Giada Watch

I really like to keep my Giada viewing to a once-a-week affair, but the plucky chef was on TV again, and this time with a friend. I was instantly amused not only by her ever-growing head shape (thanks to a ponytail, adding much-welcomed volume), but by her perkiness screeching to a halt when her sidekick had the temerity to suggest that pork is a salty meat. "Who told you that?" asked an incredulous and momentarily miffed Giada. Later, when the friend said "I don't know, it's a belief I have," Giada simply laughed it off, adding "One of MANY!" Translation: "IDIOT!"

British:

Holy crap. As if the first pic wasn't bad enough, now I am 110% convinced of her rather large head size. The figure doesn't help.

She's like a Bratz doll.

British:

On a side note. Look closely at her on the still-shot. With her gritting smile, she looks like a typical anime' character when they are in anguish/embarassment. Complete with the parentheses-shaped eyebrows.

Dave J.:

I hope her friend followed with the timely (and timeless) rejoinder, "Suck it, beeeyotch." Seriously, what a lame thing to say--"one of many." And just printing it doesn't do justice to the "you are such a total idiot" tone of voice she had.

Stevo:

That's typical. You can tell that Giada is the worst type of bitch...the "perky" kind. Whenever she has "friends" on the show to eat the meal she's prepared everybody looks miserable.

William M Jako:

I enjoy watching "Everyday Italian" and as I percieve it Giada responded to the assinine comment in friendly fashion. You want to see mean watch Bobby Flay. By the way, since refridgeration became widely available pork has not been of necessity a salty meat.

Giada's Noggin:

How is it that her teeth are wider than the rest of her head. How bizarre. She's like a real life caricature.

Kathryn:

Aww c'mon, her friend was wrong and she is on a cooking show trying to give people accurate advice. She's could've said "No, you are wrong stupidhead!" I agree with William, Food Network has bigger jerks to fry. And I still think she is hot. Haha.

anthony:

personally i like giada. yea her smile is a bit big, and anyone can look weird if you freeze their face at the right time. that is a stupid comment though. who cares what this "friend" believes pork is? i certainly don't. you want to see people having a sucky time at a party? watch barefoot contessa. those people want to die.

nat:

Ahhh, the advertures of little big head and the over-vasalined camera lens!

tv freak:

I agree with anthony. Anyone can look dumb in pictures. just ask Julie Chen. lol.

Joe:

Someone at TVgasm should keep an eye out for the re-airing of her risotto episode. In it, she makes these tiny fried risotto balls using leftover risotto. She says, and I kid you not, with that manic, toothy smile, "And now, I'm going to fry my balls." Heaven!

Karen:

Can someone please explain the low cut tops lately? Bless Giada's heart, she was stirring the bowl the other day and I swore one was going to fall out into the bowl.
