As you know, TVgasm recently held a contest providing our readers a chance to go the
Project Runway Fashion Show as part of
New York Fashion Week, courtesy of
BAWLS Guarenexx. Since we were giving away such an amazing prize, we decided to hold one of our most challenging contests to date. We asked TVgasm readers to design their own clothes, and had many wonderful responses. However, there was one entry that outdid all of the rest. Although it did not relate to TV, reader OD-TV sent in a dress that demonstrates the level of
insanity dedication that has always been a halmark of TVgasm since the very beginning. Taking his inspiration from the
recycling challenge, OD-TV made his dress from some garbage bags and a LOT of Splenda packets. Modeling for him is his friend Maria.
For his dedication and creativity, OD-TV has a date with our own EdHill for the Project Runway Fashion Show next week. Second and Third place winners will be announced on our Project Runway Live Blog next Wednesday. We would like to thank everybody at BAWLS Guaranexx for providing our one of a kind prizes end everybody who participated. Full pictures of OD-TV's creation are available after the jump.

Wow. What can I say? Congratulations OD-TV. Don't think the red bow was needed but still an interesting dress. One question: are the splenda packets full or empty?

Great dress, and as Tyra would say, your model is fierce and has pop.
Now what to wear....

Thanks so much! I can't wait to see the show. I hope the dress fits me when I go to meet EdHill. If not, I am going to go out and buy somethin real purdy.
Zevonia - the packets are empty. I drink a ton of coffe and sweet tea while watching my 40 hours+ of television each week. The red bow was the tie from the garbage bag.
Thanks TVgasm! See you Friday EdHill!

Thanks OD-TV. Now I understand the bow. I think full packets would have made the dress move in an interesting way but it's still a cool dress.

Very impressive OD. Or as they say in Gay Paris : très impressionnant.
Hey J-Unit, any chance of seeing the other entries too?

Sweet tea? Dude you really are Southern. Though I think substituting Splenda for cane might get you permanently kicked this side of the Mason-Dixon. I regret that my genetic inertia and my personal life, which can only be described as a fecal hurricane, prevented me from entering my own couture gown. At any rate, well done my friend.

Lizzardqueen, my redneck brother doesn't care that I am the gay, but if he knew I used splenda in my sweet tea instead of cane, he would totally kick my ass.
Zoobabe - consider it done, but you will have to wait until spring for the Equal blue line.

It's a great dress. What else can I say? It really got me off. :)
As it is so very Splenda-centric, I think one can say with complete confidence that this dress is "Without Equal". :)

Oh, though I hate to follow my own post with yet another, if King Loompa (a.k.a Michael Kors) was to comment, I think it would be that this dress was "saccharine sweet".
GOD I crack myself up sometimes.

wow - who knew the TVgasm readers/posters were so creative. I like this dress - I think it's better than some of the stuff I've seen on PR.
