Later Susan is back home with Adele and explains that earlier must have been false labor, and the water must have merely been vaginal secretions finally being expelled after lo these many years. Mike comes in and Susan gives him the nod to talk to Adele. Mike steps up and begins to tell his mother how her passive aggressive insults are hurtful and unnecessary, but sadly his lifelong dream to stand up to Mama is interrupted when Susan really goes into labor.

Over at Lynette's place, all of her kids, the real kids and not the bastard girl that got dumped on her doorstep, bring in breakfast in bed. Lynette asks Tom where Kayla is and Tom says that he doesn't want to talk about it again since he'll just get upset and ruin another Mother's Day. While Lynette tries to convince Tom that his daughter is pure evil, Kayla is in the next room calling the therapist. She tells him that Lynette hit her AGAIN. Kayla goes on to say that Lynette hits her a lot but she was scared to say anything before.

At the saddest bachelor apartment since Orson's we see Wayne downing beer after beer while watching videos of Dylan as a little girl. There are ballet recitals, Christmas mornings and hilarious videos of Dylan's injuries after a nasty bike accident. Dylan comes by to ask her father about staying with him when her mom goes away to live on an Indian reservation where she will suckle the infant papooses. Wayne tries to tell his daughter about his recent findings when he notices Dylan's arm. Wayne grabs it roughly and looks at it hard, causing Dylan to worry about the track marks. Wayne angrily tells Dylan to get out and when she leaves he puts in the video of her bike accident when she was a little girl. He stares intently at the long scar on the little girls arm and the multiple stitches that were needed and realizes that the girl that was just on his couch doesn't have the slightest scar in that apartment. Whoever that girl is, it's definitely not Dylan. Dun dun DUN!

Wow, great recap! It was fast-paced and hilarious. Good job.

angelbayyb:

every single line of this recap was great !!!

i just wish it hadn't ended so abruptly =(

juddfan:

Gumdoll!!! Tucking it!!!! Absolutely hysterical!!! You are always worth the wait.

So is it me, or does anyone else feel sorry for Edie--I find it pathetic that her blackmail is to make Bree be her friend, it's "sniff" so sad . . . I recall a simillar thing with Susan near the start of the show . . . she's my fave on the show, and my God she's a good tucker, cos I never see the slightest bum where her vulva should be . . . why should she need to read, Tucking it, when she could be the editor!

blahblah:

I'm still on the first page...

Nice recap of the past 2 weeks. It's pretty sad that the plotlines can be summed up that easily and quickly. Goes to show nothing of any substance is happening on the show.

Correction: Katherine was rolling dough with her bare hands with the knife lying in an open drawer while talking to her ex-husband. The "I will kill you" threat was implied.

blahblah:

So I finally finished reading the rest of the recap. Good job. I like the run-on sentences that are 50% truth and 50% would be awesome if this really happened!

I hope Edie is leaving for good. Her character is no longer necessary. She's running out of husbands/boyfriends to steal. DH did surprise me a little this week by not making Lynette offended when they realized Tom is the only hubby Edie hasn't stolen, yet (with good reason).

Btw, I cheered when Lynette slapped Kayla. I guess that makes me as evil as Kayla, but I don't care. More kids need to be slapped. Maybe then we wouldn't have to put up with their evil delinquent ways as adults.
