Tonight, on Big Brother: Jeff finally gets some booger. Sort of.
It's my first Thursday show! Too bad Julie is dressed like a pool hussy in a billiards hall. Seriously, is that an 8 ball around her neck?

We'll find out shortly who leaves, BUT FIRST (!), there has been a little scrambling in the house as of late. We color in right at the end of the Veto ceremony, and Kevin is celebrating the completion of his plan and the imminent eviction of Jeff. I'd just like to get something out of the way right now: Is it bad that I kind of want Kevin to win? I mean, the guy pulled off a serious comeback from behind in a pretty impressive fashion, and he managed to turn Jeff against his own allies pretty handily. If he won the money, would it really be that bad? Plus, he kind of hates Lydia and Chima and Jessie and Natalie.

Jeff tells us that this scenario is something that he's always feared, and since Kevin isn't listening to reason (he's not?), Jeff's going to have to work hard to stay in the house.
Jordan tells us that this is totally just like the sadness you feel after you break up with a boyfriend or girlfriend. That is true; most of my exes have the opportunity to save themselves by competing in wacky competitions with astoundingly low budgets. I put them on in my apartment. My neighbors do not approve.
Natalie, meanwhile, takes all the credit and is all cocky in the stupid bed she's always laying in, which I wish would spontaneously burst into flames. She says dumb stuff like "gone in sixty seconds" and gloats a bunch, like she had anything to do at all with the events of the past ten days. Natalie tells us that sending Jeff out of the house will be "present to Jessie". I have a feeling that he would prefer if you sent him a jar of Vaseline and a mirror, but whatever.
Outside, Jordan cries because she feels responsible for what's happened. I really want to feel sorry for her and Jeff because I like them so much, but the fact of the matter is that if they had kept Russell in the house, they probably wouldn't be dealing with this right now. Jeff tries to cheer her up by delivering one of the cheesiest pep talks ever. "This is destiny. We were all put in this game for a reason, and I'm not here to win it," he says. Does he really think that this whole thing is preordained? Who is he, Jameka? And I know I've said it before, but the concept that the victories of Mike Boogie and Evel Dick were somehow written in the stars is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. It was DESTINY that Maggie and Ivette were the Final Two! God has a plan for Big Brother, you guys, which is why the good people always win. It's totally in the Bible.

Jordan tells Jeff that he's the only person in the house that deserves the money. I know that most people would like him to win, but this seems like pandering on the part of the show. There's a definite argument that Kevin (and possibly also Michele and Jordan) deserve to win the money too. As for Natalie, I'm still holding out hope that she will be the first person on Big Brother removed due to injury. Preferably something involving a bear attack.
Jeff tells us that Jordan wants to leave the house instead of him, and that he needs two votes to stay since Kevin will get to break any tie and send him home. Jeff approaches Natalie and she straight up tells him that there's no way she's going to vote to keep him. He tells her that if he stays than he'll compete with her and she'll have better odds at the next HOH competition. Of course, Natalie isn't really having it because she thinks she can win everything all of the time, despite the fact that she has won nothing whatsoever to date.

Schoonie, welcome to Thursdays!
But, I am going to have to VEHEMENTLY disagree with you! As you made mention in your review, Nat told Jeff point blank that she wasn't going to vote for him to stay, which she didn't, and she honored her alliance with Kevin, so basically, I don't see where she lied and didn't keep her word in this particular instance.
I know people don't like Natalie, but she directly told Jeff she wasn't voting for him, so where exactly did she lie? She DRed that if she was to keep him, his deal would have to be better than what he was offering, but rightly, she couldn't be sure where Michelle stood and Michelle never confirmed her agreement of throwing HOH (on the show, not sure about live feeds).
Again, with Russell being evicted, had Michelle done more than just be a bump on a log and actually mix it up with the other HGs, Jeff might still be in the house.
Don't blame Nat. Blame Michelle's inaction.

Hated to see Jeff leave =(
I'm on team anyone-but-Natalie, although I would like it to be Jordan or Kevin winning the game.

She lied because last week both she and kevin said he wouldn't be put up and he wouldn't be going home if Jeff took one of them off the block.
She is one lucky idiot...she was offered a guaranteed HOH this week, and thus wouldn't have to go up against two others in the competition. If BB doesn't have a worthless "have a complete guess for the answer" requiring no skill at all, she doesn't stand a chance at winning. So pissed....

I agree with you Schoonie. I read all the feed updates and of course, the show only shows bits and pieces. She lied up and down all week. I honestly had no clue what she was going to do and who she was going to be loyal too. If she wins, I may just have to boycott BB for a season. I don't think I've ever dislike a BB contestant so much. Now that cutie patootie Jeff is gone, guess I'm shooting for Michelle to win. She at least carried herself through the whole game.
Good job as always Schoonie!

Pappy44, by definition, Nat did lie in that case, however, it was a desperation move to stay in the house.
To me, the "I won't put you up" lie was gameplay, gameplay that all HGs have used and gameplay that was necessary in Nat/Kev's case. They had no other move to make.
Had Jordan not fanned Jeff's paranoia regarding Russell, and Michelle confirmed that they, indeed, had a final 4 plan, Jeff wouldn't have put up Russ and more than likely, Kev/Nat would be in the jury house currently.
Personally, I don't hold the Nat/Kev lie against them because they had no choice at the time, but they are no more culpable than Jeff not honoring his Final 4 deal with Russell and Michelle.

Gameplay / lie - it's semantics, what he was calling her out on during his speech was that she has said too many times to count that she only has her word in this game, he told her now was her chance to prove it and she didn't. SO she can dance all over the back yard with her HOH key - but she is dancing WITHOUT integrity.
Ugh I hate her so much.
I loved your recap Schoonie - it was the exact balm I needed to heal my post-Jeff wounds. What a disappointing episode.
I had the same feeling I had the night Janelle was evicted and we were left with the Friendsheep.

"While he gets mic'd up, we hear more talk from Natalie inside about how honest she is, and the fact that she's talking about it so much is how you know she's aware of what a hypocrite she is. My notes seriously say "No one cares, die in a fire," but I thought that might be too harsh to print. Oops!"
BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! I was thinking the exact same thing at that moment, and just about every moment she opens her mouth. Girl is is fingernails down a chalkboard.
@ Slutty: While I agree with your accessment of the outcome and the similarity to Jeff's backdooring of Russell, deceptive game play is still deceptive. If the lie that Kevin and Natalie made up about Russell and Michelle's final 2 deal hadn't turned out to be true, they would have eventually been caught and dealt with. Jeff's trust in them stemmed from that stroke of luck. Unless I have the timeline off, they maximized the situation to their advantage, promising Jeff safety in exchange for following through with backdooring Russell. At no point did they ever plan to honor that deal. Jeff, however, only turned on Russell after he allowed himself to be manipulated. There is a clear difference, IMO.

I guess, to me, within the context of the game, Nat's age lie is a lie because it's unnecessary and has no bearing on the game.
Whereas, "I won't put you up if/when I get HOH" is a tried and true strategy that has been around the past ten seasons. It's the proverbial 'oldest trick in the book.' I saw that decision on Nat/Kev's part as a Hail Mary and Jeff stupidly took the bait. To me, it was Jeff's shortcoming to take the bait on such an obvious ploy, not Nat/Kev's shortcoming to try and stay in the house.
Had Nat voted for Jordan to be evicted, we'd be calling her stupid for leaving two physical threats (Michelle/Jeff) in the game for the final 4 showdown... Personally, I think she made the correct decision (getting rid of the one physical threat she could), although her logic (avenging Jessie/Chima) was a bit faulty.

Uh, I still want Michelle to beat up Natalie.
I don't like Kevin or Natalie. Both are lying liars.
Kevin may want to be chained and bent over a box but I don't want to see him chained and bent over a box. Ick. And is he wearing CAPRI PANTS?! He couldn't be more of a stereotype if he tried. I want Michelle to beat him up too. Or maybe that PLUS SIZE Jordan can sit on him? That would make him squeal like a pig.
You know sometimes this show isn't enjoyable to watch.

Oh, BTW, all that stuff about the Jury House was very funny. Though I think your Jessie hate may be getting out of hand. You don't want him to overtake James or Rupert, do you? Your Lydia hate seems just about right though.

What in the hell is up with Lydia? Her face, her hair, her clothes. Clueless, utterly clueless.

Kevin is such a personality deprived ladyboy.

Nastylie has lied to everyone the entire game. Her whole gameplay is based on a lie (that she's 18) and she never hesitates to add on new lies in order to destabilize the other players. Most of the pot-stirring came from her, after all.
All the while she's pretty much remained below the radar and avoided getting her own hands dirty.
Frankly, she's masterful at it.
The fact is, it's everyone else's fault that they never called her on her lies and let their guard down around her.
Except for Kevin -- he caught on to her from the very first lie. They've never shown him speaking about that though -- makes you wonder if he's kept it in the back of his mind all along. Just rode Nastylie's shirttails (while she rode Jessie's) until he could step up to make the bold moves.
Meanwhile, for all their dopey lovable charm, J&J have played the game like complete idiots. The entire time. They only survived because Jeff was able to win a few competitions and was given the coup d'etat.
But neither of them are good players (well, Jordan hasn't played at all, she's a total floater).
And Michelle's been disappointingly worthless. No social game whatsoever.
So if Kevin wins, he'll deserve it. And if Ratface wins, well, no matter how disgusting she is as a human being, she'll have deserved the win too.

"All the while she's pretty much remained below the radar and avoided getting her own hands dirty."
itchy - cleary you are not familiar with Natalie's bathing habits (or lack thereof). hehe

This recap was hilarious, but this line especially had me rolling: "That is true; most of my exes have the opportunity to save themselves by competing in wacky competitions with astoundingly low budgets. I put them on in my apartment. My neighbors do not approve." LOL!!
I've been on team Kevn for a couple of weeks now. Welcome to the bandwagon.

Itchy - I agree with you re J/J.. bad players for sure and DUMBER than a sack of hammers or nectarines (whatever those are!). Michelle, too is a complete nerd but as her husband said - if she wins all the nerds of the world will go crazy. Even though she hasn't played the best game, she is still there and hasn't really ruffled any feathers.
As for Kevin - stepped up late in the game (YEAH - he evicted Jeff!) and Jordan - NO WAY JOSE! Floater Extraordinaire!
Jessie ripping off his shirt - BLEAH. Actually Lydia's hair looks better black but for some reason her tattoos are much more distracting - also BLEAH.

A lot of people do things within this kind of game setting that they would never think about outside of it. That said, I totally do NOT think that is the case with Nastylie (Thanks, Itchy! That's perfect for her!)!You just know she is that whiny-ass, I'm-so-cool, better-than-you-but-you-can-do-it-for-me-anyway, annoying biatch outside the house that she is inside the house! HATE!!!! Anyone, anyone, anyone but her please win!!

I can't stand Natalie. And with so few people left in the house she is getting way too much air time. YUCK.

Has there ever been a contestant on BB that NEVER told a lie??? I've watched the show for 3 seasons, and I've always thought lying was one of the requirements to get to the end. They are playing for a half million dollars, I say do whatever it takes!!! No matter how much you dislike Natalie, she's playing a GAME. Jeff put her on the block, twice, why in the world would she vote to keep him?? At the end of day, Jeff is responsible for his own demise. #1 rule on BB..trust NO ONE!!!! and lie your a$$ off!!

PEOPLE!
It isn't the fact that Natalie is lying that makes us hate her. It's the self-righteous, hypocritical, blind, idiotic denial (/pathetic attempts at justification) of her lies, not only in the house, but in the diary room, that makes her detestable. Combine this with her slandering of the other houseguests for the SAME THINGS that she does, and yeah, the dying in a fire thing comes to mind. Also, she behaves like a child, doesn't bathe, constantly gossips and sits around thinking up ways to screw with the houseguests that have no effect on the game, whatsoever. She is ick, ick, yuck in every sense of the word. Her winning would be like Ivette winning.
Kevin deserves it, as far as I'm concerned at this point. I like him. He seems to see the Gnat for what she is at least...
Great, fabulous, hilarious, wonderful recap, Schoonie! I was LOL'ing all over the place :D

I am definitely in the Anybody-But-That-Skank-Natalie for the win! This chick has done absolutely nothing - all season - but run her mouth, self-aggrandize, align herself with egomaniac-nutbags like Chima/Jessie, AND LOSE every competition. For crying out loud, she only won HOH this time because there's literally almost no other warm bodides in the competition left! Frankly, I have no real problem with her constant lying (nor anyone else's; it's part of the game, like it or not), but her self righteousness is nauseating!!
For the win, on pure likabilty, I'd like to see Jordan get it. However, in terms of most derserving, I gotta go with Michelle. I have come to like Michelle, and I respect that she's got where she is all on her own, and by winning competitions. She's earned it. Also, from that perspective, even though I don't like the people Kevin chose to align himeslf with, really, what other choices did he have? When he's needed it, he's pulled it off and won a competition or two, therefore, it wouldn't make me crazy if Kevin won. If Natalie wins, I'm moving to France.
When the show is over, Natalie, and you read these comments (AND YOU WILL, BECUASE YOUR INFLATED EGO WILL COMPEL YOU TO READ EVEY LAST WORD PRINTED ABOUT YOU) I really want you to respond to the following question: HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW ALL OF AMERICA DESPISES YOU, AND SEES YOU FOR THE CLASSLESS, SKANKY, LAZY BIATCH YOU ARE? Hmmm? How, Natalie?

Word regarding Natalie on the last two posts! I hate that nasty crotch and Schoon, and for her to die in a fire is not too harsh.
Schoonie..."he rips his shirt off like a stupid asshole"
Hysterical, my kettle corn from Vermont made with maple syrup was spat out all over my monitor.
Can that phrase be the title for BB-whichever-one-we-are-on.
