The escapees have bound and gagged Old Whore and Cop Daughter. T-Bag is apparently advocating that they kill them, whereas the others don't want to. Michael waxes reflective about how he once thought that they could wipe the slate clean and go back to being law-abiding citizens eventually, but now he realizes why there is no such thing as an ex-con. He apologizes to the hostages and promises them that they won't be harmed. Meanwhile, he plans to finish digging in the garage. He puts Sucre in charge of guarding the women, which partially means protecting them from T-Bag. T-Bag looks at the women salaciously. So, in case you were wondering, he's attracted to young women too.

Evil Agent Kellerman is on the phone with that Asian guy who recently pissed him off by announcing that he is henceforth going to serve as middleman between Kellerman and the president. Asian Guy tells Kellerman that Dr. Sara's cell phone is tapped, and therefore, the bad guys now know that Governor Tancredi and Sara are both onto the fact that "Lance" is not as gay and harmless as he appears. Evil Agent Kellerman suggests that now that Operation Befriend Dr. Sara has gone down in flames, the bad guys should switch over to using L.J. as leverage over the escapees.

Sara is looking for her father at his office. Some staffer type tells her that Governor Tancredi's nomination as Vice-President has just been withdrawn. They muse about how bizarre this is, given that Tancredi was a politically safe pick.

Michael and Linc are digging in the garage. T-Bag decides to remind us all that in addition to being an omnisexual rapist and murderer, he is also a white supremacist. He holds up a copy of "National Anthropology" magazine and asks C-Note what it's like to be with a black chick. C-Note is rather annoyed, especially in light of the fact that T-Bag is not digging, and calls T-Bag "Trailer Park." Meanwhile, the guys are watching the news, and they hear the phrase "Fox River Eight." T-Bag points out that it should be seven, now that Abruzzi is down for the big dirt nap. The guys comment on how long Tweener is taking to gas up the car in town.

Mahone goes into the interrogation room to pull some of his Jedi mind tricks on Tweener. Remember, back when he tried these on L.J., they didn't work at all. Mahone starts things off on a "Huh?" note, by asking Tweener if he is Catholic. Ah - his angle is that confession is good for the soul. Pretty weak, Mahone. Next he offers to tell Tweener a secret of his own, about Oscar Shales. Um, Mahone, that's your obsession, not Tweener's. Why would he give a crap? Mahone gets all misty-eyed about how Oscar was so smart and kept evading him; it was a regular chess game, except that Oscar kept killing people. Mahone went totally loco during this time period and kept hallucinating dead bodies and so forth. That's why he has to take magic blue pills now.

I am stumped by why Mahone thinks that making his own "confession" about being mental is going to inspire Tweener to confess about this unrelated matter. Duhviously, it doesn't work. Then Mahone goes on to show Tweener some pictures of the dead hand-sewing vet. He points out to Tweener that T-Bag is a big-time murderer and the longer he's on the loose, the more people he's going to kill. This is Mahone's first decent argument, and it appears to be the first one to make an impression on Tweener.

Suddenly we cut to Arizona, where I believe we have never been before. This is where L.J. is being held. A guard leads him to a meeting with his "lawyer," but L.J. is smart enough to know that no such meeting is scheduled. Back in Chicago, Evil Agent Kellerman is creepily stalking Sara on the street. He takes a call informing him that the Burrows kid in Arizona is "as good as gone."

L.J. continues to argue with the guard that his lawyer can't really be there, but the guard locks him in a little room to await the "lawyer" anyway. L.J. is greeted by a shadowy figure in a suit, who claims to be a local ADA and surprises L.J. with some release papers.

Great re-cap Amanda. The end was crazy, never saw any of it coming. What about Sucre telling all to give him the money? Wow. Great TV. Really. Now I have to wait 3 weeks?? It's just mean!

Maybe there will be a crossover between Prison Break and 24. The hangning senator reminded me of Walt Cummings hanging himself in the hall. Who in the real world would be fooled by such a thing?

Good recap Amanda. I don't think Sucre is turning on his fellow escapees. Something else is up. Wonder what that key is for? Patience, patience.

Look at Big K scoring a product endorsement. Step aside Coke, Kroger brand cola is coming through!

If Michael is so smart, how does he not see that L.J.'s release is a trap?

So how many deaths have there been this season? 5? 6?

If we keep going at this rate the whole cast will be eliminated by mid-December. It's a veritable PrisonBreakicide.

Do they have Kroger out in Utah? It was so weird to see that beverage on TV...this was a good episode. I really want Agent Mahone dead already.

2 points:

1. when Agent Park said "he's as good as dead" the scene cut to LJ to make ppl think he was referring to him. After we found out it wasnt LJ, they went to the Gov tancredi story and showed the outcome there. Park was talking about him. I could be wrong though b/c i forgot how the convesation between kellerman and PArk went, but still it was not a suicide. sara's dad was murdered.

2. sara's apartment is being made to look like she died of an OD (after finding out her father's death). There was a shadow slowly approaching behind her as she knelt by the drugs so that person is going to try to kill her. Wait for Kellerman to come to the rescue.

Only seven comments? Wow, this show MUST be lagging. No longer a viewer, TVGasm is my PB source - great (and funny) recap as always. You don't disappoint.
Whoa, now the FBI guy is a killer? I mean come on, how many times has this show jumped the shark by now? And I forget, sorry for Sara and all that, but do we care today that her dad's been murdered? And puhlease do not make Lance/Killerman go all nice-guy on us. I mean, some suspension of disbelief is ok, but that? Not buying it.

Hm - this is getting a little too Da Vinci Code for me.

Nah, more like Lost. Who are the Others? Who is behind the Dharma Project? What is the monster and why is it there?

I mean, Who is the Company? Who does Kellerman work for? What is Mahone and why is he there (considering he's FBI but it's the US Marshal's job to catch fugitives, not the FBI's)?

I think only real surprise left in this show each week is "Who is going to be suddenly and brutally killed this week?"
