Bids Dig Big for Sigged Pig - TVgasm

by madeyoulaugh

pig brother.jpgLooks like we brought home the bacon with our ebay sale of the now famed ceramic pig.

Turns out this pig is almost as valuable than Adams spare-rib. One week after going online the auction block, the pig sold for $401, which is nothing to snout at.

I almost avoided posting this, but I thought, "What the hell, might as well ham it up." That's all I wanted to share. just a quick update article. So I will end it here as to be brisket this post.

Wow, $401. That person really wanted it. But what I want to know is why they bid so many times in a row. That just seemed odd to me. On another note, I saw a picture someone took from the wrap party of a person holding their ceramic pig and it is not nearly as big as I thought it would be. The pigs in the Piggy Bank Veto Challenge were much larger. Plus, I read an interview Holly did and she said she signed something like 500 pigs at the wrap party. I don't know if she was exaggerating but I don't think autographed Big Brother pigs are as rare as you made them out to be. Congratulations on finding someone dumb... I mean rich enough to pay over $400 for a ceramic pig. BTW, I think Marvin is mad you are making money off of his signature. You should donate some of the proceeds to charity...or Marvin. Your choice. :-)

There were definitely not 500 pigs at the wrap party. I would say that at most, there were about 15 or 20 signed pigs.

Is Marvin mad that Madeyoulaugh made money off his signature? Or is Marvin mad that Marvin didn't make money off his signature. Anytime you sign something, you gotta expect that it'll bring in some coin. Baseball players don't get pissed when people sell their signed cards. If I were him, I'd be flattered - not greedy.

Here are the interviews I read:

I believe you about the number of pigs. Maybe madeyoulaugh was right and Holly really is retarded. lol

There could have been a total of about 250 ceramic figures, but most of them were not the pig that was signed here. They had a bunch of them off to the side, and there was probably about 25 or so of the pig that got signed (approximately the size of a football). There were many other ceramics including smaller pigs (size of a softball) and many gnomes, like on previous seasons.

I feel bad for Marvin because he seems to have a chip on his shoulder, but I think he believes that he got portrayed badly so it will cut down an any endorsement deals. He'll be happy to know that in the end, he is going to be shafted no more than anybody else, and being on a reality show isn't necessarily going to get you a lot more auditions than you would have had before the show. but it sounds like he has the right idea. Get an agent, lawyer, and publicist, and take LA by storm.

Who would expect Holly to know how to count? Esepcially that high.

And about Marvin, I don't get it. He's an undertaker. Why is he acting all Hollywood? I'm so sick of these outta towners being on a reality show and then sticking around LA trying to break in to show business. Knock it off people!

Madeyoulaugh, don't you donate that money to anyone but your pocket!
