I think I actually like Allie. I didn't so much in the first episode. I think Chrissy is sweet, but not as interesting. Allie seems more complex in comparison. She might even be potentially smart.

I am also anti-Fatty. I think that Chrissy will be glad one day that Daddy was so overprotective...at least it isn't quite so easy for her to make bad decisions...On the fence re: Allie as well.

I've never been so irritated before by a Laguna Beach character as I am by Chipmunk Whore aka Samantha. Her voice is just pure, concentrated annoyance and her desperation is disgusting. I love Allie though, and Chrissy is just starting to get boring and starting to suffer from Tessa-itis. Will there EVER be a Kristin C the II?

I'm definitely liking this show. Also on team Anti-Fatty, totally loved the "Uh, you saw that?" screenshot cause she looked so busted when Allie mentioned it lol. As for Chrissy, I feel really bad for her that her dad keeps ruining it for her and c*ckblocking Clay even though I don't think he's even remotely cute but whatevs! I also thought that her mom was giving a creepy vibe when she was like oh Clay is soooooooooooo cute omg, like chill out lady he could be your son lmao. Anyways, great recap! :)

I will start saying, I haven't read this entire post, but these girls are teenage girls. Can you stop calling her Fattie? its just wrong. I understand that she puts herself out there on TV, but say that to someone out of high school. She isn't even fat - scarastic or not, its not right with all the pro ana pages out there.

Fat is fat is Fattie. If you are not a 16 year old sex goddess than you have no right to be on MTV. The three seasons of Laguna Beach and the Hills should have made that very apparent to these young painted strumpets. Though it is refreshing to see a teenage girl in the awkward phase. Living in Southern California I have come to believe that it must have been only on the East Coast where this happens, because out here (go to any shopping mall) all teenagers are ridiculously over developed physically and financially. But I digress (literally and mentally)

Yes, recaps are far better than the actual show, for The Arrested Development (best show in the last 10 years and they treat it like Dice Clay did Ducky) reference alone.

Why is no one commenting on the dancing? Chrissy was just rhythmlessly bouncing around while Clay was clumsily trying to grind her leg - I was so vicariously embarrassed for them that I was RELIEVED when her dad called.

LMAO @ post # 21, I too noticed the lack of rhythm. Also wanted to add that Clay sometimes reminds me of Spicoli when he talks and when he laughs. Plus his nose kinda reminds me of Spicoli's nose too.(Fast Times at Ridgemont High, just in case)
