Great clip! "It's duck liver!" sounds a lot like "It's people! Soylent Green is people!"

At least it was an authentic, normal, teenage moment! Teenage boys are SUPPOSED to be awkward at fancy restaurants, and girls in high school are not supposed to be so sophisticated that they know how to say "foie gras" or what it is. I didn't. Geez, sometimes these kids are so grown-up, materialistic, etc. that they have nothing left to look forward to. Let's see more moments like these!

How many mistakes did those 2 guys make in that clip -- from the way they are dressed to the failure to pull out the girls' chair, to the snide "I know, our band is great" smirk... amazing.
I'm not saying I would have done better in high school -- in fact there is 0 chance I would have been out with 2 women that good looking. Plus, all I owned in high school were jeans. All I'm saying is that I am really jealous and therefore need to rip on the guys for their sartorial mishaps.

Maybe it's becuase I don't live near fancy resturants but duck liver sounds more like fish bait than something I would want to eat. I imagine we'll see more of these high schoolers eating the garbage parts of animals soon.

This whole scene cracked me up, if Mtv had alot more Tara and The Lexie ALOT LESS Dirty (Cami) and Skunky (Kendra) maybe they could turn this train wreck of a season around, if it were not for B-sides recaps I wouldn't even watch it.

even better tater -- foie gras is overfed duck or goose liver. A normal duck's liver is not foie gras -- they have to cram food down its gullet...

I can't believe I post: I'm with you!! B-side should be on MTV's payroll. He's the ONLY one who makes this show watchable.

far gras is far out
there's nothing quite like eating an animal's excruciating pain.

Wow thanks BigMax for the info. Where was that job oppurtunity when I was in high school? I want the job of overfeeding a duck. Espically the AFLAC duck.

I kinda felt sorry for Kelan...the girls were being so snobby and it was obvious that he felt uncomfortable paying for a $75+ meal...
