Later that night, Brillo is in the apartment with his girlfriend, explaining that he's not allowed to start on a new album yet because he's still pushing his first one. So he's bored and doesn't know what to do with himself. He hates being held back. He says that everyone who would have bought his album already has it, so he wants to stop promoting. Well, Brills, ya just never know. There still might be some girls at The Mall of America who haven't yet gotten around to making the trip to Suncoast Video to buy your tunes. It's hard getting your parents to give you a lift to the mall. It often takes months of campaigning and promising to clean the cat's litterbox. You know, the cat that they wanted but never took care of? So mom has to take care of it? And mom resents it?
Brillo tells us that he knows his dream is in jeopardy, so he's biting his tongue and praying for the best. Brillo and Melissa sit on the balcony, and he waxes on about how people are watching tv right now. He says some people may be 50 years old and going to their construction job because they gave up on their dream.

At some other point in time (I'm assuming after all that philosophical rambling about construction workers), Brillo goes to meet with Diddy to touch base about his career. Diddy asks how everything is going. Brillo says good and busy. He says that at all the shows, his fans sing along with every song, and he doesn't understand why the radio isn't playing his music. Diddy asks if his dancing is getting better, and he says he's working on it, but it doesn't come as naturally as singing. And, come to think of it, he doesn't understand why the radio stations don't play his dancing either. His dancing sounds amazing.
Diddy says that as long as he's getting better everyday, then he's right on track. Then he asks if Brillo has anything to demo. Brillo lights up and says absolutely. Diddy tells him to record a couple songs and pass them along. Brillo is excited but says his ultimate goal is to be able to work on a new album. But he can't wait to record his new songs "Mr. Love," "Professor Love," and "Private First-Class Love."

Back in the studio with Day26...They are recording that awful "Touched by an Angel" song again. Robert tells us they have so much to do and no time. Robert's hat nods in agreement. Que approaches Joe Chuck and tells him that he's not in the song, so he's going to dance rehearsal. Get it? "Dance rehearsal." (a.k.a. to watch "Steel Magnolias" and cry.) Will says that only one person can record at a time, but they need everyone there for support and to know what's going on. Joe Chuck tries to ask the producer, Lo Down, if Que can leave, and he says Que needs to stay. Que argues that being there is wasting his time when he could be dancing. Get it? "Dancing!" Like dancing on a pole for money to go to the Pokonos!
Brian asks Que what's wrong, and he says nothing. Then he calls his mom and says he doesn't want to be there. Que tells us that he never wants to waste his time. Watching Que try to rationalize his actions is hilarious. Then he gets up and leaves. Brian says they are flabbergasted because they need to get the album done. And if Brian is flabbergasted, then Big Butter is flubbergasted because he mutters something about how the band is getting on his nerves.

Across town or later in the week or last year (it's hard to say), Brillo is in the studio with the Young Boys to record some demos. He wants to do R&B Pop Rock. Brillo is excited that he gets to write songs and get out some of the frustrations he's feeling. You know what, Brills sounds good. Yeah yeah yeah. Perhaps I'm going soft. But something in me, deep down, is silently and secretly rooting for Brillo to succeed. Okay, now we must never speak of this AGAIN.

I do think Dawn is supporting Que's behavior. She not even telling him to stop she's encouraging this shit. I don't know maybe Dawn is Que's drug dealer or something. lol
I am rooting for Brillo, I really want him to succeed. I know Brillo would never diss his group to do some drugs, I'm sorry go to "dance class"
It was nice to see Big Butter speak up for once but I see it didn't help Que is back to the same old tricks next episode. Hey remember Buddha he use to coach them and stuff maybe he need to council Que or something. Great recap Flipit!!!

I'm sorry not Buddha I meant Ankrah, remember him. Ankrah looked like a skinny Buddha. Ankrah could set Que straight.

Que's behavior is starting to look a lot like severe paranoia... he really believes everyone is against him, everyone is out to get him, and people are jealous of him... and he acts on those beliefs... this type of paranoia is the first sign of paranoid schizophrenia, which usually begins for people in their early 20's... just adding a psychological perspective to the discussion... I would not be surprised if he is diagnosed with a severe mental disorder within the next few years... I'm also willing to acknowledge that we don't see everything on TV, but based on what I'm seeing, there is definitely some paranoia there.

Q on making the band needs to be sent home. He was having problems about home. He is the youngest and most disrepectful of the group. This is the best group since the Temptations and they need to do whatever necessary to be just that and better. He will end up bringing the group down.

I think Dawn is all at fault. She's at fault with Danity Kane and now she's manipulating Que. Just like how she manipulated Diddy. She's sooo obviously fake and Que is so obviously on drugs.

I'm baaack!! I couldn't wait for this recap. I withdraw my earlier diagnosis of Que as being bipolar. It's something more alarming. The more I see the show, the more I see how Dawn basically controls Que's actions and enables his behavior. What happened to DK is not happening with D26 (at least not yet), but Dawn is so hell bent on comparing the two groups. Butter's advice to Que was so touching and REAL. Fast forward to the highlights and Que is showing his ass AGAIN. Obviously, they are not breaking up, but I wish Will would beat his ass!!! I know that studio fight is going to prompt some action from Diddy. Again, GREAT RECAP!!!!!

Yes! I think I failed to say it in my recap, but I found Big Butter's speech to be very moving, too. Mostly because he never talks. So when he finally talked, everyone was sure to listen.
This whole season has centered around Que being nuts! Can you believe it?! He's a cash cow!

1 part paranoia + 1 part unemployed Dawn = Crazy Que.
My co-worker thinks Que is cracking under the pressure of having to support his family and Dawn if she remains without a group. Still as wild as Orange there is no DK without she and D Woods. I don't think any of the 5 has the start quality to be a solo artist.
Big Butter crying made me cry too.

Day 26 was on one of our morning radio stations here in Houston on Wednesday and I was SHOCKED because they aren't even played on the radio here. (They were actually in the studio and not calling in.) The DJs asked Que straight out what was the problem and asked if he was on drugs. He denied it, of course, but NONE of the guys wanted to talk about what the "real" problem was. They just said it was something small that unfortunately got filmed and made to LOOK LIKE a big deal. OF COURSE Que had the AUDACITY to blame the editing!!! Not to jump ahead, but there is a total of 4 weeks of this BS with Que (more next week and the next plus last week) so that is quite some editing. Que gave them enough bitchassness for FOUR EPISODES!

Bullshit, that was no damn editing. Que was fighting like for the whole season, how is all that editing? I hate when ppl blame the editing for all negative things they did on tv, u did all that stuff u cannot blame the show for all the show for showing ppl exactly what u did. They probably never going to tell us what really was the problem with Que and he's just going to say he was going through a lot of stuff dealing with his home life. I would actually respect them more if they said Que was on drugs on something and it would make more sense.

I think if Que wasn't on drugs then, he's definitely on them now for schizophrenia, biplolar disorder, anger-management, or somethin'!! Because he's out of control!!! Nobody wants to eff up the money so they'll do what they have to do. Que's own MOTHER could tell he is screwed up. He needs help.

OK ANYBODY CAN SEE THAT HE IS ON SOME TYPE OF DRUGS. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHICH ONE. DAWN MAYBE ON DRUGS BECAUSE SHE SEEMS TO SUPPORT EVERYTHING HE DOES. IT WONT BE LONG BEFORE HE BEATS THE SH!T OUT OF HER. THEY SAY DAY 26 WAS ON 106 AND PARK AND QUE CLAIMED TO HAVE BROKEN UP WITH HER. IF ITS TRUE WAY TO GO DAWN BECAUSE THAT DUDE IS GOING DOWN FAST
