strategy in show business. and if paula was pulling so many strings for corey clark, wouldn't she have been able to keep him from getting booted?

Listen, regardless of the idiocy of Corey Clark, regardless of the obvious publicity stunt, if Paula gets booted from Idol, that's huge. This 'special' will have done exactly what it set out to do. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I kind of liked Corey's songs on the show. They were much better than that absolute horsesh-t dreck that the contestants sing each week. The whole enterprise is absolutely stupid, so why should the PrimeTime show be any different? I found it entertaining.

Robin, thanks to Lost and Desperate Housewives, ABC isn't in the bottom of the ratings anymore. And CBS news does worse than ABC news most of the time if you're just looking at the news ratings. But in any event, I doubt Paula will get dumped from AI. AI's ratings are huge, the contestants sang to her and presented her with flowers last night, and it's unlikely that an unsupported charge from one disgraced former contestant plugging a book will cause the network, AI producers, or a large segment of the public to turn on her.

A couple of observations about this "show." First, I found it very funny that they started out saying something like "As you already saw Scott got voted out tonight...." They know that most of the country watches Idol, so they just assumed that everyone in thier audience already knew who was voted out.

Next, the purpose of this wasn't to get Paula booted from Idol, it was to shut down Idol all together. Any show that goes up against Idol losses. Just ask ABC, they took Alias from it's Sunday night spot and put it on Wednesday night against the Idol results show, and viewers for Alias have dropped off the face of the earth. No one on any of the other three networks can match Idol's ratings. So, this was done in hopes of bringing Idol down, but I'd guess it probably will get even more people to watch Idol, just to watch and see if Paula flirts with anyone else if nothing else.

ABC soon will be LOST. How many stories can you tell about people on an Island without becoming Gilligan. I dumped this show after 5 episodes. And Housewives is a desperate Sex & The City wannabe.

My only concern is that AI stick with Paula. To have her get booted for something like this is ridiculous. The show just wouldn't be the same. You know that Simon has dipped his wick in the talent pool each year.

I'm sorry for anyone who watched this show, and incredibly greatful that I didn't. I can't stand that the result show takes a half-hour that could be summed up in 5 minutes. The thought of an hour of airtime wasted on this asshole is completely asinine. Who cares? He didn't win- so no harm, no foul.

Paula has already skipped on next season, so it's more likely AI will refuse to address the White Snoop's charges. Also, the phone records and medicine bottle weren't the actual ones --- they were illustrations, counterfeits intended to back up the story. I believe the kid boinked Paula, but for him to come out and besmirch her name after all she did for him in the name of self-promotion just goes to show what an ingrate he is. I hope it's the last we hear of him.

other than that, it was wonderful to see a few clips of paula clapping like a happy walrus. HTT hot.

While the program itself was beyond boring and lame, I'm happy I watched it because if I hadn't I wouldn't have been able to watch Randy rocking out with Journey in his pink jacket and leather pants. I haven't laughed like that in years. Thanks Randy.

It was reported ealier this season that ABC is considering canning both PrimeTime Live and 20/20 and going without a newsmagazine in the fall. This was just a desperate attempt by ABC News to pull in ratings and try to prove the newsmagazines are viable.

And I agree with those of you that the photos of Randy from his Journey days was the best part of the whole excruciating hour. My husband and I nearly fell off the bed laughing.

ABC has gone beyond pathetic now. To call out the highest ratings show out of all the channels is just stupid! so many people watch this show and the ones that watched their Fallen Idol special will tune into AI more each week. They might have upset some people, (Paula) but come on...this is just a ratings boost as far as FOX is concerned.

I hope I never see Corey, AKA idiot boy, on television again and I don't care if what Paula does in her private. I always assumed that Simon was doing her and I have a theory that the reason she takes pain pills is because Randy tried to do her and crushed her fragile little spine with his tremendous weight. But that aside, it was still wrong of her to help idiot boy to pick his clothes and songs.

ABC got big ratings last night, which was what they were going for. But AI has been getting huge ratings twice a week and will continue to do so. If ABC was hoping for more than just one night of ratings (destroying some competition in the longterm) they certainly can't succeed with unsubstantiated allegations from one disgraced and forgotten former contestant who is obviously trying to get a career going without actual talent. AI fans have no need to worry.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned how HORRIBLE Seacrest looked in the clips. What was with his hair?

Corey is a liar. It's plain to see that he's using the voice messages and video clips in the wrong context to make us think that Paula came on to him. I believe that the "evidence" is truly innocent, and had nothing to do with Corey's fantasies.

It's not Paula's style to secretly help contestants behind the scenes. I'm shocked to think that anyone would believe that Paula would stoop so low, and go against her belief in fairness in the competition to do this. Corey was up against Ruben, Clay and Kimberly. He didn't stand a chance in hell of winning.

Yes, it's pretty clear that Corey, a disqualified, bitter contestant had his own motives for writing that book.

I absolutely believe that Paula did the things he accused her of. I think he's an idiot and an ass hole for going public with it, but you can't argue the facts. How could he use that voice message out of context? Did you even hear what it said? Even if they didn't actually sleep together there was still something going on between them.

While Corey's clearly a total slimeball, who's showing Paula a lot of disrespect by outing her when he claims she was so helpful with his career, he sure had a lot of convincing evidence that there was an affair.
And while Paula's lawyer issued a statement calling him an "admitted liar," she has yet to deny one iota of what he's alleged.
She's been keeping pretty mum on the whole matter, which I think is very suspicious. Anyone woman in their right mind accused of somthing so vile as sleeping with Corey Clark would be shouting from every roof top that they never did any such thing. The fact that she declined to do so prior to the stupid Primetime Live report, and after it aired as well, only makes her look like she has something to hide.
Saying "I'm not justifying his claims with an answer," really does nothing to help her cause.

Got Sweeps? Why else would ABC let Primetime Live spend an entire hour hating on another network other than scoring extra points off of this loser’s attempt to make a name for himself upon the release of his book and CD during sweeps month? I think Corey, Quiñones, and ABC are a lot grosser than Paula because it is totally common and quite frankly, obvious that up and coming wannabe "stars" are be groomed by wealthy and famous industry people who will help build a career while gettin’ a little booty on the side.

I mean, Mariah Carey and Tommy Matola, Carmen Electra and Prince, Michael Douglass and Catherine Zata Jones and oh so many countless others have made this “you rub my back and I’ll make your career” arrangement before. Maybe if Paula had been more clear to Corey about the true nature of their “business arrangement” and really broke it down for the poor doof in the most simple terms, Corey might still be rocking the lights fantastic with Sista-Girl. In my head the conversation would have went a little something like this:

Paula: “Ok Corey, it’s here’s the deal, I may be breaking some rules but you’re hot and sporting major BFD so how about I make you my toy and hand you a career on a silver platter.” “All you have to do is play nice, look pretty, and keep your mouth shut.” “Hell, I’ll even throw in a cell phone and maybe after a 6 month review if you are really good you’ll get a hot little car to match your hot not so little body?”

Corey was just too stupid to understand the opportunity before him. Or maybe ultimately he was just so uninteresting to Paula that when it got out he had an arrest record for assaulting his own sister, Paula had become as unimpressed with him as did American Idol and kick his tired ass to the curb..

Besides, let’s face it, this is going to do less for Corey’s career in the long run than sustainable damage to Paula’s career. Talented or not, Paula is always going to have more credibility among industry people than some no-name marginally talented half-brotha trying to pimp voicemail messages and store receipts into some conflated story about being screwed over by some famous lady after bumping their nasties together and getting dumped.

I agree with Bill. Someone surely would have seen Paula and Corey out in public. And Corey never would have been able to leave the mansion without the other contestants or the security guards seeing them. Paula IS nice to everyone, not just to Corey. He sang and then hugged her one time and she liked the attention - big deal. Would he have been so bold if they were really carrying on a secret love affair? That would be pretty stupid, wouldn't it?

He is so full of crap when he says he sang a secret message to her when the group was singing "I owe it all to you". And the taped voice messages???? When Paula said to Corey not to talk to the media, I believe she was referring to his being kicked off the show for the previous arrest, and nothing more. She did not want his reputation to get tarnished even more. I think she saw potential in his singing ability and tried to help him, but not any more than she helped any of the other contestants.
