This week on Grey's Anatomy, the recapper was SO late with the recap that one might think that the recapper had lost hope in Grey's Anatomy. But fear not. This week has children trying to shoot parents, and who doesn't like that? In addition to that, we get to meet the ever colorful mom of Izzie. This week on Grey's Anatomy, Izzie takes the "I'm fine, really!" line one step too far, a sexy bromance is rekindled, Lexie cleans out craft services and the producers pull out all the stops to make sure the audience is in tears by the end of the episode. Oh, and Meredith accomplishes a feat I didn't think was possible. She becomes the first woman to ever look horrendous in a wedding dress.

This "week" on Grey's Anatomy, Grey's finally reaches a goal they have been shooting for all season. They surprise us! No, not with Izzie's illness or the fact that TR Knightly has a dramatic swan song in his near future, but our opening monologue is Grey free this week. We are treated to Alex telling us the crappy mentality of a surgeon as he watches over Izzie sleeping in the hospital.

Hi everyone! This "week's" Grey's Anatomy is ridiculously late, and for that I am very sorry. I was out of the country and missed the episode so now I'm playing catch up. Interestingly enough, in this episode a lot happens, but we are spared from too many dumb sub-stories and stick to the people we actually care about. Derek is still nuts, Meredith is shockingly calm, Izzie is stubborn, Sloan gets to play God and George actually plays a significant part in this episode! That being said, I apologize again and let's dive right in.

After a long hiatus, we are back with a new drama filled week on Grey's Anatomy. As morning breaks, all the members and new members of the frat house prepare for another day of torturing interns, boning Doctors and experimental surgery. All except for one. McDreamy has set up shop on the downstairs couch, and for anyone who has ever actually spent time in a fraternity house common room...this is pretty close. He hasn't shaved, showered or moved in a few days and he's surrounded by empty boxes of take-out and cereal. Add 60 odd Natty light cans and you've got the last stop before freedom on the walk of shame.

This week on Grey's Anatomy, the show starts out with a serious tone as Addison Montgomery makes her way back to Seattle Grace. When the ambulance arrives The Chief and Derek meet it with hugs for Addison and the woman she's with. They wheel in Addy's brother as Addison tells Derek that he was fine earlier but then something just went terribly wrong. So did they take an ambulance all the way to Seattle from LA? Or does this guy live in Seattle? Or am I thinking logic way too early into this explosive crossover event?

All week long in preparation for Grey's Anatomy, we have been prepped and pumped for a huge Thursday night event where Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice have an explosive cross over episode. This was meant to build excitement, but for someone who doesn't watch Private Practice, all it did was incite a groan. Furthermore ABC I don't appreciate you saying this has never been done before, because isn't this exactly what you did when Private Practice first started? That's how I learned in the beginning that I thought that it sucked. But I guess they want to give us another chance to reject Addison's new home. So, without further ado let's jump right into this week's explosive crossover event.

This week on Grey's Anatomy, the episode starts out somberly with a voice over from the grave, Denny. Watch out Mary Alice, you aren't the only dead person who can narrate an episode! Denny informs us that he believes in heaven, as the camera subtly watches Izzie. He also tells us he believes in hell, as we watch prisoner Dunn bang his skull into oblivion in hopes of killing himself. Denny let's us know that he hasn't seen either place, but that doesn't make him question their existence. I appreciate faith in heaven and hell, but if I was living in purgatory, I'd start having my doubts.

This week on Grey's Anatomy, the role of the overprotective mother is being played by Bailey. As she watches over Jackson, our sweet dying patient from last week, Arizona comes rushing down the hall. This is a 911 page at 2AM Arizona, stop running and start skating. Arizona makes up for her lack of skate use by being on full alert and ready to hear the cause of Bailey's 911 page. Bailey updates that Jackson's blood pressure is up slightly and maybe just maybe this will push him higher on the transplant list.

Happy New Year! It was a long winter break from out favorite 12th ranked hospital. But it's a new year and I'm full of fresh hope for Grey's to regain its stride and start kicking ass again.

This week on Grey's Anatomy, the commercials have promised an explosive, can't miss episode that will Change. It. All. And that, was the most exciting part of the entire show. (I've warned you in advance) The show begins with Meredith talking about wishes. Per, Mer we only get one worthwhile wish a year, which is your birthday wish. But some people throw in extra wishes, like eyelashes, pennies in fountains, etc. just in case life gets too shitty. As the camera pans on a smiley Mer and Der cuddling in bed, Meredith remises that sometimes those wishes come true. When no acme weight drops on their bed, I ascertain that we are not talking about my wish that came true here. Not to fear, I used this year's Thanksgiving wishbone-wish on this show to get better this season so maybe I'll be 1-1.
