Holly's first look includes a gigantic floppy hat that I adore on the runway, but if I ever saw anyone actually wearing it, I'd definitely laugh behind their back and maybe even to their face. Her second look involves a sparkly silver gown. Tyson mouths "wow" as she exits.
Question time! Niki says they saw a new side of Holly today. Her walk was beautiful, but they're still concerned about her presence.
They call Perry handsome, and say he keeps going head to head with Shannon. How does Perry feel about that? Well, he sees Shannon as competition, but he feels like if it came down to the two of them, he would win.
Shannon is offered a rebuttal, and she says she can do everything better than Perry, and with less cockiness. But Tyson is still worried about her personality - he asks, "who IS Shannon?" She replies that she likes to give everything she does her all, in a subtle way. Well, thanks, Shannon. That clears it right up.
Jennifer says that Ronnie was very elegant, but his first walk needed a tray in his hand to make him the perfect English butler. Exactly! In his second look, she calls him The Great Gatsby, by which I can only assume she means that his walk conveyed his desire to (SPOILER ALERT!!) take the fall for his married lover, who ran over her husband's mistress, and also be ever watched by the giant eyes of Dr. T.J. Eckleberg. That's probably what she meant.
Casey's walk was much better this week. But again, he got stressed out by Manu cutting him from the video lookbook. They says he went in not confident, and was overthinking. Niki mutters, "ugh, that THINKING!" That's right, Niki. Supermodels have traditionally been pretty vapid, so let's keep them that way!
And last and probably least, we have Ben. He's asked what happened at Bloomingdale's. He says he felt the situation was awkward, and he felt like a salesman instead of a model. Corey asks him if he even wants to do this, and he gives an unconvincing "yeah, but it's up to America, and for y'all to put me up there. You gotta do what you gotta do." Tyson mutters, "love that attitude." Ben, nostrils aflare, asks what they want him to do about it. Tyson and Niki both say he should step up, to which he replies, "Every week I'm just gonna be back in the f*cking bottom." Wow. And on that note, they excuse the models and talk amongst themselves.
Holly became a woman this week (did that shoot with Ben go further than they let on?). Shannon brings her personality to clients, but not panel. Perry's walk was boring. Casey's androgynously beautiful but not confident. Ronnie clearly wants this. Then Niki says Ben was "forgetful - all I remember is stiff." Doesn't she mean forgettable, then? Ugh, that THINKING!
The models come back for the judges to announce their decisions. Niki first addresses Shannon and Holly. She says that no matter the style, market, or time period, the one constant this week was two incredible models. You can practically see the smoke coming out of Perry's ears. Holly is this week's winner, and Shannon is safe.
They reiterate their thoughts from earlier - Ben needs a better attitude. Ronnie didn't stand out to the clients, Perry needs to pull back the entertainer, and Casey needs more confidence. And with that, Perry is excused and Ben, Ronnie, and Casey are up for the vote. And if Ben gets put through over Casey I will punch the wall. And then cry.
And now we finally get to this episode's REAL drama! Back at the house, there's a message for Perry to call his girlfriend Amanda. He goes upstairs to do so, and she answers. Her first words are "you need to listen to me." That's not good. She says there's a huge story in the media about her that's about to blow up. She says it's not true, but unfortunately, he'll be affected by it. He tries to ask her what it's all about, and she just keeps cutting him off. Then a dog starts barking in the background, and he asks her if she still wants to be with him. She says she can't talk about it right now and hangs up. Harsh! He calls her back and gets her voicemail. PWN!!

I am READY for Ben to go home! Loved the image of him draped across a car, though! Ronnie is a real sweetie, and I hope they keep him around, but Holly is beautiful, and I think she should win it all!

"That thinking" that is the funniest thing I've ever heard, hysterical!!!! Watch it again if you don't believe me.
I'm over Ben too, but I suspect his Bonnie stuff will keep him in for another week. I suspect they knew putting Ronnie in the bottom would assure the departure of Ben or Casey. Ben will be in the bottom until he's finally gone, but I have to say, Perry looks fug in his walk, monkey faced and stiff mouthed, not handsome to me at all. IT's obvious he's a dick, esp to the girls, so I'm glad his girl aligned herself with one of the world's biggest DB's. I don't blame her for not talking to him, on the phone, ON TV, as she's not getting anything from his being on the show. He forced her to say she loves him in the other call, it's payback time . . .
Show's still dull, but I'm good w Holly taking it, or Ronnie. Will it be our vote in the end? If so, Perry will never make it . . I'm just sayin'

Great recap Sparkles- you have such a grasp on...everything! The Gatsby mentions (you must have actually read the book!) were brilliant.
Ben should go. I think America is over the Bonnie thing and even in the "sexy" photo shoot I got the impression that Ronnie finally has gotten the fact that Ben is a big P-tease. Or C-tease...whichever you choose.
The "Ugh, that thinking!" line is one of the best ever. What were the models thinking by thinking? Each week they are told basically that they are sub-human clothes hangers (and wire hangers at that) and that they are only there because they are "attractive" and tall with very little body hair.
And enough with the staged phone calls! If Perry is such a degrading womanizer why would he say things like "don't you want to be with me, babe?" Whether he thinks it or not, he is a terrible actor and this girlfriend of his is probably one of the shows producers standing off to the side with a fake phone and a script written on a piece of toilet paper.

I must say that I love Perry and will take him if his dumbass girlfriend doesn't. Adnan? Seriously gross.

did anyone else get the feeling that ben mentioned the ronnie pairing in the video thingy because he knows that's why america is keeping him around? it just felt very fishy to me and i don't like him using ronnie that way.

Krinka, I know what you mean, Ronnie was coldish and awkward, and at the end, Ben mentioned he and his boy were up--more playing to the audience!? Anyway, like he obnoxiously stated, it's up to America . . .

Greatttttt recap, I love your disdain for this show. I have a huge crush on Casey, I just want to take him home and protect him.
So over Perry's arrogance, but I guess it makes for a good model.
Every one of the remaining six looks great on film. I think they've all grown so much in the course of this show. The men have just chosen to grow more obnoxious as the women grow more talented. hehe

@ theinternetsensation. I Wish I noticed it was a furniture store! LOL. Too funny. The party looked EXTRA lame by the way.
This recap came so late that I already saw this week's episode and it totally sucks that Ben is back and the Shannon is in the BOTTOM TWO with Ronnie. NOT FAIR. I used to like Ronnie, but lately he has been rubbing me the WRONG way. All the boys actually. Ben can't model and has a horrible attitude, Perry erks me cause we discovered he cheated on his girlfriend during the Valentine's episode, but when she cheats on him he thinks we should feel sorry for him. lol. yeah right. Burnn bitch burn bitch.
And Ronnie is NOT that good of a model to be saying all these negative critical comments towards everyone. Bitch needs to be sent packing!
I voted for Holly 20 times, but I'm afraid that Ronnie's fanbase is just too massive for him to get sent home:(
Poor Shannon. The judges were wrong for doing that shit.
They should've found any ole' reason to put Ben in the bottom.
This show is really making me angry!!
