All Things Considered, She's Awesome -
by J-Unit
Wow! So THAT is what an episode of Big Brother is supposed to be like. This season has been horrible for me, but not because I think it was boring or anything like that. My main problem is that I hate Chilltown; in fact, I can't stand them. I would rather shave with a belt sander than think about watching the two of those jabs in the final. But when it is all said and done, I REALLY like the way they are playing the game. It's not that I like the lying and the backstabbing, although watching people turn on each other is fun. What really gets me is that they do all of the lying and the backstabbing and are getting away with it. I can't hate them for that, because the game is about coming up with a plan that will get you to the end, and Chilltown seems destined to make it no less than final four.
While the world may have talked about how great some of the other houseguests are, there is really only one person that I wanted to pull for at the beginning of the season, and that was Janelle. I wanted to see Danielle scheme and I wanted to see Jase go nuts, but it is Janelle that I wanted to win. Unfortunately, most of the last month and a half has had me cursing Janelle more than praising the way that she played. This week, Janelle picked me up a little bit with her game play, but with a whole house against her, is it too late for her to do anything about it?
Like always, we start with reactions to the eviction, and as you all saw, Howie's eviction was one for the ages. James sort of felt bad, but said that Howie trusted Boogie and Will, and he went out the door for it. Well, that explains what happens, but that's not going to make Howie feel any better. It still hurts when somebody lies to your face. If there was anything good about Howie's eviction, it's that Janelle hopefully has enough evidence to realize that Chilltown must not be trusted.
One of the things I laughed at when Howie left was how he got into Boogie's face and threw his hat. I laugh because Howie talked about how Marcellas went out like a little diva, but honestly, what did Howie do? Boogie then started acting tough, like he would actually have a chance against Howie, but I am glad that Howie didn't take the bait. Boogie knew that if Howie touched him, Howie would be gone. I can imagine he gets in these fights at his clubs too. He kicks somebody out and yells at them, but the only reason he has the guts is because he knows that while most people can kick his ass; his two bouncers are a completely different story.
By the way, I hope when Boogie is out of the house, somebody asks him how he can accuse Howie of going out like a chump, and then turn around and throw Howie's key (another action that Howie can't defend since he's not there anymore). But my biggest question would ask him why he was saying that he "didn't expect that at all". WHAT? Did Boogie actually see any of Big Brother 6? Did he not see how her tormented April by calling her Busto for days after he felt betrayed? He was surprised that Howie was emotional? Am I on the right planet? Next thing you know Boogie is going to walk in to an Olive Garden and say he didn't expect to get free soup and salad.
