Dan finally calls the kid who wrote him a fan letter in the beginning of the episode. The kid's parents see Scott's phone ringing and wonder who in the world would be calling their son from Brooklyn. The dad answers and says the boy isn't home. Okeydoke, says Dan. Just tell him Dan Humphrey is calling him back. Yikes, says the dad. Rufus Humphrey's kid just called Scott. They know!
Know what? We wonder. They don't tell us, but I have a good feeling it has something to do with a past relationship or money or a past relationship involving money.
Last but not least, Chuck and Vanessa wake up in bed together and I swallow back some vomit, especially after she tells Chuck that their situation is purely physical. All couples have officially swapped. Just another day in the life of rich New York teens and their less-rich friends. Until next time...

FYI, Scott is Lily and Rufus' son... the one they went looking for in Boston several weeks back.

I literally LOL at the Back to the Future reference - nicely done!

welcome! funny recap, nice work!
I know Fluffy just explained about Scott... but I think the important part about him, is that his adopted parents told Lily & Rufus that he was dead when they went to look for him.

Love the recap! What I wonder is why someone doesn't think it is odd that Dan got a fan letter.

Also-PRODUCT PLACEMENT ALERT!
The new Verizon Hub
commercial was aired during this episode.
At the end of the episode,Serena sends a text to her Mother. It was read on the Verizon HUB!
The ads shown thus far never give an example of a teenage daughter texting her Mother about flying to Spain without asking.

WTF was with the "other person's boyfriend" comment regarding Blair. She and Nate did nothing wrong the entire episode. And to be fair NB was along way before NV and Vanessa was the one that essentially ended things with Nate by walking out on him. Blair may have liked Nate but she never made a move on him until NV were over (which, lets be realistic NV were dead in 216 after there was zero things in common and no drama with them). Nate was the only one that could get through to Blair and she needed someone like that since Serena was going through a quarter life crisis and chuck was just emotionally abusing her. Meanwhile CV were totally callous, petty, and pathetic. NB never would have even happened if chuck hadnt tried to make Blair fee,l guilty for no reason at school. He has no claim over her yet he still feels the need to emotional burden and pity whore, what a prick! I agree that CV is gag worthy though . I cant stand either character and find them to be obnoxious and poorly acted, so watching them together is twice as gross. The pro is that they stay the fuck away from the ppl I like on this show...
Overall, nice recap, but I just wondered if you were being serious about Blair bc she would be the last person to steal someones boyfriend on this show.

Eh. I could have done much better.
What happened to the old recapper? I really loved his/her stuff. Also there were episodes before this one that weren't even covered. There was TONS of hilarious material in those as well. For shame.
Oh well, get better screen caps and more sarcasm and we'll see.

Freaking hysterical! Very humorous writing! I love the paddington blair, chippendales ties... and really, what is with all the ties and endless mornings?? Too funny. Thanks for the entertaining commentary!
