Chris makes an aside to the camera," in my opinion I would not have recommended that Jeremy go back in the second time. I think Jeremy has some more growing to do."
Jeremy says "I like to double down. You know go for broke. I didn't want to leave beating myself up about why I didn't just go back in. All the other guys got directly positive. I only got directly negative stuff that I had to turn into a positive". "They're in there saying they didn't get me. That's their problem, that can't be my problem. It can't be my fault.
Like any other selfish brat, Jeremy is not able to blame himsefl for anything and instead chooses to find fault with everyone else in the industry.
Back at the ranch, Billy is about to drop a bomb, even though he doesn't mean to do it.
Billy says " that' was an awesome experience. That's the best experience so far." Jeremy pipes up and says "you're wrong, they didn't have a vision".
A vision? Like seeing the Virgin Mary on a potato chip? Jeremy goes on to say they" didn't have an idea and something popped into their mind. They want way more of a cookie cutter than I can deliver. I had to simplify myself so that their own misconceptions and preconceived notions wouldn't get in the way of their thoughts. That's what I had to do".
At this point, Eric tells Jeremy "That's the business that you're in. You gotta do that.
Jeremy responds "for some people, yes you do. But those aren't the kind of people I wanna work with." Chris looks down at the floor. He is obviously looking for an escape route. He looks really uncomfortable. I bet Chris is wondering why he didn't go to Aruba with Adrian.
Jeremy is on a roll and continues to spew nonsense. " You want people that see an abstract painting and they wanna know really bad what's in there. Then there's a lot of people that see a stick figure and say that's a stick figure".
Jamie sees an opening and takes it "Real quick Bro. Today I know there's lots of people out there, but today those were the only people in there." Good observation Jamie, you get the gold star this week. Jamie adds "you gotta know your audience for today and go in there and I think my only advice, cause you're getting all worked up, is less is more Dude."
Chris tries to take over for Jamie and says to Jeremy "We all sat there praising you, you did get a lot"... but he is cut off. Then Eric in a supreme moment of clarity says "They didn't say the things you wanted to hear. But they said all the right things." Good comment Eric, you get a gold star too. Unfortunately Jeremy hasn't listened to constructive criticism since he was 3 years old.
But Jeremy is not done. He says "I wanna know what roles are you gonna have for me? What direction do you have for me? What number do I call?" David interrupts and tries to regain sanity in this crazy place. He tells Jeremy to "shut up and listen for a minute". But Jeremy says "no I wanna know what they are going to do for me?"

David is now arguing with Jeremy. He says "what do you think they were going to say, let me make a couple of calls?" He tells Jeremy, "you gotta hone your stuff a little."
Eric takes over and says to Jeremy "It's like you're a baby. It's like you gotta put your diaper on."

David tells Jeremy "I love you but I'm just concerned because he's in a bad place.I think it's extremely dangerous because we don't know where this will lead to."
Jeremy please be more adult when confronted by criticism. OK,then if you can't do that, just take your head out of your butt.
Then the camera shows Jeremy with boxing gloves on beating on a big metal thing outside and kicking it and basically acting like a 2 year old who doesn't think he needs a nap. Take a nap Jeremy, it's the best for your career right now.

Most excellent recap as perusual.=)
Amazing how Jeremy regrets flipping off the business. Than he went and pretty much did it again in this episode.
He also strikes me as actually having A.D.D.
Also, it was odd seeing Eric as the less zany one this time.
Jeremy tends toward extremes. I think this is why he pays more attention to Eric than the other men.

Nice job Annie... I am beginning to think Jeremy is on the wrong show...he should be on Tool Academy because he is such a tool. I want to feel sorry for him because he is so messed up in the head, but it is difficult.

Has anyone noticed that Jamie shows a great dry sense of humor?
I didn't notice it until the last couple of episodes.

Nice recap, TVannie! I felt like I was able to follow Jeremy right along through his stupidity and right on down into dumbassery. I'm telling you, Hollywood fucks kids up.
Can't wait to see next week's episode!
love, J-Mo :)
P.S. a teensy bit of constructivity... girl, you can take it further out there with your picture captions, just let yourself go there... love! -J :)

Dear J-Mo,
You are sooooo right. I'm struggling a bit on the captions and the attitude. I must learn to cultivate my inner Diva.
I also should have mentioned the whole Jeremy sex scandal thing.
Thank you for the helpful criticism. I know my inner bitch is there, she's just too quiet!!

I felt that Jeremy connected to closely to the material. This cause him to shut down a bit (emotionally speaking) in order to shield himself from feeling vulnerable in front of people he is not close to(as well as the viewing public)
*tada!*

Dear Shanhox, YentaPatrol, Wintersux and Hoxharding:
I'm so glad you guys read this and comment on it.
Shanhox: Yes Jeremy gave show business the second 1 finger salute in his career. I don't know how he can possibly expect anyone to take him seriously. His behavior is irratic at best.
And Yes!! Jamie is really funny. I wish he would comment more. I think he finds it hard to get a word in when Jeremy is flipping out.
Wintersux: You nailed it. Jeremy is perfect for the Tool Academy. But who would he take? According to some rumors, there are a lot of women who have gotten to know Jeremy in that naked, skanky kind of way. I bet none of them would want to spend a second night with him.
Yenta, yes Jeremy doesn't listen well to criticism. But how can we blame him. He is acting like he did when he was 10. I don't think he's ever grown up.
Hoxharding: Smarty pants.
A little sneak peak, I saw some of the show yesterday and let's just say next week we get Eric in touch with his feelings. It's surprising, in a weird way.
J-Mo, Thank you for the help and encouragement. I love your recaps and feel very lucky to be able to share in this wild ride we call TVgasm.
DEAR ALL:
You all make recapping fun and you have no idea how great it is to "meet " and "talk"about TV shows with such smart and interesting people. You guys are the smart cool group and I'm glad I'm just along for the ride.
Love and Luck:
TVannie
