i have to give it to Jameka, she finally told Dick about himself. i don't care if she had to stoop to his level to do it--it needed to be done. i don't know how they have been able to stay locked in a house with that man--just watching him 3 hours a week is too much for me. i hate confrontation, and i have never actually been in a fight, but if he got up in my face screaming like that i don't know what i would do. he is absolutely abusive, and he seems proud of the fact that he is primarily targeting the women in the house.

i would feel sorry for Danielle, and maybe i will once Dick is gone, but she is such a whiner--plus she takes no responsibility for her actions in the game. too bad she didn't team up with Jen sooner, now i think it may be too late.

the only way Amber would win is if she went up against Zach--and maybe Jen, but i don't think so. she really is a waste of space.

Jessica is right that Daniele needs to go. Dick with his bad smoking habit cannot withstand an endurance competition, whereas Dani obviously can. And as it gets closer, particularly the final 3, endurance is important.

At least on the east coast the show started 10 min. late and my dvr cut out and I totally missed the nominations . . . so pissed, but happy when I heard who got put up.

Poor Eric. It's obvious the Eric haters are the only ones voting on these "America's Player" things. What would the producers do if Eric just said, "F-you America, I'm not doing this and getting my ass voted out of here." Would the producers come in and drag his ass out of the house?

I don't really get the Eric hate. I kinda like the guy, and given the shitty hand he's been dealt he's really been playing brilliantly.

I don't watch the feeds, but if I were him I would have tried to get out of trouble with Amber by saying that he was trying too hard to impress Dick by showing what a shrewd player he was, but that he never really intended to disclose the info, which should have been evident by the fact that he never told Dick the big secret. Whether it was true or not I think Amber would have bought that.

Ok I know that I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm still on Dick's side. I don't see Jameka's praying as being private because it seems to me she is really dramatic about it. She was laying on the floor at the top of the stairs at one point praying where anyone could have come along. I don't see anything wrong with it, but I don't think it's fair to say she keeps it private. And I think with her argument with Dick I would have had more respect for her, had she kept her insults strictly directed at Dick. Yes he brings her religion into it, but I don't think I've ever heard him speak about her family. Calling his mother a bitch when she has not even met her is way wrong. She should have just stuck with making fun of him for not raising his own daughter.

I was actually cheering when I read that America wants Eric to get Dustin nominated. I can't stand him, and to tell you the truth, I really don't like anyone from his alliance, except for Jessica. They do remind me of the nerd herd from BB6 and I wish they all would go.

One more thing...a lot of people keep saying that it's not Eric's fault for being America's Player, but as far as I know he could have declined the offer right? I don't feel sorry for him, it seems to me if he didn't want to be America's Player, he didn't have to.

dmbislove, if I remember correctly, Eric was TOLD at the last minute he was "America's Player" and that he was pissed about it, but if he wanted to be on the show he had to do it.

Another thing that I forgot to mention...Someone had mentioned a site on a different recap that had a link to Daniele's live journal postings, and it appears that she was fine with Dick recently. She talked about going to movies with him, meeting his girlfriend's and things like that.

Also I guess her boyfriend was engaged to someone else but she was in love with him and wrote him a letter telling him her feelings. He broke of his engagement to be with Daniele. Not sure if they messed around before he broke off his engagement or not. I will look for the link again.

ANyways... that fight between Dick and Jam was REALLY annoying. Jam kept repeating things over and over and over again, Oh she was still good though, but it was just annoying actually watching it on the feeds.
No matter what Dick said, you could tell she really got under his skin which was AWESOME.
Oh and when Dustin yelled at Dick when he was walking inside, this was RIGHT after the Jam vs Dick fight. What it didn't show was that when Dick and Dani were eating dinner at the table inside, Dustin, without his mic on yelled through the sliding glass door at them.

And as to Amber's dog related reason that you cite for her turning to meth; during her rant-y "prayer" (w/headphones on, so respectful) she was blabbing to God about how she was sorry she turned to drugs in order to work harder for her daughter, etc. Not to get off or anything. RIIIGHT.

#13, Dustin has been a prick since the beginning, starting with his rehearsed speech during Joe's eviction and his angry videotaped statements toward him, Mike, and Kail. Dustin, as has been pointed out in earlier posts and Schoonie's article, is a coward. Not only that, but the week he was HOH, he didn't even fight to keep his nominations in place during the POV competition, instead choosing $5k and a trip (to take his G/F, WTF?) which led to the whole Nick debacle and the splinter of the LNC. Dustin may be good to look at, (as a gay man, I do think he is attractive), but he is an asshole of the Nth degree. You can judge someone by the company they keep and if that company is Amber (they are BFFs in the house), then Dustin's character leaves a lot to be desired.

Even Jesus himself would reach his breaking point and go off on Dick. There's only so much a person (or a Messiah) can take.

i really, really, want to like Jameka, but i think she is a little annoying. all that religious talk gets old fast--and yes, i know how that sounds. i do think she has had a few really good moments this season and her going off on Dick was one of them.

Dick is a bully and he doesn't stop if you ignore him--see Jen. he "goes there" all the time and i have no problem with Jameka playing the dozens w/him--although she may also have a point cause he is a very f'ed up man and his mom may or may not have had something to do with the way he treats women. he is intentionally hurtful and mean and he tries to cover up the fact that he's a bully by calling it gameplay. if he was really just up front and in your face he would have called out Nick instead of going behind his back to try to get rid of him. i didn't see him all up in Nick's face when he thought Nick was playing both sides--no yelling and harassing him, although he said he thought Nick was lying. no, Dick goes for people he considers weak, and i can't really admire that crap--so i have to give props to Jameka for calling him on his bullsh!t and giving him a taste of his own medicine.

I like Dustin. Yes he's cowardly, but he was smart to take the trip & the money. Anything that reminds me of Dr. Will puts a smile on my face.

Jen still cracks me up and I think she is in a really good place right now because as the weeks go on I think the Jess/Eric/Jameka/Dustin/Amber alliance is going to blow up leaving Jen and possibly Zach as swing votes eveyone will be trying to secure.

guinevere (#23), the stuff you just told us about Eric makes me like him even more. Look at the recap above and these comments. We're all going off on and making fun of the houseguests. Why shouldn't the people IN the house be able to talk shit and make fun of each other?

So, I'm about to go there re: Eric. Here's my opinion:

First of all, the amount of money that CBS gets from the text message voting is miniscule, at best, especially by CBS standards. You can vote online for FREE, people. That negates that argument right there. There's also an argument that says that the producers wanted Eric around so that America would have a jury vote, and that's much more likely. My theory is that they wanted him to stay because Kail is boring. Either way, the show is more awesome for keeping him and ditching Kail, and with all the negative things he has to do because of the dumbass American voting (like, say, voting for Kail twice or having to try to get Dustin put up), I'd say he maybe deserved a little slack anyway to even things out.

Either way, I don't see how anyone can fault Eric for being mean to Dick and Daniele. First of all, they are taped 24-7, and it's unedited, unlike other reality shows. If they taped me 24 hours a day, I'd probably look like an asshole too. Either way, if I had Dick following me around all day saying rude things to me, I'd probably make a few jokes about him fucking his own daughter when I got the upper hand, too, because he's an asshole and he deserves it. The fact of the matter is that Dick started the personal attacks in the house. He threw the first pitch. If you're dealing it out, you need to expect some to come your way too. It may be in poor taste, but it's certainly not uncalled for. There would be complaining if CBS aired the comments from families and whatnot, and there's complaining because CBS isn't airing the comments, so either way somebody is going to give them shit. But here's the point: YOU ARE PAYING TO WATCH THEM on the internet. If you don't like what they are saying, cancel your feeds.

Or you could enjoy the alternative, which is to quit taking a show about people who wear bunny suits so seriously and make fun of them with good humor instead. Which would be the route I have chosen.

Except when it comes to Amber. She's the one exception.

This is my first time commenting here and I'm about to post a comment clarifying the perspective of avid, feed-watching BB fans who support DDJZ (Daniele, Dick, Jen, and Zach), so I hope I'm not quartered and drawn in tatters for it. I certainly won't be disparaging fans of the remnant LNC; just the LNC itself.

I think the issue a lot of people take with the Turd Herd isn't their bashing and trashing of Dick and Daniele. Big Brother fans thrive on the incessant bitchiness and two-faced character assassination that's inherent to the game. It's quite a warped, unhealthy fascination, really. The issue is their hypocrisy in the entire matter. Not that hypocrisy is unique to BB8, but we still loathe it when we see it. The LNC cower and cry foul when Dick goes on his invective tirades and they try to censure and cast opprobrium on him for it, yet in the comfort of their own circle, they engage in roughly equivalent raving. They aren't vociferous or public about it, but they're still very much guilty (especially Dustin and Eric). Returning Dick's behaviour in kind isn't in itself reprehensible; most would do the same in their situation. However, if you're going to claim the moral high ground and sit atop the hierarchy of morality condescendingly and point fingers accusingly when your character is besmirched only to engage in similar denigration, it just kind of makes you look like a moron and strips you of your credibility. Which has, in turn, given validity to some of Dick's actions.

I hope that made sense. Either way you look at it, any housemate of this year's cast is pretty hard to wholly like, and Jen and Zach seem to be the only ones who haven't given people egregious reasons to dislike them.
