We don't know how this happened. We don't know why this happened. All we know is that a dog stuck her head in a pipe, and KCBS was there with the report. I always thought they were silly for introducing an Action News Animal Pipe Response Team, but I was clearly in the wrong.
THIS JUST IN! Apparently this incident happened in Texas when a stray dog purportedly chased a rabbit into a pipe. The dog has since been saved and given an identity. Her new name? You guessed it: Piper. I personally would have called her "Dumbest Dog EVER." For more on this story, click here.

it looks like a warner-bros cartoon. when they pulled the dog's head out, was it shaped like the pipe?

Hmm. Sometimes it's best just to let natural selection run its course.

Blessedly I read the story. From the picture I feared it was the other end of the dog having problems with a pipe.

Please, no more sad animal stories... I just find these too heartbreaking. And everytime I click on the page now I have to look at this picture.

They should have filled the pipe with compressed air and shot the dog out like a cannon.
This is even dumber than the media circus in NYC for the cat stuck in the wall for 2 weeks. For those of you not following the story, yes little Molly was rescued.
