Didn't they do that on Seinfeld?

I have hated this show from day 1. I can't believe it has been on so long. Debra Messing is the worst comedic actress ever, worse than Jenna Elfman. A red head cracks a joke and she thinks she's Lucy. Please, go away Debra Messing.

I'll miss Karen. No one has made prescription drugs and alcohol look so stylish and fun.

I watched the first season of this show, and it was pretty funny. The gay jokes that seem obvious and commonplace now were certainly more edgy in the mid-90s. The Karen character was pretty great. However, the show obviously just coasted ever since. Amazing it's still on the air. It's been about five years since I've heard of anyone admitting to watching this show. Nice Seinfeld ripoff they have planned for the finale. Debra Messing is hot.

Note, I don't know if they'll actually be in prison. I was just making fun of them for bending over. It was my attempt at a bad gay joke. I guess I am unfunny enough to write for W&G.

When is the last episode? Charmed is off the air May 21st. I haven't watched it in over 2 years but I still want to see how it ends, same with Will & Grace. I caught an episode 2 weeks ago and she was pregnant with Leo's baby and I was like HELLO??? When the hell did that happen?

I am obviously going against the grain, but I love this show. I have seen every single episode since it first aired. Granted, the show is not nearly as good now as it was when it began, but I still think it is a great show. It opened a lot of doors and a lot of "mainstream" people's eyes. I will miss it!!!

Will and Grace, as well as Fraiser, should have gone away while they were still funny and fun to watch. I stopped watching both these shows two years before they died. It was (is) just too painful.

Did someone lose something? Contact lens? Earring backing? Dignity? Or perhaps they are hanging their heads in collective shame for Grace choosing Chloe Dao's nasty collection on Project Runway. Which reminds me, Molly Ringwald is on MEDIUM next week!

(sigh) i admit to watching it now too. hey, thats what happens when alias goes on hiatus forever.
i find it amusing, and karen is the bestest.
i did however find info about the second to last episode:
TONY WINNER BERNADETTE PETERS AND JOSH LUCAS ('GLORY ROAD') TO GUEST-STAR AT Macedonian Airlines (Greece)">IN SUPER-SIZED PENULTIMATE EPISODE - In a special super-sized episode - the series' next-to-last - just as Grace (Debra Messing) and Will (Eric McCormack) are settling into the idea of raising the baby together, Will's boyfriend Vince (guest star Bobby Cannavale) surprises him with an announcement that will lead Will to choose between his commitment to Grace and his relationship with Vince. Meanwhile, Karen (Megan Mullally) shocks everyone when she announces the she has a sister, Gin (guest star Bernadette Peters, "Annie Get Your Gun"), who was injured as a child during a game of Twister. Josh Lucas, on the other hand, comforts Jack (Sean Hayes) after a devastating discovery when his new show "The Badge" premieres.

I used to like this show during the first season but then got tired of the endless repeats of the same eps and realized I had been watching season two at some point so I gave up because what's the point if all the eps seem alike? I'm surprised this mess is till on the air.

Don't worry, J-Unit, I got the joke. I'm not saying it was funny but I got it. If I'm in bed and an old episode comes on, I'll watch it- until the commercial break anyway. Karen was the best character on the show but that's not saying much. Most tv shows air past their expiration date. It's the nature of the biz.

God, I am so totally out of it today. This joke flew completely over my head. Here I am thinking what a stupid ending that is going to be, especially because that's how Seinfeld ended, and it turns out to be a clever joke. Apparently too clever, J-Unit! [Insert my picture with a big egg over my face here.] I'm so ashamed of myself.

Don't worry bluebell; it wasn't just you. I believe it was the word "preview" in reference to the picture above that made it not-so-"gettable".
Anyway, I'm not ashamed to say that I like and watch the show. It's one of the only prime-time shows I watch these days. After it's gone, the only show I can stand to watch or multitask to on NBC will be Scrubs (which, unfortunately, has to occasionally share time-slots with American Idol).

Thanks for that, Raggedy Andy. But now that I know it was a joke, it is kind of funny. Especially when you see the picture.
I also agree with you about Scrubs. That is the most underappreciated show on tv today. I hope it's around for another season.

that is probably one of the great unintentionally funny ads ..the way that schmaltzy show is written, no doubt the writers were sooo serious about it being their "final bow".

I got the joke. I might watch the last episode just to see how it does end. They've had some great guest stars on there over the years. I missed the Britney episode b/c I don't watch W&G anymore, and I don't watch Britney either.

"Not funny anymore?" Doesn't that imply that it was funny at one point in time?

Okay, I'm going to blame the fact that my kids are keeping me up at night and that I've been sleep deprived for 4 days but what is the joke??? I still don't get it. I feel like a blonde joke right now and it's not feeling too good. Does that mean the season finale doesn't end with them all going to prison? So embarressed, but my curiosity is getting the better of me so I decided to brave the embarressement and post my question/ignorance. :)
