Funny, funny recap. I keep waiting for these people to start playing the game, but it seems most of them just want to sit around and complain and criticize the few people like Jen and Kail who are trying to play. So tired of Amber crying, Dick being a butthead, Dustin being self-righteous. Let's target Amber for eviction next week.

ED needs to stay out of Jen's grill. Jen didn't throw the veto comp, she made a feeble guess to try and win it. She doesn't take any pressure off herself by letting Jameka win it. If you're on the block and you win POV, you take yourself off the block, except if you're Marcellus. Jen wouldn't be under any pressure to take herself off the block. THAT'S WHAT YOU DO! I feel a little isolated realizing I am the only one on here who can not stand Jen. I think she is a vain, arrogant, bitchy, idiot and I love that Dick is there to make her life hell.

Dick may be extremely obnoxious and trust me I hate watching him cough up chunks of lung onto the yard, but he is making the show interesting, not Jen. If there were no Dick to antagonize Jen - ya'll would be hopping off the Jen Bandwagon.

I was rooting for Dustin to take every prize he could during the POV challenge. That's not greedy, that's smart. He's still going to get one of the four people he wanted out, no matter who won it. Did no one remember Chill Town last season grabbing every prize they could and they still won?

I keep trying to forget not just the people of Chill Town but the name as well.

I too keep wondering why no one in the house will call Dick on the crap he's spouting. I also would like to see a split screen with Dick's mother watching that episode. Also, did I miss the part where anyone mentioned Daniele's mother? Do we know anything about her?

I am also creeped out by all the god talk in the house, but Dick isn't exactly Voltaire. I'm tempted to convert to some religion just so I can pray to get this man off my screen.

The only entertaining thing about having Dick stay would be to watch someone smack him down.

No one's challenging Dick because of what happened to Kail. She tried & he steamrolled right over her.

CAJAH... It's only smart if the people you're aligned with are aware of your intentions (re: Jameka letting LNC know that she was going to take Jen off the block). While they may not have liked Jameka's decision, they accepted it. Dustin knew he was in the driver's seat of that competition and could have taken the focus of the noms off of Jameka's religiosity, and focused it on getting rid of Kail or Jen.

Now, Dustin looks bad in the eyes of his HGs and has lied to Kail about putting up Zach, lied to Jen about feeling targeted by Zach (if you're targeted, doesn't it make sense to nominate them?), and showed his true colors regarding his alliance. If he nominated two people and wanted Kail or Jen to go home, basically, WTF?

Remember Dustin wanted Jen, Kail, Zach or Nick to go. He's accomplishing his goal, if not diplomatically with the LNC.

If Dustin did not buy the two different things during the POVcomp, he would have won the POV. Then, he would have had to use it and still would have pissed people off. You know Dick is just pissed because he was not in the POVcomp and could not have bought the $$.

I am the only one that is getting very very tired of all of the God talk this season?? Also, why is Twizzle Stick upset about Nick being nominated when she wanted him to go a couple of weeks ago..oh wait I guess they were making out last week.

Re: #21 (Carol): "Tired of all the God talk this season"? Try every season. I seem to remember Alison and some others reading a bible to try to justify actions (or persecute others) back in season 4. In season 5, it was Adria/Natalie as the holy rollers (remember, it was God who told her to nominate the gay man and the black man the same week). In season 6, the Nerd Herd had little prayer sessions in the HOH. What I'd like to know is -- why is a bible the ONE book that's allowed in the house? No other reading materials are permitted. Why this ONE exception? Shouldn't being deprived of the bible perhaps make one's faith stronger?

Also: What is up with people thinking the HOH's nominations are sacrosanct? Every year, people do the "Oh, I can't change the nomination out of respect for the HOH". Or, in this week's case, people are *shocked* when Dustin doesn't do his damnedest to keep his nominations as-is. If the initial nominations are all-or-nothing and so deserving of being afforded complete deference, then the HOH who made them probably wasn't being flexible enough in what is a strategic game that requires alternate plans.

CAJAH... Dustin said in his discussion with Jen that he "felt" Zach was targetting him. Therefore, wouldn't it stand to reason to nominate your biggest threat? Rather, he is both appeasing his alliance (by nominating Kail and Jen in the first place, Nick as the replacement), and alienating them all at one (by not even fighting to keep his nominations the same.) To me, if Dustin was so jazzed about getting them out, he would have fought for the POV, thus making Jameka's promise to Jen worthless. I think Dustin made himself MORE of a target this week and I can't wait to see when the Alliance turns on him.

Jameka's God picked me to play for Jen goes down as the worst strategy since Sean on Survivors 1st season alphabetical voting.

I think Jameka's reason was sincere, but at the same time it's a great way to avoid taking the heat for making an unpopular decision. Another reason she saved Jen, I'm sure, is that she does not feel like she is really in any alliance, and is enjoying screwing with those people (aka Nerd Herd 2).

Amber is SO nasty.

These HG's are getting on my nerves. I don't understand what strategy/alliance/whatever these people are trying here. Dick was cool for about 1 week, but his constant bitching (at only the women it seems) is getting out of control. He critizes people if they have the balls to ---I don't know---PLAY THE GAME?!?!? Meanwhile, he's playing the game just like those he critizizes. Just not as well!

Jameka and her loyalty to Jen....besides the GOD connection, what is really there? Are they THAT GREAT of friends? In any sort alliance? Even know each other's names?? Is it just me, or did Jameka's promise come out of NOWHERE?

Also, I liked how quickly Amber jumped off the "fag hag free ride" once she realized Jameka had God on her side and would DO ANYTHING to keep a promise. She's moving in on Jameka now, so she can get in on the action.

#26 slutty_whore: why do you presume Dustin is telling the truth to Jen? If Jen is one of his targets, doesn't it stand to reason that he would lie to keep her in the dark?

Also, why wouldn't he want Jameka's stupid strategy (right on #27!) to take the heat off of him? When Jen stays in the house & wreaks havoc later on, the HG's will remember Jameka taking Jen off the block with the POV & blame her instead of Dustin.

Having said all that, I don't think Dustin is a great strategic mastermind. I think he just wanted the trip & the money.
