Jenny's now at the party and is busy lying about having sex with Chubs when Elise runs over and tells her Blair's there too. As Jenny furiously exclaims that Blair wasn't invited, Blair pulls Chubs aside and tells him that she now has the text and photo proof that the rumors are true. Lucky for him, she's not going to use them to screw over Jenny because she cares about Eric too much to drag him into it (which is totally sweet and decent of her). Before Chubs can respond, Eric and Jenny both approach from different sides of the room. As Chubs sputters, Eric drops the bomb to Jenny and everyone within hearing range - Chubs was kissing a guy that morning, and it was Eric. Chubs frantically asks Jenny to cover for him by claiming they were together all morning, and she does while Eric points out the obvious - why would he stand there and admit he was gay if it wasn't true? Livid, Chubs calls Eric the f-word, and Jenny barely reacts. I wasn't sure if it was possible, but yep, I hate her even more now. A disgusted Eric turns to leave, but as he goes he awesomely tells Blair "Go ahead and do it." Blair is only happy to comply, and forwards all the content of Chubs' phone to GG.

Spotted: Coordinating male minions! Iz and Kati Nelly better strike while the iron is hot!

Lily's on the phone with Rufus, beating herself up for not knowing Eric was gay, and for acting like a giant douchebag when she found out. He calms her fears that Eric will attempt suicide again, while admitting that he's also a shitty parent. Things get awkward again as he comments that they've always made a great team, and get even worse when he tells her she'll make a beautiful bride. Who else expects an homage to "The Graduate" before this season ends?

Within minutes, GG has sifted through the photos and texts and spread them back out to her adoring public as proof that Chubs is gay. The minions are all getting ready to bail as Jenny begs them not to leave. But it turns out that they're not really pissed about Chubs being gay, which was an honest mistake - they're pissed that Jenny lied about having sex with him. Stealing from each other's closets is one thing, but lying about your sex life is unforgivable. To think, Isabel almost asked Jenny to wear a matching dress tonight! As Jenny looks on miserably, Blair leads her once-again loyal followers out the door.

"Hmm, Iz, why don't you take the one in the blue plaid, and Nelly Yuki, you take the one in the red?"

After having successfully dragged Chubs kicking and screaming from the closet, Eric arrives home to find Lily waiting up for him. She launches into an apology, and then tearfully admits she's scared for his safety and happiness. He sits down and emphatically tells her he has a better chance of happiness by being honest with himself, and they hug. While I usually find the Eric character annoying and pointless, Connor Paolo really did a great job this episode and I hope they explore his character more in the future. Also, kudos to the writers for coming up with an original, honest-feeling way to "out" a character.

Later that night, Blair's sitting at home gloating when Jenny arrives to announce that Blair wins. Undaunted, Blair says she's not ready to stop playing - only to be cut off by an emotionally distraught Jenny who says she hates what she's become and what she's done, and it's not worth it. She doesn't want to end up like Blair -- even though that would be a total upgrade as far as I'm concerned. Jenny has proved she will walk over anyone to rise to the top -- her brother, her father, her friends -- doesn't matter. Blair does some shitty things, but she's fiercely loyal to those she cares about (as we saw tonight with Eric), which makes her the better person in my book. Seeing how defeated Jenny is, Blair softens momentarily and the girls share a silent, meaningful moment -- broken by Blair hilariously snapping "Hope you don't expect a hug!" With that, Jenny slinks out, but Blair's expression isn't one of triumph - it's perhaps one of regret. As much as she wanted to punch Jenny in the face, I think a part of Blair enjoyed having a worthy adversary. However, with Jenny at least temporarily out of the picture, this frees up the role of adversary for Chuck!

Megolopolis:

Did anyone notice when the girls were walking down the hall at school and Hazel called Jenny "Little J," she sounded exactly like the gossip girl voice over?

No one ever suspects the dumb girl.

smithy:

The voice of Gossip girl is done by Kirsten Bell (Veronica Mars). Wonder if she'll ever be on the show

preppyboy:

i called EVERYTHING! i called eric being gay, although everyone did, and i called that serena killed someone. but georgina is TOTALLY gossip girl! towards the end when she was talking to serena she said "i know everything about you, your friends, and your family before you do." GeorGina.....Gossip Girl....GG

BBFanatic:

I can honeslty say I hate that bitch Georgina!! I love bitchy blair and simpy serena is getting on my nerves. I think Chuck is scuzzy but gotta love the villan, right. oh, and eric...ugh! He is not even hot enough to be gay! I would have to agree that this episode although great blair/serena interaction, it was a little to "Little House on The Prairie" this week. It will be interesting to see what happens concerning the dead guy. I think that Serena was set up by Georgina.

blairwaldorf:

this was one of the better episodes i think, i do miss chuck a lot however!
i had my best friend watch with me for the first time, and she's addicted now. ha.

anyways, i don't really like michelle trachenberg or however her last name is spelt. i've never really liked her as an actress - there's just something about her that annoys me.
oh well, she's only guest starring, and georgina is really making things interesting.
