Real World 20?

Thumb The Real World Logo2A quick jaunt over to the Bunim/Murray casting website will likely result in online speculation as to WTF is going on for the 20th anniversary of The Real World even before the 18th season finishes airing and the 19th season completes shooting. The show which, ever since Vegas, has attracted primarily partiers and aspiring actors/models etc, is now blatantly accepting aspiring fill-in-the-blanks. The season is also going to be in a "major metropolitan city" according to the casting notice.

After the jump, find the screen-grab from the website which will fuel speculation. . . since it seems they are looking for "artsy folk" my guess is somewhere in Italy. Isn't that where artists go to find themselves?

Now You Too Can Have A Threesome In A Hot Tub On TV!

paula100906In our never-ending quest to make sure a TVgasm reader winds up as a cast member on a reality show, we present you with the latest casting news, courtesy of The Real World AND Fresh Meat 2 (that's right, Fresh Meat 2). There will five -- count 'em, five -- open calls this week across the country (or at least, the Eastern half of the country): Iowa, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, NYC, and DC. This could be your chance to be the next Tyler or Svetlana or... Jose (assuming you're a house plant).

So make us proud and become the newest reality star (then promptly report right back to us). Go get 'em, Tiger!

Hot Off the Presses from Umnata's Mom: Rescue Me Finale Shooting in Bayville, NY!!!

This tidbit comes from the most reliable source ever - Umnata's very own mother - Foxy Roxie! If you knew my mother you'd be extremely tickled by the fact that a) she reads TVgasm religously and b) e-mailed me to tell me she has some "scoop". She has got it on good authority (she works in the area) that the finale of Rescue Me is being shot in Bayville, NY on August 2nd and they are currently in the area looking for extras! I don't know the exact location of the shoot, but Bayville is a very small town on the North Shore of Long Island - so it shouldn't be too tough to find! Anyone who has the guts to take on the Ladder 62 boys or finds the shooting location let me know here. In the meantime, I've provided this map of Bayville with potential stalking points. If you're in the area stalking stop by the Bonanza stands for the best Italian Ices in the world. Seems as though Lost isn't the only show that knows how to put a map to good use. Enjoy! Casting Calls: Hip Hop Artist and Cutest Puppy

In our latest casting call, we'd like to alert TVgasm readers to a few chances to become reality starts. The first is an opportunity to get your inner PopoZão on. Bunim/Murray is teaming up with VH1 to look for the next great Hip Hop artist. The auditions are this Saturday, July 22nd, so if you are planning on being in the vicinity of Santa Monica, CA and can flip the gift with the rest of them, you should stop on by. If anybody has a rap about Big Brother, Hell's Kitchen, Project Runway, or The Hills, make a video on we'll feature it here. For those of you who might not be in Los Angeles, or can't sling the rhymes or even know what that means, how about showing off your puppies? Fox Announces Seven Chances to Embarrass Yourself

Is there any better way to spend a summer day than sitting around in Inglewood, waiting for your chance to look like a fool in front of millions? FOX has announced the audition schedule for the American Idol audition tour, starting with Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 8th. Although we rarely have the courage to travel south of I-10 (I officially refuse to call it The 10, the Santa Monica Freeway, or the San Bernadino Freeway starting now), at least we don't have to travel to the 626, 562, or the 909. Therefore, TVgasm will make the journey and cover the action at the Great Western Forum. If you can't make it to LA in August, make sure to check out the full list of locations where you can get your picture taken with Ryan Seacrest, oh, and try out for American Idol as well.
