Some Swanky Resort. Kevin is trying to order a refill of his pain pills and Justin quickly, and a little panicky, tells him that he can't pick up his pills. Sarah calls Kevin just then, having ascertained that Justin must have helped him flee from Walker Manor, and asks if Justin seems OK to him, filling him in on the morning's events. She then says that he's humiliated, vulnerable and that now is the perfect time for him to relapse. Except she doesn't say that last part, even though that's exactly what she should be thinking. Instead, she says it's the perfect time for them to put their "collective foot in his ass about getting his act together." I'm sorry, but what? That's what she's worried about right now? Ugh. Anyway, Kevin quickly agrees with her, as long as she'll bring him his meds.

Robert's office. Kitty is going through a mock-interview to prepare for The View, when Robert barges in and wants her to brief him on that damn immigration bill right now. The vote is tomorrow. So is Kitty's interview. Long story short: she cannot take her job back, as she is a fledgling author and a soon-to-be mommy and Robert is just being unrealistic about the whole thing.

Some Swanky Resort. Sarah has arrived, with Tommy as reinforcement. Justin thinks that Nora has sent the cavalry to try to get Kevin back, but the sibs inform him that they're there for him. And they seem all concerned, but then Tommy starts in on him about how he could get a job at Ojai, and Justin rightly points out that he's only qualified to work in the warehouse or as Rebecca's secretary. Ouch. They tell him that he's in a rut and want to know what he sees himself doing in his future. He deems this ridiculousness a "career intervention."

And, I'm sorry, but they seem to be upset that Justin doesn't have any life goals right now. Really? That's their biggest concern? If my addict brother had just been humiliated and realized he was a total loser, I would kind of be concerned that he might, oh I don't know, FALL OFF THE WAGON! But that's not even mentioned by any of the siblings.

And life goals? I think his life goal right now is not killing himself with drugs and/or alcohol. And really, it's only been a little over a year since he's been back from Iraq, where he was not only injured, but relapsed pretty badly. I just feel like he's trying to stay alive right now, and I think his sibs need to back the hell off. Especially Tommy, who makes a snarky comment about playing Super Mario Brothers all day. They eventually decide that the problem is that he's still at home with Nora and that he needs a place of his own.

Walker Manor. Nora and Scotty get into it about who's suffocating Kevin more, and Scotty notices Kevin's bathrobe in the laundry. It's from Some Swanky Resort and he heads out.

Back at the career intervention, they're all discussing how hard it is to leave Nora's and Justin is just not getting what their problem is. Scotty enters then and is none too pleased with his idiot husband. "How about explaining to me about what part of 'in sickness and in health' means leaving me at home with your mother?" I really adore Scotty, mostly because he doesn't take Kevin's crap, or any of the Walkers' crap for that matter. In fact, all of the in-laws on this show are pretty awesome when it comes to that. The Walkers all need someone to smack them every once in a while.
