After he leaves the gate keeper panel says he is pleasant and likable. But the panel members say they don't really see him feeling passion for the music. He didn't seem very excited about pursuing his music as a career.

Third is Billy. Our own little Natalie/Billy. Billy is very enthusiastic when he comes in. He says he did TV and was on the TV version of Fame and that he had the #1 poster in the world at one time. One of the panel members said she thought Scott Baio had the #1 poster. Billy tells her to talk to Scott, because he had the #1 poster and that he was a teen idol, that's what I do. This didn't seem like it was going very well with the panel members. But Billy is on a roll and keeps talking.

Then Billy starts talking about his work in corporate America running Wachovia Bank. He says that he is done with corporate America now and he is back to do one thing, act. Billy sounds a lot like those guys in infomercials. He is talking fast and loud and has a cheesy smile on his face. I think he would be really good at selling used cars, but he doesn't sound much like an actor. He sounds like a televangelist.

After he leaves the panel said that they didn't think Billy listened when they spoke to him. They were also confused. He said he wanted to act but all he did was talk about singing and being in corporate America.

Next up is #4 Chris. Chris tells the panel that he was in the Blue Lagoon and that he is interested in a comeback. He is unusually quiet and a little subdued in his meeting. He doesn't look like he wants to be there at all. After he leaves, the panel says that they sensed a great deal of sadness and darkness. Chris just didn't look very comfortable or confident.

David is next. He tells the panel that he has been an actor since 1994 and that his goal is to get back on a well-written TV show or as a host of a TV show. This meeting is pretty good and David comes across really well. Although it still makes me laugh that David wants another well-written TV show. He can't be talking about "Baywatch", can he?

After he leaves, the panel says he has it all going on. That David has a presence. I translated this into meaning he is marketable and could be good in a lot of different roles on TV or in movies.

So that leaves just one more Idol, it's Jeremy's turn. I guess after last week's performance at the auction, they know who is most likely to be a bit of a problem, or should I say, act the craziest. Those people at VH1 can recognize a possible meltdown by a someone on a reality show and this week, they're betting on Jeremy "Baywatch" Jackson.
Jeremy comes in and starts off by saying "If I start crying, it's because I haven't eaten for four days. I'm on a cleanse." This isn't exactly the best way to start a meeting, but it is Hollywood, maybe that's how they do it there.

Jeremy goes on to say his goal is to be a leading male in a movie, a mega-star. He says he wants to be the next "Tom Cruise". At first the panel seems a little shell shocked. Then finally, one of the panel members asks Jeremy how old he is, he says he is 27. She comments that he looks older. He looks older but he sounds like a whiny infant.

Most excellent recap as perusual.=)
Amazing how Jeremy regrets flipping off the business. Than he went and pretty much did it again in this episode.
He also strikes me as actually having A.D.D.
Also, it was odd seeing Eric as the less zany one this time.
Jeremy tends toward extremes. I think this is why he pays more attention to Eric than the other men.

Darling Annie:
"Unfortunately Jeremy hasn't listened to constructive criticism since he was 3 years old." LOL!!!
Thanks for the laughs!!

Yenta

Nice job Annie... I am beginning to think Jeremy is on the wrong show...he should be on Tool Academy because he is such a tool. I want to feel sorry for him because he is so messed up in the head, but it is difficult.

Has anyone noticed that Jamie shows a great dry sense of humor?
I didn't notice it until the last couple of episodes.

Nice recap, TVannie! I felt like I was able to follow Jeremy right along through his stupidity and right on down into dumbassery. I'm telling you, Hollywood fucks kids up.
Can't wait to see next week's episode!
love, J-Mo :)
P.S. a teensy bit of constructivity... girl, you can take it further out there with your picture captions, just let yourself go there... love! -J :)

Dear J-Mo,
You are sooooo right. I'm struggling a bit on the captions and the attitude. I must learn to cultivate my inner Diva.
I also should have mentioned the whole Jeremy sex scandal thing.
Thank you for the helpful criticism. I know my inner bitch is there, she's just too quiet!!

I felt that Jeremy connected to closely to the material. This cause him to shut down a bit (emotionally speaking) in order to shield himself from feeling vulnerable in front of people he is not close to(as well as the viewing public)
*tada!*

Dear Shanhox, YentaPatrol, Wintersux and Hoxharding:
I'm so glad you guys read this and comment on it.
Shanhox: Yes Jeremy gave show business the second 1 finger salute in his career. I don't know how he can possibly expect anyone to take him seriously. His behavior is irratic at best.
And Yes!! Jamie is really funny. I wish he would comment more. I think he finds it hard to get a word in when Jeremy is flipping out.
Wintersux: You nailed it. Jeremy is perfect for the Tool Academy. But who would he take? According to some rumors, there are a lot of women who have gotten to know Jeremy in that naked, skanky kind of way. I bet none of them would want to spend a second night with him.
Yenta, yes Jeremy doesn't listen well to criticism. But how can we blame him. He is acting like he did when he was 10. I don't think he's ever grown up.
Hoxharding: Smarty pants.
A little sneak peak, I saw some of the show yesterday and let's just say next week we get Eric in touch with his feelings. It's surprising, in a weird way.
J-Mo, Thank you for the help and encouragement. I love your recaps and feel very lucky to be able to share in this wild ride we call TVgasm.
DEAR ALL:
You all make recapping fun and you have no idea how great it is to "meet " and "talk"about TV shows with such smart and interesting people. You guys are the smart cool group and I'm glad I'm just along for the ride.
Love and Luck:
TVannie
