This week is the final week before we finally find out who will comprise House's new team. I cannot say that I am sad to see it's coming to an end. When this whole thing started, who did you think would make it? Did you see them bringing in an outside doctor just to fire them? Because I did not. I did a little research into spoilers to find out who will be left standing, and I'm not entirely happy about it. But anyways, I found this week's episode to be pretty entertaining. See if you can discern from my subtle title who goes home this week.
Oh, the injustice!
Hey, we're at a magic show! Some British guy talks about a trick by Houdini, and Kal and black doctor are both in the crowd. "Ooh ooh" says Kal raising him arm enthusiastically. So the magician brings black doctor on stage. There's some talking on stage, but black doctor is a terrible showman, and prudish, so it was boring. The magician gets locked in and they're about to drop him into the water tank for the escape trick. Suddenly the magician, upside down in the water tank, gets a blank stare and blood starts coming from his mouth. Black doctor yells to Kal "Get up here!" kind of like a Mortal Kombat character, and they begin to get the magician out as the credits roll.
What's Chris Walken doing on House?
House rolls into the room on a scooter, which apparently has no relevancy. Maybe Hugh Laurie is sick of faking a limp all the time. Everyone is sad because they've got no patient, and Kal tells House about the magician (his heart stopped). House is trying to tell the doctors about a new challenge where the winner gets immunity and nominates two people for firing, but black doctor interrupts about the magician. House then insults him for going on a man-date. House refuses to accept the magician as a patient, and cut throat keeps wanting to know about the challenge so she can cheat her way to winning it. Kal won't let the patient go, so House lets him run tests on the magician.
Meanwhile, you guessed it, cut throat asks for about the 80th time about the challenge. The challenge? Bring House the thong of Lisa Cuddy. They all get up to leave, cut throat enthusiastically, which is kind of hot, and they all stop and look at Foreman, who's been reading the paper the whole time. He plays along, saying it's how he got hired, and the doctors all go to embark on Operation Cuddythong. That's a likable Foreman, glad to see it this week.
Outside, the doctors all agree to say they failed because it's demeaning to undergo such a task. Cut throat is the last to agree, and black doctor says she'll still going to do it. "Of course I am," says cut throat before she walks off, and I begin to fantasize about the ways she can get Cuddy's thong.
What? It could happen...
Kal says the results are negative, and he says it dejectedly. Cute woman walks in and asks about the patient, and she tells the magician why Kal is disheartened. The magician asks if it would help if he puked, and he pukes a deck of cards. At the least he's probably caught magic fever. Maybe? The magician does a card trick for cute woman, and while she's helping him with it, she's asking him about the failed trick. He doesn't seem concerned, and he continues with the trick. Kal says they'll prep him for some procedure and doesn't want to aid in helping with the trick. Eventually he obliges and gives his wallet over. The magician opens it, and it catches fire. He blows out the fire and there's cute woman's card. As soon as they see it, Kal and cute woman lose interest in curing him and want to know about the trick.
Wait a second, weren't you in Pulp Fiction?

I don't have any inside info, but I'm hoping creepy doctor goes.
I'm in favor of gratuitus shots of women's body gifts. It's one of the things that makes House who he is. (And makes darn good TV).
Thanks for the recap.
Incidently, the actor playing the magician was a regular on Crossing Jordan, playing a doctor.
