Claire's faceplant was idiotic. What was she thinking? I think there was some creative editing around the Mr. J comment about getting onto the plastic. My theory is he said it to another girl after Claire's belly flop.

Also, why no comment on the back and forth between Ty Ty and Paulina over Kat's name? I was cheering when Paulina actually corrected Tyra, then dying when Tyra continued to create new and wrong pronunciations.

And another thing...has it ever occurred to you that ANTM doesn't capture every freakin' moment of these girls' lives and/or doesn't show every minute of footage they do capture for us to see? Things can happen that we don't see. Hence, the reason for the "Things You Didn't See" episode that happens every. single.season. Therefore, maybe Dominique isn't lying when she recaps something. Maybe, just maybe...we just haven't been shown footage that supports her view.

i'm going to guess that hoolia's aware that ANTM isn't a 24/7 feed into the house. that's probably why story editors are mentioned in more than one of her recaps.

ive gotta agree with hoolia that dominique is a liar - whitney wasn't acting at all like dominique was describing and i bet that if the show had ANY footage of this, they would air it - a point made in this recap. (and, for the record, i'm not even pro-whitney)

if you're looking for unbiased recapping, you've stumbled upon the wrong site. i can read a straight up show summary almost anywhere, but read tvgasm for the snarky insight. as long as a recapper is accurately relaying the events of the show, i love the snark and opinion, even if I don't necessarily agree with it.

and here's the inevitable response that turns up whenever any recapper on this site gets slammed by a hater: if you don't like it, don't read it.

about the show - i'm feeling like kat and her new haircut are a force to be reckoned with! i'd love it if she flew under the radar for most of the season and then managed to win it all. keep up the good work, hoolia!

I tossed a pen at the TV when Claire got cut! Lauren & Dominique need to go - Lauren because there is no hope for anything but still pics and Dominique because she's a total whack job. We'll see how she does when it comes to having to read/memorize a script - bet she's like Jade and can't read. Tyra always murdering someone's name really annoys me. The name isn't that hard! Hope Paulina slaps her next time she makes something up instead of pronouncing it correctly.

i know lauren won't win, and i know she won't suddenly develop self-esteem, but i really like her. haha i'm probably the only one. i usually root for the awkward ones, becuz i relate to them the most.

i do agree that she deserved to be in the bottom two this week, but i think it was right for claire to go. claire has never had the top picture ever (at least i don't think she has) while lauren has been in the top a few times. add the fact that claire held up the photoshoot and her ungracious bottom two "win" last week, it just adds up as claire's time to go. maybe if claire didn't bodyslam into the plastic this week, lauren would have probably been sent home.

and i really loved this photoshoot. as an editorial, it would suck, but these pics would work as ads, which is what i think these pics were aiming for. i mean mr jay nor the judges complained about not seeing the clothes. and mr jay's emphasis during the photoshoot was body lines and face. this whole flowy, liquidy, blurry photoshoot reminds me of something nick knight would do.

and regarding the go-sees -- i think they are following the last new york's cycle of ANTM of having go-sees in the beginning of the competitin and one at the end. remember the season with tocarra and eva and anne? they had go-sees with NY designers as groups, and again in Japan individually. so i think we'll still get our chance to see the girls get lost.

I totally agree that Claire should've stayed and Lauren should've gone home. I really do like Lauren, but it's clear she's not going to have the skills she needs by the end of the show. She complains about not being able to walk in heels, but hello! She's been in the loft for how long now? It's called practice. Something she should probably be doing. As for the self-esteem issue, well, I have to sympathize with her there, because it's ridiculously hard to grow that much confidence in that short an amount of time. At least I think so. But it is going to screw her over in the end. I think that this week was her time to go.

The thing that made me go "huh?" this week (or well, one of the many things) was that Tyra said that Whit's film blew her way away, but yet, she got fourth place? What? That makes no sense to me. If her film blew Tyra away (something that she didn't really say to any of the other girls, at least not excitedly) then why couldn't she find a shot that was better than something that would get her fourth place? I don't know, just a thought.

Dominique and Fatima are crazy. Especially Dommie. I really don't understand how she's still there. I don't find anything attractive about her whatsoever. Her smile and her crazy eyes make my eyes bleed just a little. Ew. She has provided numerous WTF moments though, and those are always fun. It's always great to hear her speak and hear how supremely stupid she is.

Love your recaps-they make me laugh -i think claire needed to go but lauren should of been first-her temper is annoying-she'll probably go next week--but who knows?

Lauren needs to get over herself. She's put herself in the position to be made fun of, she should just revel in it & be a diva (like, ugh, Dominique) or pull an Ebony & get out. She needs to go.

Claire was robbed. Her picture was no better or worse than any of the other messed up pictures this week. I'm really starting to question the photo choices of "Executive Producer" Tyra. OK, that's a lie, I've been questioning her choices all along. It's like she chooses pictures based on her feelings per "model".

I totally agree about the pictures Tyra picks. I remember when Tyra said to one girl (not this season, but fairly recently) that she had other good pictures but she picked this one to show something specific that she was doing wrong. It made me so mad - why wouldn't you pick the best picture?? Oh yeah, because Tyra is a teacher, a giver of knowledge that models cannot succeed without!!!

Kat tar zeena (if that's how you say it). I don't think it's that hard to say...Tyra is always trying to sound witty and funny, but usually ends up sounding goofy! Lauren must go! It's just not going to happen....so sad :*(! Dominique has too much...face? The eyebrows, the hair, it's just...too much manly face. Not soft, or friendly, or fierce...just..."manface". Technical difficulties prevented me from getting last weeks episode up on time, I was out of town, yadda yadda yadda... I'm writing this week's recap as we speak and it should be up within a day!
