Meanwhile, Serena's dealing with Georgina's unexpected inclusion in their dinner when Blair calls, somewhat frantically insisting that Serena talk to her right away - looks like swiping Chubs' phone paid off, and Blair wants to warn Serena who the mystery man is. But Serena's got her own crisis, and hangs up before Blair can tell her. As the VDWs and Georgina dine, Georgie is all sweet, making polite chit-chat and commenting that love is clearly in the air for the whole family -- Lily and Bart, Serena and Dan, and Eric and his boyfriend. Oh shit, she did see the kiss! As Lily and Serena gape, Georgina continues to run her mouth about how Eric should be proud he landed a hot one. Since she's a crazy bitch, it's fair to assume she realizes the damage she's doing, but she does seem repentant when Serena tells her to STFU eventually, so who knows. Lily insists that it doesn't make any sense, since Eric's not gay... even though she can't even manage to choke the word out... and finally turns to Eric and asks him directly. He doesn't respond, but his face gives him away and Lily gasps in shock and horror. Okay, you can officially pull yourself out of the running for mother of the year for the next 3 decades.
Eric jumps up and runs from the table while Serena yells at both her mother and Georgina before following. She cautiously enters Eric's room, where he's getting off the phone with Chuck - who evidently has known Eric is gay for a while now. I love how Chuck has quickly become the one person both Serena and Eric can tell almost anything to, no matter how scandalous. As Serena tries to comfort Eric, he reveals that he met Chubs in the psych ward (I'm not surprised... if I were that stupid I'd want to end it all too), and that he's going to go to Chubs' party because he has to make sure Jenny knows.
In the ghetto, Jenny's on her way to Chubs' party when Rufus calls her out on her lies about choir practice. She frantically pleads to go, but Rufus lays down the law and forbids it. Jenny's all like fuck that, I'm leaving and you can't stop me, and Rufus warns her that she's already lost his trust and this will cost her his respect as well. I guess Jenny figures what's one more person losing respect for me, and she heads out the door anyway. Also heading to the party? Blair, Chubs' cell phone in hand. Between Eric showing up and Blair armed with the photographic evidence, Jenny's in for just the kind of evening she deserves.
"No, Dad, you don't get it! If I'm not there, who will tell my boyfriend to stop staring at the busboy's ass?!"
Serena, meanwhile, has run to the coffee shop to meet Dan - who promptly introduces "Sarah" who must have hoped this is exactly what Serena would do. Georgina plays it off while Serena looks like she's going to throw up. Before she can pull Dan aside for damage control, Georgina beckons Vanessa over, claiming she has a short film she wants to seek Vanessa's advice on. Vanessa obediently goes to get her laptop, and Serena shoos Dan away on a fool's errand so she can speak to Georgie privately. Basically, the game is simple blackmail - Serena is either friends with Georgina and all is fine, or she's her enemy and Dan sees the sex tape. Serena obviously chooses friends, and receives a temporary stay of execution.

Did anyone notice when the girls were walking down the hall at school and Hazel called Jenny "Little J," she sounded exactly like the gossip girl voice over?
No one ever suspects the dumb girl.

The voice of Gossip girl is done by Kirsten Bell (Veronica Mars). Wonder if she'll ever be on the show

I can honeslty say I hate that bitch Georgina!! I love bitchy blair and simpy serena is getting on my nerves. I think Chuck is scuzzy but gotta love the villan, right. oh, and eric...ugh! He is not even hot enough to be gay! I would have to agree that this episode although great blair/serena interaction, it was a little to "Little House on The Prairie" this week. It will be interesting to see what happens concerning the dead guy. I think that Serena was set up by Georgina.

this was one of the better episodes i think, i do miss chuck a lot however!
i had my best friend watch with me for the first time, and she's addicted now. ha.
anyways, i don't really like michelle trachenberg or however her last name is spelt. i've never really liked her as an actress - there's just something about her that annoys me.
oh well, she's only guest starring, and georgina is really making things interesting.
