Big Brother, CBS

With Big Brother All Stars poised to take over our brains in just over a week, special attention has been given to all our favorite cast members from years past. As a result, nostalgia has been running rampant in the TVgasm offices, which is why we decided to resurrect this loving tribute to Big Brother 5's Jase and Scott. Rumor has it that Jase has seen this video and absolutely hates it, which is all the more reason to embrace it. For us, this montage has a special place in our hearts because at the time (July, 2004), it was our biggest post ever -- our first foray into viral video. The clip brought in so many visitors that we pretty much had to shut the site down and mirror the file on Fleshbot. Of course, that was back in the old days of TVgasm when we weren't equipped to handle more than three people viewing a movie at once. But enough about TVgasm. This is about Big Brother; so please enjoy for the second time (or perhaps the first) Scott and Jase: The Love Below.

That clip was THE thing that brought me to TVGASM in the first place (gets all misty). It was love at first sight and I once I found this place, I never left (I'm sure much to the dismay of a few "Damn won't that girl get lost?" hehe)

That video just never gets old. I really hope Jase makes it back in- he's so great to hate, and also it's been awhile since someone's worn a good mandana on TV.

I also was introduced to TVgasm thanks to this video. It's been two long years for my friends listening to me begin oh so many stories by saying "I was reading on TVgasm..." While I've been solidly entertained and addicted all this time, I don't know that you've ever topped this masterpiece. Maybe that's just naive first love talking though.

I have to admit I've never watched Big Brother. But because of the TVgasm obsession with it, I'm actually considering it. This video is hilarious without even knowing who Jase and Scott are. Isn't it just Survivor without the scenery though?

Big Brother is Survivor on crack cocaine! It's all about personalities and complicated strategies that make Survivor look like a children's tea-party. And of course, there's the circuit-enhanced, brain of a broken Apple Mac which was cutting-edge in 1992, now specially enhanced with new irony-aware alogrithms Chenbot. Don't get me wrong, the Probstmeister does a great job on Survivor, but he doesn't inspire the fierce awe and love that Chenbot fans feel for our little tin-woman. Who else could turn a pair of simple words "But First" into a national phenomenon.
