the whole time i was watching this i just kept thinking, why is dominique still here. she's one of those people that just kind of slid through, while more talented people like aimee and claire got kicked off for one bad picture.

Dominique is still there coz producers LOVE her. she's what Top Model is all about. What separates it from other model shows. the campiness of it all and why people tune in to watch every season. for the one wtf girl to get kicked out finally!

Top 3 for me would be Kat, Anya and Fatima.

I think the final three should be Whit, Anya and Kat but I have a feeling Tyra does not like all white final threes (even though the winner will be white for sure because of the rotation of race in winners that I am sure everyone has noticed) so Fatima will have one of those spots. Anya because of the speaking thing or Kat because of the personality thing may be going home earlier than they should.
Just a hunch. I like Anya a lot even though she is as dumb as a box of hair. kat is cute but I know nothing about her at all. Whit grows on me as a model but turns me off as a person. I confess to being a Fatima lover. I think she is more socially inadequate than bitchy. But that's me. Dominique is staying more because the judges like to make fun of her than because she deserves to be here.

i also speak italian and had not a damn clue what anyone was attempting to say until kat's commercial lol (in other words, it was hysterrical.. i especially appreciated the 5 different variations of the word "quando" which i assumed would be a pretty easy word to sound out.)

anyway i truly cant stomach whitney.. and i say that literally.. my stomach turns at the sight of that girl .. her personality is so irritating n shes so jealous of the others and full of her "plus size" self at the same time
i would definitely be for a plus size girl winning for once on this show but whitney is NOT the one ..im sorry.. she shouldnt go further this season just to prove a point.. i really do not think she is good. sorry hoolia i kno u love her but thats my honest opinion

my top 3 are fatima anya n katarzyna
(and think tyra was wayyy out of line rude when kat said "kata what?" n tyra said "Watever" )

I truly hope Katarzyna won't keep on pushing her "personality" on Tyra. Coz Tyra thinks she's infallible and will cut her just to prove it. I'm hoping for Kat to win this one. but I'll settle for an Anya win as well. All the rest are just "meh."

kelseym13 - RIP Aimee. She definitely shot way better pictures than the majority of the girls who are still hanging around.

Chibby - I was thinking about how well Dom fills that role. My feelings about Bianca from Cycle 9 were pretty much the same as my feelings for Dominique. Hopefully Dominique will follow suit and be cut in the next episode!

Doriangz - Love how you fess up to being a Fatima lover like it's something to be embarassed about! And agreed about Tyra taking race into consideration - she definitely does.

Angelbayyb - Thanks for the tipoff on Gaitano - I've never heard that! Whit definitely becomes the green-eyed monster too often for my liking. Still, she's only 20 and I'm taking it as a sign of immaturity and competitiveness. Hopefully she can outgrow some of her self-centeredness and will be more balanced in a few years. I still think she takes great pictures and has the most expressive and versatile face of the bunch.

And I was over Lauren by this episode. Her blase attitude about being in freaking Rome was the nail in the coffin for me.

I'm hoping Anya will win, but I don't think CG will want her "accent" in their commercials, in which case I hope it's Kat then. And yeah I've noticed the rotating race trend too.

AlsoHoolia, I'm in Chicago, I nearly cried when I saw snow flurries on the forecast for Monday. This Jersey girl needs to get back home lol.

I agree with Doriangz... Fatima isn't a bitch, she just doesn't know how to act around people.

I think Fatima is the most striking out of all the girls there. She's definately the most modelesque in person. Anya has the best pictures though and looks like a model when she's got her makeup right. I like Kat, too, but she doesn't get much camera time so not much to say there.

I know most ANTM winners don't get all that high into the industry but I think Fatima has more potential to get in than anyone that's ever been on the show.

I agree with Chibby, I think Tyra will cut Kat now because she made her look bad calling her out on the name pronuciation.

Whitney- what's up with her attitude lately?

Dominic- they really messed her up with the haircut.

Hell to the YES on the final two. I hope Whitney's out next week. She's annoying and a big, fat (pun totally intended) know-it-all. And she's not as good as she thinks. She's better than the previous chubbies (although I still think Toccara would model circles around Whitney), that's about it.

She was milking it. What was she sick from? Food, jet lag, STD? An illness without a cause or a symptom (tired is not an acceptable symptom when you just flew internationally).

Did you catch Kat doubled over in laughter while Lauren's commercial was airing at panel?

Yes. Made me remember that Kat was stil on the show. She's gonna get cut for being boring and unmemorable.

Are you just as confused as I am as to how Dominique is somehow still on the show?

No. She's this season's "bitch", even though Whitney is trying to steal her title every week.

Is the Italian actor from the commercials a saint for dealing with all the girls?

He's not that cute, so I imagine he was hired for his extremely patient attitude.

Fatima, Anya (the judges seem to love her and she's starting to get the winner's edit), and..damn who's left? I'll go with Kat.

Just wanted to add that I agree with Angel and Chibby. Tyra is getting ruder every season. I have a unique name that is only 4 letters long and people either can't or refuse to pronounce it correctly. The sad thing is that my name rhymes with a very common American name but just has a different first letter and that throws everything off. So I feel Kat's pain. That said, please stop correcting Tyra if you want a chance at being ANTM, Kat. Tyra does NOT accept being wrong. At all.

And words cannot express how happy I was to see Lauren get the boot. So tired of her stank attitude. Hoolia, you totally called her bored-as-hell expression on the shuttle ride. For a free trip to Rome, I would be Tyra's personal assistant. (yes, that's how much I love to travel.)

I know you love Whitney, but I'm so with Angel about Whitney's irritating personality. She acts so entitled, like the judges are discriminating against her when she doesn't get good marks at panel or doesn't win challenges. Whit, you suck.

Anya is not pretty to me at all, but she takes amazing pictures. If her runway walk is on point in the final episode(I don't remember), then she will probably win this thing. Fatima is the prettiest of them in person and I think Tyra likes her so...final two for her.

Kat doesn't have enough of a personality to win. She'll be in the final 3, though because there are no other negatives.

Who thinks Nigel is doing Anya . . . I hate to be conspiratorial, but for reals, it looks it too me, like when he was critiquing her commercial, Tyra's looking at him, like, "OK, that was convincing. Hell to the no!" He get's that gushy excitment of people in love, and it's easier to be sunny and nice when intriguing with someone (I know, is that a verb) but I like Anya, I can't see her winning tho, despite what might be happin'

Fatima was convincing in her final smile to be a cover girl, so race or no, she might take this, and I agree she's like Iman, but she's not as statuesque.

I like Whit, but don't know why she can't rope the fake, Dom is dragalish, and Kat is blah, unless they're holding her back and she's going to explode next week, I think she's toast after "giving Tyra a lesson" that she failed, BTW! Talk about bitcharina!!! Great recap Hool!

Final three: Whitney, Kat and Fatima, if whitney gets her shit together about the fake thing.

Dom or Whitney are going next week, hopefully Dominique because she is this season's Jade fo sho and Jade left around this time (I think).

Anywho, I like Whitney regardless of her weird fakeness; she doesn't come off as fake when she's not in front of panel or doing a challenge. I think what she changes herself to make her seem more modelesque when really she should just be herself.

If whitney doesn't get it together it'll be Anya, but she won't win because of her weird accent. I predict that it'll be Kat and Fatima in the end.

If Kat didn't shoot herself in the leg by correcting Tyra, she's my pick to win. I think she is just amazingly beautiful. I thought her commercial was easy and natural. I hate that Tyra called it boring. I mean I can see where compared to the other trainwrecks it was boring in it's naturalness. UGH.

She reminds me of Juliette Binoche. I think, is that the one from Chocolat?

Anyhow, Fatima may be beautiful but she doesn't take very good photos. Are you all forgetting that for most of her shoots she's done nothing but bare her teeth like a cornered animal? She looks like Iman but she doesn't MODEL like Iman.

I think Whitney's nerves come across like bitchiness at shoots and at panel. If she can just calm down she might make it further. Which would be great, I'd like to see that Tyra is actually open minded about size. Who am I kidding, plus-sized girls on ANTM are like the token black girls they always throw on the Bachelor. They keep them around long enough to be politically correct and ax them as soon as they can.

Hoolia - as always, totally loved your recap. I would love to sit and watch TV with you, I think you'd be a lot of fun to hang out with.

I don't like Fatima at all. I think she's too thin, and I really don't think she's that pretty. And her personality kind of sucks. Not as bad as Dom, of course, but still with the sucking. I hope she doesn't win. If her or Dom win this thing, I might have to boycott this show. lol.

Btw, I totally agree about the way they're judging. There's no focus at all, and they totally criticize one girl for the same thing that they praise another one for. It's ridiculous. Kat by far had the best commercial, but she didn't get first place? WTF? And I totally thing they're too hard on Whit. Yeah, that commercial was pretty fake, but still, I thought it was a lot better than Dom's.
