After Jeremy leaves they run and lock the door. Oh sorry that's not what they did, that's what I would do. The panel members comment that he looks older. One of the panel members says he is concerned because he talks about acting but then the next thing out
his mouth is music. It's too confusing. They didn't really get where he was coming from. Jeremy didn't sound focused or all that interested in doing what anyone says.
gatekeepermarki.jpg

What the Hell was that?

As they are commenting, Jeremy is back watching the panel with the other Idols. Jeremy starts getting very irritated. He says "Excuse me for not being a f***ing lame brain..". I guess Jeremy doesn't like it when he receives any kind of feedback.
jeremystalking back.jpg

I am DOPE, can't they see that?

Then one panel member says that in Jeremy's defense, he hasn't really worked since he was a child. As if that is an excuse for behaving like a spoiled child. Then he says his focus is too split. This is not making Jeremy happy and before you know it, Jeremy is babbling like a 2 year old on the way home from a circus.
jeremytalkback2.jpg

You are all just jealous of me cause I'm the dopest dude in the room right now. I've got more talent in my bling than you have in your whole body. And I like my hair spiky and I like fasting and I would like a new bike or maybe a Playstation or maybe I can stay out late. I like Eric and he is best friends with me not you and you can't some to my party.....

Jeremy pipes up and says he is sorry "if your feeble minds can't wrap around my diverse f***ing personality". That shot missed and went right over the bow of the ship. Then a panel member says he could do some hosting and that he is in a prime position to come back if he's smart.

Jeremy just can't keep quiet at this remark. Even though it was positive.

jeremypitch2.jpg

And with that remark, Jeremy talks like an erupting volcano and makes about as much sense. He says that these people (the panel members) don't represent the entire industry. Then Jeremy says "The thing I think is wrong, is not me, but is everybody else in the industry."

Excuse me for being diverse and multi-faceted." He goes on to say to his fellow Idols (men who now wish they could turn off their hearing like when you push the mute button on the tV remote during a commercial) "Excuse me for having too much charisma for you to absorb."

When the lava finally stops flowing and they are able to get the pacifier back in Jeremy's mouth, they get him back in his car seat and take him back to the house/prison/half-way house, etc. And almost immediately, they are in a session with Dr. Cooper. She probably is on standby for this kind of thing. There's no telling how many Idols are on the loose in Hollywood at any given time.

How did the Gate keeper meeting go?

Dr. Cooper asked where's Eric, they tell her he's gone and he's not coming back. She tells the Idols that sometimes you get to a break through and you can't handle it. That's true Dr. Cooper, but it was really your giant flower/microphone that sent him over the edge. The guys sound kind of upset and then Jamie says "It's not like he's dead or anything." Billy find this very amusing and starts laughing.

Eric's not dead!!! What a riot!!!

The next issue, how did the meeting with the gate-keepers go? David says he received all positive feedback. He was really happy with the meeting and I have to agree with him. They seemed like they would be willing to use David in a number of different places.
davidpitch2.jpg

David's pitch is well received. Good job David.

Next Jamie ways he was honest and he said he told them he wants to get back to his music. Then Adrian asked Jamie "Are you aware that you said something for the first time since we've been here? Jamie says no, what was it. And Adrian says you said "I am passionate about my music".

Adrian earns a star this week for listening to Jamie's pitch declaring his passion for music

That's very true, good observation Adrian. This was the first time that Jamie said he was passionate about his music, even if the gate kepers didn't think he was really passionate. Dr. Cooper thanks Adrian for bringing that up and telling Jamie.

Most excellent recap as perusual.=)
Amazing how Jeremy regrets flipping off the business. Than he went and pretty much did it again in this episode.
He also strikes me as actually having A.D.D.
Also, it was odd seeing Eric as the less zany one this time.
Jeremy tends toward extremes. I think this is why he pays more attention to Eric than the other men.

Darling Annie:

"Unfortunately Jeremy hasn't listened to constructive criticism since he was 3 years old." LOL!!!

Thanks for the laughs!!
Hugs,
Yenta

Nice job Annie... I am beginning to think Jeremy is on the wrong show...he should be on Tool Academy because he is such a tool. I want to feel sorry for him because he is so messed up in the head, but it is difficult.

shanhox:

Has anyone noticed that Jamie shows a great dry sense of humor?
I didn't notice it until the last couple of episodes.

J-Mo:

Nice recap, TVannie! I felt like I was able to follow Jeremy right along through his stupidity and right on down into dumbassery. I'm telling you, Hollywood fucks kids up.

Can't wait to see next week's episode!

love, J-Mo :)

P.S. a teensy bit of constructivity... girl, you can take it further out there with your picture captions, just let yourself go there... love! -J :)

AnneM:

Dear J-Mo,

You are sooooo right. I'm struggling a bit on the captions and the attitude. I must learn to cultivate my inner Diva.

I also should have mentioned the whole Jeremy sex scandal thing.

Thank you for the helpful criticism. I know my inner bitch is there, she's just too quiet!!

hoxharding:

I felt that Jeremy connected to closely to the material. This cause him to shut down a bit (emotionally speaking) in order to shield himself from feeling vulnerable in front of people he is not close to(as well as the viewing public)
*tada!*

AnneM:

Dear Shanhox, YentaPatrol, Wintersux and Hoxharding:

I'm so glad you guys read this and comment on it.

Shanhox: Yes Jeremy gave show business the second 1 finger salute in his career. I don't know how he can possibly expect anyone to take him seriously. His behavior is irratic at best.

And Yes!! Jamie is really funny. I wish he would comment more. I think he finds it hard to get a word in when Jeremy is flipping out.

Wintersux: You nailed it. Jeremy is perfect for the Tool Academy. But who would he take? According to some rumors, there are a lot of women who have gotten to know Jeremy in that naked, skanky kind of way. I bet none of them would want to spend a second night with him.

Yenta, yes Jeremy doesn't listen well to criticism. But how can we blame him. He is acting like he did when he was 10. I don't think he's ever grown up.

Hoxharding: Smarty pants.

A little sneak peak, I saw some of the show yesterday and let's just say next week we get Eric in touch with his feelings. It's surprising, in a weird way.

J-Mo, Thank you for the help and encouragement. I love your recaps and feel very lucky to be able to share in this wild ride we call TVgasm.

DEAR ALL:

You all make recapping fun and you have no idea how great it is to "meet " and "talk"about TV shows with such smart and interesting people. You guys are the smart cool group and I'm glad I'm just along for the ride.

Love and Luck:

TVannie
