Back in the ghetto, Dan is extolling "Sarah's" virtues to Serena, while Serena protests that there's something about the girl that she doesn't really like, and she doesn't think Dan should trust her. Dan thinks she's out of her fucking mind since she just met "Sarah" that night, and accuses Serena of being jealous over nothing. He takes off with Vanessa, leaving Serena and Georgina alone to talk. Serena demands to know what Georgina wants, and Georgie says all she wants is for things to go back to the way they used to be between them. Call her crazy, but Serena's not really feeling being friends with someone who blackmails her and outs her brother over dinner. Georgina insists that outing Eric was a mistake, but when Serena accuses her of lying, she smirks and says maybe she did do it on purpose - and maybe she can do a lot more damage yet. With that parting shot, "Sarah" runs to catch up with Vanessa and Dan, leaving Serena distraught and alone.

Dan and Rufus are playing Scrabble at home when Jenny arrives, and tearfully asks if she can play too. She begins sobbing and apologizing, while Rufus embraces her. Oh boo hoo hoo, this is all your own damn fault and I have no sympathy. I also don't think this will be the last time Jenny tries to climb the social ladder, do you? All it's going to take is for another wealthy guy to pay attention to her for the mercenary bitch in her to come out again.

Meanwhile, Serena arrives at Blair's in tears. Blair repeatedly begs Serena to tell her what's wrong, but Serena keeps shaking her head, saying she can't tell because then Blair would be a part of it and she can't be a part of it. Blair stubbornly persists, telling Serena "We're sisters. You're my family. What is you is me. There's nothing that you could ever say to make me let go" (awww), and Serena finally cracks... and utters these three words: "I killed someone." Whaaaaaat?

Picture 1-14

"Umm, can I take back all that 'I love you' crap I just said? Prison-orange really isn't my color."

Wow. What did you think of this week's episode? I thought it was one of the stronger ones, but without any Blair-Chuck interaction, I can't call it my favorite. It was also a little too angsty for my taste, since I prefer more of a comedic blend in my dramas. However, despite those grumbles, it was still pretty awesome - especially Eric and Blair. Are you surprised Eric is the gay character? Do you miss Chuck as much as I do (and barely notice that Nate wasn't there either)? Did you catch all the quick pop culture references - and if so, do you like them or are they a bit much?

And most importantly - do you really think Serena killed someone? I'm thinking either a) the man on the tape tried to rape/attack her and it was self defense, b) the man on the tape OD'd and S and G panicked and left him for dead, or c) Serena's completely innocent and this is a huge Georgina mind-fuck like last week with the SAT. I'm leaning the most towards option C, because that seems the easiest for the writers to deal with, and the least ridiculous of the options. Honestly, I'm hoping no one's really dead, because I'm just not up for sitting through another Tyra-Landry dead guy plot. What about you?

Megolopolis:

Did anyone notice when the girls were walking down the hall at school and Hazel called Jenny "Little J," she sounded exactly like the gossip girl voice over?

No one ever suspects the dumb girl.

smithy:

The voice of Gossip girl is done by Kirsten Bell (Veronica Mars). Wonder if she'll ever be on the show

preppyboy:

i called EVERYTHING! i called eric being gay, although everyone did, and i called that serena killed someone. but georgina is TOTALLY gossip girl! towards the end when she was talking to serena she said "i know everything about you, your friends, and your family before you do." GeorGina.....Gossip Girl....GG

BBFanatic:

I can honeslty say I hate that bitch Georgina!! I love bitchy blair and simpy serena is getting on my nerves. I think Chuck is scuzzy but gotta love the villan, right. oh, and eric...ugh! He is not even hot enough to be gay! I would have to agree that this episode although great blair/serena interaction, it was a little to "Little House on The Prairie" this week. It will be interesting to see what happens concerning the dead guy. I think that Serena was set up by Georgina.

blairwaldorf:

this was one of the better episodes i think, i do miss chuck a lot however!
i had my best friend watch with me for the first time, and she's addicted now. ha.

anyways, i don't really like michelle trachenberg or however her last name is spelt. i've never really liked her as an actress - there's just something about her that annoys me.
oh well, she's only guest starring, and georgina is really making things interesting.
