I don't understand Marcellas this season. Why is he so pissy all the time? Does he not get how unpopular he's making himself?

Also I don't understand how he expected to play this game if he wants Janelle out but has no "agreement" with anyone else in the house. Has he never seen this show before?

No matter how much he pisses and moans, it is quite clear that he no longer wants to be there.

So now with all the "secret" sub alliances, who is going to actually try to win HOH? The only person not playing both sides is poor Howie.

First of all, how lame was the veto competition? Danielle did absolutely nothing for her win. Nothing. (Not even a "no veto for next week")

Second, the editing proves to be misleading because it seems to me that Janie was forced (by Chilltown and others) to put up Marcellas. If she refused, that would give James/Chilltown enough ground to actively gun for her.

Regarding James, I agree that Janie needs him around. If he was to go on the block, he wouldn't leave (courtesy of Legion of Doom) and would again give reason for him to attack Janie directly.

(Btw, in past seasons, the diary room footage is supposed to reveal the true intentions of the HGs. But this season, I really think that people are lying just to try and make a good show.)

The show seems to have slowed down a bit this past week. The veto comps has officially become a joke, and the coup d'etat will seem pointless (unless Janelle wins it) to the already frustrated viewers.

One more thing...
4 weeks to go & 8 houseguests remains probably means double eviction coming up on thursday...

I'm hoping for a Will/James win so they get put on the spot to nominate two people...will they have the guts to nominate Janelle/Howie??

It was ALWAYS suspicious that Erika got "voted" into the house. We all said it at the time. Many of us couldn't even recall who she was.

A lot of people seem to complain about CT and Marcellas because they lie and play people against each other. Well, that's what they are supposed to do! And that is why this season is definitely the best--because everybody is doing it. There's no innocent good guy to root for. Seasix was the underdog last year, and we loved them for it. Now they're in power, and we're fiding out that there's really not a lot to love. Power corrupts, right?

What's interesting about this season is that we--the audience--are playing along too, trying to figure out who is telling the truth when and who is really aligned with whom. We are the extra houseguest, and we're playing the game with them, because it's impossible to tell when people are lying.

And I don't care if the game is a sham. It's still fun to watch. I'll take Howie whining about being left out of the shower and CG's costumes any day, because it's so outrageous.

My final thought: after this week's eviction, they should announce their Legion of Doom. Janelle and Howie should go up and one will be evicted. The other will be left powerless.

CBS not showing Janelle being pulled out of a deep sleep by CT and James and then being brow-beatened into putting up Marcellas instead of who she wanted (George) is disgusting. If you don't subscribe to the live feeds or visit the many udates sites because you don't like "spoilers" then you missed that part. CBS sure didn't want you to see it. It's crap like that that makes visiting those sites worth your while. There truly are two different shows going on--the real one in the house and the one that CBS wants you to believe is going on.

Dr. Will is the best because he seems to be the only one, along with Mike Boogie but hes annoying and unfunny, who gets that this is a goofy game show. Everyone gets so serious and so hurt. What-ever.

Janelle had gone to George to tell him that she would be putting him up in Danielle's place - so for two days he thought he was going to be nominated. But when James, Will and Mike got Janelle up after she had been sleep for a couple of hours to tell her to put up Marcellas as a way to guarantee that Ericka would be the evicted houseguest - she was not coherent enough to analysis what they were telling her...and not Marecellas will most likely go home.

By the way, Janelle forgot to tell George that he was not going up and what they didn't show was the pure shock and disbelief on his face when Janelle said, "Marcellas". He remained in his seat on the couch for about 10 minutes just staring into space.

The other thing they didn't show last night is Dani's drunken rants.

gotta admit, i've become apathetic about BB all stars. thursday night live shows always rock because of the chenbot, but the houseguests have become tedious. dr. will's shenanigans are still pretty fun, and i'll always love janelle, no matter how clumsily she stumbles into chill-town's hands (and now that everyone's after her, we might get some good tv watching her try to dodge the bullets for a few weeks). but everyone else is a drag. poor erika. she's got the bod, but her face is really showing the wear and tear of twenty-some years worth of weekly tanning bed sessions. her and boogie are just gross, and the way she seems to be whoring herself out to chill-town makes her look really desperate. marcellas has been such a whiny asshole all summer long--he will not be missed if (when) he goes on thursday. only james has exceeded marcellas in delusional-asshole-ishness, and it looks like we're going to be stuck with him for a while, unless dr. will decides to go ahead and cut his throat just for shits 'n' giggles. i generally like danielle, but since she's out to get my girl janey, she's on my shit list. which leaves howie and george--the two half-wit goofballs, one with an alliance, the other without. maybe they would make a good final 2.

I still enjoy watching BB All Stars. Just listening to Will's comments is worth the hour spent. (He always make me laugh out loud.) He deserves to win and I hope he makes it to the finals.

I love Janelle, but she's pretty screwed. The numbers are so against her that CT/Legion of Douche could just be open about their alliance and crush her with the help of the floaters.

It seems pretty smart of her to keep CT around though because they're somewhat unpredictable with their votes/loyalty, but she should've used that "show me an act of good faith" line on Will and put him up to test his allegiance.

Lame, lame, lame. So lame even jack (#15) couldn't muster one of his incisive long comments and critiques of this show.

Unless something really exciting happens I'm going to ignore BB forevermore. I mean, the producers are desperately trying to throw things Janelle's way and she's showing not an ounce of intelligence or cunning! Three times she's been HoH and made a mess of it. So fixated in getting the girls out so she can flirt her way through the boys, Ain't happening, Blondie. She can't even get Queen Marci on her side. Pitiful, the way Will fucks with her mind each and every week. I don't think there should be any doubters left out there. Like him or not, Dr. Will Kirby is the only one worthy of the "All Star" title.

In an effort to copy "Survivor", BB has gone FUBAR. Part of the BB mystique was the tentative first few weeks, where people had to feel their way around, searching for clues to the others' personalities. This season brought us "alliances" that existed before they ever entered the house. J-Unit, how come you've never commented on Boogie, Will and Erika telling the Internet people they had it all set up BEFORE they entered the house? And they claim Erika is living with Boogie? For 6 months? Come on!

If the pattern continues, this was a brilliant move, to get Marci on the block and fuck with Janelle's mind, thus saving Erika. Absolutely brilliant! Now they can dispose of Danielle and her callypegeous (sic?) ass any time they're ready, so the three CTs remain and split the $550,000 three ways, a nice piece of change no matter how you look at it.

For those of us conspiracy theorists, maybe the producers (who picked at least Boogie before the season started) are getting some comped meals, drinks and maybe even some medical treatments!!?? Anyway, this was all pretty messed up.

ANTF (#39) in the comments for Mulligan -- I think you are dead on -- that the whole Erika and Boogie living together/getting engaged thing was a bunch of drunken fodder for the internet fan base/ratings machine. If you watch the footage of Boogie's birthday party, the whole licking of the thigh thing just didn't play like two people with a thing for each other -- even if they were trying to act. Plus, if the show really did fuck up by letting them get on the show together, why would they then air the late night kiss on two consecutive episodes? Also, Boogie made that comment about what she's gonna think when she finally gives it up then he votes her off on Thursday.

I'm thoroughly repulsed by either possibility, and find Erika's giggling parasitism to be lame and a setback to women's credibility every where. Her boobs are so unnatural and out of proportion to the rest of her skeletor-like body that they make me wanna hurl, too. Someone should have shown her plastic surgeon a picture of what real boobs look like. Alright. Enough.

Jack, if Howie & Chicken George are the final two, I will NEVER watch this show again. (FYI, I said the same thing when June & Allison were the final two, so put about as much store in my conviction as you would Marcellas' - it just makes me feel better to say it.)

Anyway, Final Two aside, there may be something wrong with me because Howie is kind of growing on me. There's something about him that I'm finding endearing this season. I thnk it's the same appeal that kept Gomer Pyle and Gilligan on the air for so many years.

Dr. Will's machinations are truly brilliant. I still hope he wins, although I am beginning to question my belief that Danielle should come in 2nd, since she is placing all her faith in the 3 most duplicitous people in the house. Janelle had ONE chance to give me a reason to like her, which would have been putting up James this week, and she blew it so I still can't stand her.

Speaking of the loathesome James, where was his bloodthirst for Chicken George this week? He was so vituperous on the subject a few weeks back, and now it's as if it all never happened. His game play is lame.

After watching Erika recoil from Booger's advances in the bathroom, I am certain that their romance is a sham. A shammance? A sandwich? (Shut up, Chicken George and eat your damn slop!)

Seriously, none of the HG's are good actors (or why would they be on reality TV as "aspiring" actors?). Least of all, Erika. If you are trying to hide your feelings with your bf from the other HG's, that's fine. But IF you have been hiding them, when you manage a quick moment alone with your beloved, wouldn't you KISS HIM BACK rather than lean away from him? And Erika's Emmy Dream 2006 comes to a bitter, cruel end.

Speaking of cruel... How mean was it to shut Big Boy Howie out of the Shower Love Fest? Howie is like a puppy: loyal and dumb. Janelle and Erika let in Booger, who is the only one who took off his shorts (Mama Doily must be SO proud) but chucked Howie? Not nice.

I totally agree with licketsplit (#9). I am having fun with this season, reality or not. I don't understand some fans and other sites who are calling this season a wash and predicting the ultimate end of BB.

I have to admit, I am getting completely sucked in by Will's amazing mind games. I can't wait to see the next move in his master plan, which I am convinced changes daily. At first, I was disappointed with Janelle for believing ANYTHING Will says, but I think her gullible nature may actually end up benefitting her in terms of her relationship with CT. Will has spent a great deal of time working her, but I think it has shown him how loyal/easily manipulated she is. Although they are in an alliance with James, CT is very suspicious of his intentions, so I think they might cut him loose before Janelle. At this point, the whole house (minus Howie) SEEMS to be united in the goal of getting rid of Janelle, but Will and Boogie have had several conversations indicating that their ideal situation would be Final Four with Janelle and Danielle. Wouldn't that be interesting? They are telling everyone else that Janelle needs to leave next week, but telling each other that they have to save her in the POV.

As for the Erika/Boogie thing, I think they are friends in real life and probably went on a few dates before the game. SHE may think she's a part of CT, but I don't think the boys have any more loyalty to her than to the other 18 alliances they've created. I think the reason they will sell out Janelle and evict Marcellas against her wishes this week is NOT to save Erika so much as to get rid of Marci, the one person remaining in the house who may be going after them. If they are successful, CT can throw the next few HOH competitions without fear of being nominated. Plus, Boogie thinks he won the coup thing. If that's true, he can save himself or Will anytime in the next three weeks. Looks like CT will be going to the end!

I still like Marcellas, and particularly love him when he rips into Janelle in the DR. :D

I agree. Marci has a bullseye for CT. Even though he goes on and on about Janelle (I think it's a smokescreen to hide his true intentions), CT knows they are on the block if he wins HOH. He and Howie are the only ones that aren't brainwashed by their BS and calls everone else on it for falling for them.

Another interesting turn is I think Howie would put up CT if he won HOH. He and Marci see clear through them and evertime Janelle wins HOH he lays into CT and the reason why they have to get rid of them NOW. He truly goes on a rant about them. But ditzy Janelle goes on about "not little Willie" and Howie falls into place with her decisions. She is the General and he the Foot Soldier after all.

Not to mention that Will is beginning to steal the girls attention from Howie. He's been relegated to an observer rather than a participant. The alpha male in him will put up CT just to become the top dog of the house again.

Thank God for Will. He is the only thing making this season worth watching. This recap has been up for two days now and only #37 posts? When this show is at its best we would be looking at 100 posts plus. TonyA (#22) I can't agree more that the "All Stars" format hasn't really translated well to BB. I can't blame the producers for trying it and God knows how excited we all were with the idea in theory. However, I think the best part of this show is watching the contestants, as complete strangers, feel each other out for the first few weeks, and we as the audience get to do the same thing and decide who we want to root for. Hopefully this season hasn't done irreparable damage to the franchise as I can't bear the thought of having to go through next summer with no BB8.
